TFR did a great job on repairing my exhaust system after I bent the exhaust pipe driving my low slung Toyota Sienna mobility van too fast over a speed bump. They even came in under estimate. Would highly recommend.

Called a few days ahead for a reserved time on a Monday morning . . . I showed up and they said I had no appointment and had to wait my turn for the next free space Other than that, they did an outstanding job handling a mid muffler delete + mini race bullet install. Good price too! Would highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend this shop, fair prices, quality work, trustworthy personnel. Brought our truck in needing a completely new exhaust pipe/muffler. The guys did a custom exhaust and spent significantly more time working on the truck than originally estimated, but honored our original quote range. Very happy with the end result and would definitely bring our vehicles here again. Thanks TFR!

Everybody is very helpful and ready to assist! They do not take on more than they can chew and I respect that! I love the cleanliness of their shop and patience with customers, I would go here before anybody else for my family has tried many places in the bay area and these are your guys! Dave is a gentleman!

Great place! Same day service. Estimate was reasonable and done same day. Although they had to install some additional pipe, they did so without changing the estimate or increasing the cost. Just a terrific place to get your muffler and brake work done!

I had Dave install a muffler and aftermarket tailpipes on my truck and am really pleased with how it came out. He was helpful to guide me away from my first choice which would have been too loud and create annoying drone in the cabin. I ended up with exactly what I was looking for �a more aggressive sound that doesn't upset the family or the neighbors. Will definitely have them work on my truck again if the opportunity arises.

My son's catalytic converter was stolen . David at TFR did a great job getting his car fixed and was more than willing to work with our insurance company. Definitely will take our other cars there when work is needed.

I've been to other shops in Santa Cruz, and none of them hold a candle to this place. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they have always taken their time to make sure that I understand what's going on with my car. They explain without talking down to me and, where applicable, have even shown me what's wrong on my car itself. They've been amazing at working with my student budget and old car without sacrificing the integrity and quality of their work, and when they tell me something is necessary I know that it really is. I can't imagine taking my car anywhere else.

Fantastic service, friendly employees, great rates, can work on literally everything you can imagine that your car might need work on. Also does work other shops say is too hard to do. They took excellent care of our Mustang when it needed lots of work. The Santa Cruz Mustang Club has TFR work on the clubs mustangs. When I had suspension work done, Dave the owner told me my car didn t need one of the new parts because it already had it. TFR could have kept quiet and charged me for the labor and I would have been none the wiser. That tells you a lot about the character of the owner. I trust them, you should too.

David Funk is an excellent mechanic. Very knowledgeable and fair priced. He's always very honest and never gouges like some shops do. Never had a problem here.

Best shop in town. I had the exhaust on my car replaced and it was done quickly, fairly priced, and the guys even cut open the old exhaust to show me how it worked and why it wasn t working afterwards. Great people.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

We put our car there for 4 days , and when we pick it up, we trusted them and forgot the check the car. We signed the paper work, and on the way back we found there s a little crack on the windshield. The TFT guys claimed that once we signed they have no responsibility, but we know they lied to us, and refuse to take any responsibility. They have a very negative attitude when we tent to contact with them and look for a solution, and we had to pay to fix the windshield ourself. Would never go to a place that doesn t respect and keep your car well. Worst experience ever.

I had a new muffler put onto my diesel truck since it lacked one. I was advised to purchase from Amazon in order to save myself a considerable amount, and the owner was incredibly helpful in using spare pipe to cut the cost as well. However I'm paying for it now. My muffler has a terrible rattle and I've noticed a severe decrease in performance since the pipe he used was an inch smaller and is constricting my exhaust flow. On top of this the muffler was routed to close to my spare and has threatened to melt the tread. Now I'm looking at spending another $400 to correct the problem at a new shop.

Very kind staff. They help you a lot. The first time my mum and I went it was a emergency, the car was making weird noises and they assisted us as soon as we got there.
