I was passing through Santa Maria when my alternator failed on a Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised that Meineke had regular business hours on Saturday. They made room in their schedule for me, which allowed to leave my car, rent another vehicle and make it to an annual reunion with some old classmates that same day in Santa Barbara. Quite honestly, I don't know if their prices were fair or not (ovet $1,200, which also included a new battery). How many times in a lifetime does one have to replace an alternator? The bottom line was that my car needed to be fixed, and I was away from my regular trusted mechanics back home.I was a bit surprised to see on my receipt that the replacement alternator, which was well over $400, was a refurbished (used) part, and not original OEM or a newly manufactured aftermarket one. The part did come with a one year warranty. Although I probably would have had them install the part anyway because I was under duress, it would have been better customer service if they had discussed any options with me beforehand. I simply signed an order authorizing them to replace my failed part. Other than this, my experience was positive.

Christopher was very helpful and stayed in touch with me numerous times while my car was with them. He let me know the estimates depending upon what the issue was, then once the problem was found called me with the situation, the fix and the cost. He was knowledgeable and very helpful. The reviews were what caused the to use then and I would advise anyone looking for reliable, honest, good workers along side with the work, go here!!!

Chris had a great attitude, was very helpful and the service was completed on time. I requested an additional mechanical check and accepted the charge. When collecting my vehicle he told me that the check up did not take as long as they anticipated so they were not charging for it. I appreciate the honesty and for this I will support them with all my vehicles.

I had a family Jeep with lots of problems. Chuck and his team helped me work through these issues, one at a time. Then when an item was missed and the local Jeep dealer diagnosed it, Chuck bent over backwards to ensure these additional issues were resolved to satisfaction. I appreciate all of the extra time spent working with me to ensure work was completed to satisfaction. Thank you!!

My car was doing the classic thing where it would not do the problem for the mechanic. The technicians were thorough and ran all the tests and couldn t find the problem- and didn t charge me even after running all the tests!

The staff & owners at Santa Maria Meineke are true professionals. My repair was handled in less than the time frame quoted & they honored a coupon I had left at home which saved me $50. A Great Day at Santa Maria Meineke! We came in for an alignment and check up after driving our car here from Texas. Everything went as they said it would. John was very knowledgeable on the phone and in person.The work was done perfectly by Rafael! He was kind and explained what all needed to be done, then what he had done and what we needed to do to continue to get the BEST wear out of our tires and car. We really appreciated that level of care and knowledge! We couldn't be happier with the service or the price.Masks were worn by all and they really seemed to care about our safety Thank you!Oh and I was able to snap this BEAUTIFUL rainbow overhead!

Their online scheduling doesn t work, but when I went in I was still able to be seen that day. Overall a friendly environment, I went for an oil change and was told it d take about an hour but was more like 40-45 minutes.

Typically I have received excellent service. Recently, I had a vehicle inspection on a used auto completed however, when I returned home, the radiator had a leak and when replacing the radiator I noticed the belts were cracked and brittle, needing replacing. Great customer service and communication. I took my 99 Tahoe in for a brake system flush and front brakes. They were able to get it finished in a timely manner. Great job. Will definitely be going back for any other repairs that may come along.
