Easy in, easy out. Get there early if you want anything installed. Had a flowmaster muffler installed in under an hour, with custom piping for $150. Great place for general maintenance also. A family run business with family values. I'll keep going back there!

I have been a customer of San Juan since 2007 when they were on Valley View, and I have to say that the mechanics are will fix just about any car despite the age. They are also knowledgeable, efficient, honest and very fair prices. Awesome mechanic for my old Toyota pickup. Took it to TWO other shops, got charged 1500$ before I took it to this shop. This shop charged me 400$ and fixed the problem to my complete satisfaction. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this shop to anyone. They are super honest and stand by their work. My carburetor reset and minor grounding work in the engine bay has a 6 months warranty. SO AWESOME. !!!

I had a new muffler put on my car, yet I had to bring it back since I was breathing in exhaust in my car. They said they found three holes. Still the same problem so I brought it in again and they found another problem. How is this not done correctly the first time? What shoddy work! What a waste of time and hassle. What a poor job! I wish I never went to this place and will never go back. Now I see damage to my gas cap which was not there before. I can't guarantee it happened here, but I have only been to one other place, and I know this place is horrible. They also told me twice that my carburetor needed to be adjusted so I had to bring my car into another place, and they said it was fine. I do not think this place knows what it is doing, and I regret ever crossing paths with them!Service: Exhaust

These guys were referred to me, and gave me an unbelievable price and stuck to it they did not change it when I brought my car there I was amazed on how fast and Professional they were, they never change the price they kept their word they are very honest people.I will definitely recommend them to people we had a Catalytic converter stolen off our truck and they Installed a new one for us. I absolutely love this place . They recently relocated and I m so happy I was able to find them again. I am a gardener and got two of my work trucks serviced two months ago. They did a complete valve job on one and an engine and the other and they run great! I m so happy with their work. I will never go anywhere else. Such a great family!Heads up they always have a lot of vehicles so you might have to wait . If you need honest mechanics I completely recommend them.Service: Engine repair

They do very good work at reasonable prices, the only thing I can say negative about this place is that they left grease and hand prints all over the front of my car, I hand a very hard time cleaning my car when they were done. They rebuilt my motor and transmission they have done brakes, front and rear, my truck hasn't ran this good in a very long time. I recommend them very highly but make sure you cover the outside and the inside of your car very good.

Okay yelpers this is a really good place to take your cars and trucks because the people care as much as you do about your vehicle. I like the fact that they don't skin you with the profits of their labor and they have your car done in a timely manner. If you ever need your car looked at you're going to have to let him keep it for the day so take it over there when they open and give them the keys. All in all I gave him a 11 to 12 rating out of a 1 + 10. Give them a whirl.

I drove in with a loose muffler that sounded as though it would fall off any minute. Within minutes after driving into the lot, my car was put on the lift. I was told it was an easy fix and that it would be ready in approximately 15 minutes. In less than 20 minutes I was driving away after paying an incredibly reasonable price. The people were quite friendly and knowledgeable which was an added plus.

I've been bringing my cars to San Juan Muffler Shop for about 5 years now and have had nothing but good experiences. They are always friendly, fast, and affordable.I took my first car to a different place and they did such a bad job my breaks went out on the freeway. A friend recommended San Juan Muffler Shop so I gave them a shot. They waited for the tow truck to arrive with my car and they fixed it for a completely reasonable price in a timely manner! These are the kind of people you want helping you when you're stressed out about your car not working properly, friendly and honest!

Had our catalytic replaced in August 2020 and had 6-month warranty. Two weeks after end of warranty the car started running bad so took it to our mechanic. Had some minor repairs done and codes were cleared. Now engine light is on again and car computer says catalytic converter is bad, again. So six to eight month warranty is all you can expect from this place. Paid alot to them, won't do it again.Services: Exhaust, Auto engine diagnostic

i was there yesterday and you guys took good care of me. thank you. i drove all the way from Hemet to have you guys fix my van. We just moved to Hemet recently and I really dont know any auto shop that I can trust here in Hemet. I trust Rosendo, i have known him since he himself worked at another man's shop before he decided to open his own shop way back in the late 80's. Glad he did. He is an honest man and so are his kids. Their business is a family affair, and it is a joy to see all his kids now run his business, they are all so knowledgeable. . I remember when Ed was just a little toddler...anyway guys, good luck in your new location and may the new years bring you much luck and wealth..(By the way, im the man with the rabbit problem, the gnawed wiring on my engine...and my real name is different than the name I use in my FB post) . I cant believe Mr Rosendo with San Juan mufflers is still in business. I had a transmission rebuilt with this outfit a few years back. When I picked the truck up I wanted to know what parts were replaced. I asked the mechanic that worked on the transmission what was done to it and he said he was not allowed to give that information to customers. I immediately was suspicious. When I asked the owner what was replaced he sarcastically laughed and said every thing. I wrote him a check and he refused to take it , he said cash only. I guess that was very smart of this con artist because the truck transmission broke that same day, and I would have had a chance put a stop payment on the check. After the Headache of getting the truck back to this shop and waiting another week, they did get it running. The transmission blew 2 months later. I ended up making other arrangements somewhere else because i was so upset that I lost so much money and time with this S.O.B.. I under stood they are dishonest lairs. Rather than losing my temper, getting physical, and going to jail for assault . I decided to move on.

Definitely a poor place to get your transmition fixed. My family dropped $1300 for a rebuild on an old car, sure that's pretty cheap for a transmition fix but that's still a lot of money. After a couple of weeks the stranamition started to die again, slipping and staying on neutral etc. Luckily they said they have a 6 month guarantee, so we took it back nicely to the shop. A week later picked it up, and died once again a few weeks later. Finally we brought it back with a stern attitude to fix it and the customer service was really poor since we weren't working with money, just the guarantee. Hopefully this is my last visit, just so I can stop wasting both our time. Overall they're nice when you have money to drop, and the fix on transmitions are terrible.

San Juan Muffler Shop Owner and Manager Rosendo left to retire, the management of the Auto Shop was taken and run over by his son who lacks the skills and experienced of running the Auto Shop like his Father Rosendo did before he took over. The shops rating and performance rocket down to barely surviving or becoming closed down for good due to missed Management. Their mechanics that runs the place are inexperienced and poorly paid and trained to do their jobs. Completely in chaos. lately Rosendo came back to work and fixed everything to function well again. Thank you Rosendo for coming back and fixing the mess.Roselio Palma
