I've used Rich and Santa Cruz Suspension for years and years ! He's the only person I have ever let touch any of my bikes to say he's great is an understatement. The shop is immaculate well organized and stocks all the top quality stuff you want for your bikes. I highly recommend Rich and Santa Cruz Suspension for your bikes needs. Rich was a client of mine and when I saw his shop I had to have him help with me with my terrible Harley suspension. He recommended Ohlins rears. They were night and day! He then dropped in some progressive springs in the forks and custom tuned them for me. I could not have been happier with his professionalism and skill. Rich is a knowledgeable, patient, and pleasant guy to deal with and I'm looking forward to finding more excuses to work with him.I called him about re-valving and re-springing the somewhat obscure/antiquated suspension from my 2007 Husqvarna TE 250. He happily took the job on and squeezed me into his lineup to get the work done. I had a million questions and he patiently took the time to explain complex terms and concepts in a way that I could understand. Between his expert knowledge, immaculate shop, and kind demeanor, I had the utmost confidence in Rich handling the job.After I got the forks and shock back, I put the bike back together and took it to him for initial sag and damping setup a service that's included with the level of suspension work I had him do. Not only did he get the setup just right, but he took the time to look over the bike and make suggestions to further improve the bike's handling and ergonomics.Santa Cruz is a bit of a hike from Santa Clara, but as a rather meticulous person, it's hard to find trustworthy folks who put the same level of care and attention into their work as I would if I could. Rich is the man! If you need anything for your dirt bikes don t hesitate and just go to him. I originally called to see about getting a chain shortened and rather than charging me for the labor when it s quick he wanted to sell me the tool so I could save money. He s an honest guy with an awesome shop.

Rich is a very helpful and friendly guy!You can tell just by talking with him that he is truly concerned for the health and well-being of your motorcycle. He has talked me out of cutting some corners and I'm glad he did. His shop is in the back of his house and it's well equipped with pro level tools and lots of small parts and inventory. Surprising to find a legit motorcycle shop tucked away in a Santa Cruz neighborhood. Highly recommend for service and consumables like oil and tires.

Only had a conversation and was offered great advice to try before going all in on a full custom setup. Any other place would just tell you to commit and not offer other options. This tells you a lot about a business that cares about customer before putting themself first. I live 2 hours away and will make the trip to get service here.

I called up Rich asking for help on a simple repair because I didn t have the equipment. He was very friendly and accommodating, completing the job quickly. His neat little shop is spotless and I have every intention of returning for other bike needs in the future. Highly recommended.

Santa Cruz Suspension is the only place to go if you want superior service and excellence in precision craftsmanship. Rich is an outstanding technician and tuner and a real pleasure to do business with. He has done many jobs for me and my family's suspension needs in dirt and street. He always takes conscientious care of the details and does beautiful work top to bottom. He is way quick in turn around and an ironclad value. If you want your suspension done right the first time, there is nowhere else to go but Rich and Santa Cruz Suspension because you will be quarantined high quality in every aspect of working with Rich. He is super humble, way nice and just an all around killer guy when you need your moto needs cared for well and, right.

If you want the best, look no further!Rich has been "my suspension guy" for over 5 years and I'm always impressed with his professionalism, service quality, and turnaround. He is always asking me for feedback on my KTM XC-W, and honestly my bike has never felt better with over 200+ hours valved to the woods riding I enjoy best.He is super easy to work with, stocks the essentials, and can get you parts & tools fast.I would not take my dirt bike or adventure bike to anyone else. Highly recommended!

I first met Rich about 12 years ago when I brought my bike to him for a complete suspension re-valve/ re-spring . He was highly recommended by a friend who raced for several years. When I got my bike back is was unreal what a difference it made. Quick turnaround too.I took some time off from riding. Then last year decided to do a rebuild on a 96 cr250. Rich is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to vintage bikes. He got me every hard to find part from his sources around the world. Anything I needed he found. He also gave me advice on how to approach certain aspects of the rebuild. He built some beautiful custom wheels for my bike, rebuilt the suspension, powder coated/cerikoted all the parts, and built the motor.You also can t beat his prices.

Rich is extremely meticulous and knowledgeable. Definitely the best shop in Santa Cruz. The suspension services are as good as any in the entire country. They have a great many peers in stock and can get anything immediately if not in stock. He s the man. Even looks like a younger DeCoster.

I been coming to Santa Cruz Suspension for 19 years for all my suspension needs and services. Everything from full revalves and springs to normal servicing.Rich is the man and is super knowledgeable about all bikes from xr100 s to the newest 450 motocross bikes. Our resident moto suspension god! Rich is always awesome to deal with and will get you on track with whatever moto needs you may have. Rick at Santa Cruz suspension is amazing!!! I have a vintage three wheeler he rebuilt the front forks and rear shock, Plus a couple other items.It s nice knowing when you re out on the trails that your repair is going to hold up, i ve been to Hollister twice and just got back from Pismo dunes ,A great test they worked flawlessly Highly recommend him .Service: Steering & suspension repair

Rich rebuilt my ancient suspension on my XR650r and I felt a huge improvement. His workshop is incredibly clean and organized which says a lot about his work an he is super knowledgeable.

Rich has done wonders for me and my vintage Spanish MX bikes as well as sorting the suspension on my BMW 100/7. He is very knowledgeable in all aspects of motorcycle performance - engines, suspensions, electrical and with his long competition history he knows how to get things done at the track both off and on!!!

Rich is the most knowledgeable mechanic in the area with years of experience working on dirt bikes. Its the best shop around for any dirt bike need such as racing fuels, tires and repairs and rebuilds on any year, make or model and all at a fair price.
