I have been using this dealership since I moved here from NYS in 2019. I have always been treated with respect. I leased a new vehicle last year in May and I didnt feel pressure at all. This dealerships repair department is VOID of any morals! My elderly father took his vehicle in with a seat belt chime that would not silence. They inspected the part only (Did not fix..) and told him it was not working properly. No Sh%#, we knew that before taking it in. They charged him $155 for this EXPERT analysis that took 5 minutes (MAX) to surmise. They claim they don't have a shop rate, but a set charge for items they look at. I call BS. My parents have been loyal customers here for 20 years, I will make sure this place never sees another dime from them. There are some great independent repair shops (Howard Klien Motorwerks is awesome in the Santa Maria Ca. area..) that treat you SO much better both honestly and financially when it comes to repairs.I would NEVER buy a car here, or entertain any mechanical work done by this business.I would highly suggest you do the same.Of note the same diagnosis at TWO different repair shops would have run $52 and $60 respectively. Home Motors should enjoy that $100 extra, it's the last money they will ever see from us!

The Guys in the service area, receiving the vehicles for maintenance have ZERO customer service unless your wearing a mini skirt or are friends with them. I honestly believe the guys working here need to learn and have a test on all the car models Chevy makes before working here.They had me waiting over 45min for my vehicle AFTER it was ready because the guy didnt know the model of my vehicle. When he announced that my car was ready, he announced the wrong car, there was more people in the lobby so i thought nothing of it and kept waiting for my car to be ready not knowing my car has been sitting there. They didnt call my phone either like they said they would. Im 100% sure if i wouldn't have checked i would have been waiting all day. They are known for this, and i have experienced it now. If you can take your vehicle elsewhere for maintenance, do it!
