I ve been going to European One Auto Repair for 4 years and I can t rave about Edwin and his team enough. They always go above and beyond to help with my car needs, they have even driven me home free of charge on many occasions (although I try not to take advantage of this). Friendly, professional, the kind of mechanic you want to keep your car running reliably! Wish it was easier to find solid businesses like these! Oh and I drive a Jeep, so they do more than European.

Best service ever, I had my 2006 BMW 650I worked on, they were the best, all three family members are polite, Edwin Sr. Edwin Jr. and Kenny. They checked my car out, I setup an appointment, they fixed it quickly. Most honest and reliable auto repair I have ever experienced. It was a pleasure to work with them.

I was happened to be in Santa Monica with my two boys from AZ and my e550 mercedes airbag suspension pop on me. So I was looking for a place specialized mercedes. Luckily, I found EOAR and the Dad and two sons were helping anyway they can. I'm extremely grateful for that,and I'm extremely appreciated for their hospitality and honesty. If anyone have any problems with their cars,whether you're tourist or local. I'd highly recommend this place. On the side notes, Edwin Jr. Gave me a $100 to fill my gas tank to get back to AZ. Thanks buddy! You're the best I wish you all the best for years to come.

Came here with a minor issue, which Edwin Jr. took care of right away. He thoroughly explained what was going and made me feel comfortable with how it is getting fixed. He also went above and beyond helping with other car issues on that spot. I never write reviews but today I wanted to take the time to do so. I took in my Prius because both bumpers were loose and not safe--clips broken. The dealer wanted to charge me $800/bumper plus labor to replace them. I called Edwin, brought in my car and he said he could find a solution. I just returned from picking up my car. I asked him how much I owed him and he told me he would not charge me and that I should make sure I was happy with the work first. He didn't try to sell me new bumpers, he didn't even charge me.It is rare to meet such an honest and professional person. I would highly recommend European One Auto Repair--honest, professional and a pleasure to deal with.

Everyone reviewing is not exaggerating when they say how caring and competent Edwin and Edwin Jr are. I waited 4 months the to write this review to ensure their fix worked and it did! They fixed a grinding sound in my back brake drums that another repair shop failed twice at doing.When I was poorly explaining the weird sound my car was making he took a drive with me to suss it out. They pointed everywhere the repair would be and way logically explained what is and isn't worth purchasing.They didnt upsell anything.You literally see a dad and his sons running this family business.

This was by far the highest quality of service I've ever received from an auto shop. To be honest it's one of the best experiences I've had working with a local business of any kind.I found European One from these reviews and they looked excellent so I gave it a shot.Edwin Jr. was a fantastic communicator, reachable by phone and by text. Before he started the repair he gave me a call to run through costs down to the $10 O-Ring replacement. Honesty and transparency at its finest.When I came to pickup the car, Edwin Jr. once again walked through all costs and replacement parts in depth before running the card.To top it all off he even washed the car!Seriously I can't recommend this shop enough. Got my vehicle serviced today. Just want to thank Edwin, the owner, Edwin Junior and Kenny for their help. They were very efficient and thorough. I was in and out faster than I would have. Had I gone to the dealer thank you guys. Totally recommend them.

The best experience and price to fix a problem with an older car where the part was no longer made. Edwin went above and beyond, spending 3 extra hours, after hours, at no additional charge, to research the issue and track down someone who could remediate the problem another way. Can't say enough about the service, detailed explanation, excellent customer service and quality of the work. Simply one of the best experiences I've ever had at a repair shop. After many lackluster and expensive visits at the car dealership, where you feel (especially as a young woman) that they are taking advantage of your little knowledge of cars, what a relief to have found an honest, trustworthy expert to help with my cars!I first discovered Edwin Jr. when he helped my husband and I inspect a pre-owned Mazda CX-5 to identify any possible issues before we purchased it. He was able to identify a few issues that the seller then paid to fix.Recently, he helped me with a brake issue at no cost - my Subaru's brakes were making a strange clicking sound and he inspected it, tightened things up, and solved the problem. Again, really rare to find someone who isn't trying to nickel and dime you, and takes the time to explain how things work and what to expect with your car.I will definitely be coming back for future service and repairs on both cars. Been coming here since about 2019-2020 and cant say enough nice things about their work - fair prices and always in good spirits. European One did an incredible job fixing the front bumper on my M340i. All 3 of the guys working when I went in were incredibly helpful, kind and were able to quickly fix the front of my vehicle. The service was outstanding & I would highly recommend taking your car there. I moved down to LA in October and needed a few things on my car fixed after a bit of a lack of maintenance on my end after so much moving chaos. My partner swore up and down that he had a shop he went to for all of his car stuff , both maintenance and modifications. After meeting and getting a bunch of work done with both Edwin and Edwin Jr., I can genuinely say they re the most respectable establishment in the area. I ve had a small amount of grief with up-sale pressure and dismissive comments at other places in the area, that generally felt like they wouldn t have happened if I wasn t a woman, and I love that every time I visit European One *whether I m with my partner or not* they treat me with respect and courtesy. A super great place, and I can t recommend it enough!

I m missing these guys since I bought a new car and don t have any car issues! I never looked anywhere else once I found this shop where I trust that all my car needs are being taken care of. I recommend them to anyone who asks as I have faith that anyone who brings them their car troubles will be treated with the same level of care and excellence me and my family have received. I just baught my 2002 Eurovan from a trusted individual who last serviced the transmission here by Edwin Jr. The shop charged the previous owner $380 for transmission service. Come to find out these folks do not know how to work on VW Eurovans and took on a job much bigger than they could do. With service records in hand (service done 7/2022) I called and I was promised that they would take a look at the trans pan where the gasket shows leaking. I showed up on Friday and found out a major attitude issue with Edwin Jr who refused to even poke his head to check. The car has been driven less than 5k miles within the service period and the man refused to vouch for his own work. To the wider VW Eurovan/Vanagon community please be aware and don t trust every euro auto repair shop with your cars. This transmission leak will cost me thousands to fix!

I NEVER write reviews, however, Edwin and the guys at European One have been so fantastic, I couldn t help but give them a glowing review. They have been so beyond great. I couldn t recommend this place more. Edwin Junior was excellent ! He helped me with my car misfire on such a short notice and did the job professionally at a reasonable price. Communications were also great which really helped. Highly recommend this place!

After 40 years of living in Santa Monica, I ve finally found the most honest, most courteous and most reasonably priced auto mechanic shop. I will never even consider taking my cars anywhere else. I m a picky guy who cringes at the thought of having repairs done for fear of being screwed. I m so happy with these guys I can t say enough about their service!

Judah is an amazing mechanic. I call him my master mechanic. I live a distance from his shop but if I want an expert to work on my car there isn't a better mechanic. He is honest, competent and fair.
