I took my car to Santa Cruz Motorsports on Cedar Street for a Smog Check. I had a very good experience; they were prompt and polite and had the smog check done while I waited. The price was right, and the office where I waited was a clean and comfortable place. I would go there again.

Very appreciative of this business! I have been taking my vehicles to SC Motorsports for years and have always been impressed with their timeliness in completing the work. The staff is very friendly and has excellent communication skills; they do a great job staying in touch throughout the process of a repair, from diagnostic to resolution. This was evident in my not too long ago interaction, where an issue with headlight condensation arose during the rainy season.The local Toyota dealership, unfortunately, bless their greedy little hearts, quoted me $800-$1,000 to replace the entire headlight assembly because of some condensation issues. I visited this place looking to get a brake and lamp inspection for my motorcycle. Unfortunately they weren't able to provide the service, but the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. They called several other shops and even a friend who rides motorcycles in order to help me find a place to get the inspection done. I would absolutely recommend this place to my friends!

A mouse crawled in and died in somewhere in my car a few weeks before starting a cross country trip. SCM came to the rescue! We really appreciate that they were able to resolve the problem in time for our trip!

I chose this shop because it was approved by AAA and it was so wonderful! Their pricing is super fair, they finished their work in reasonable time, and they really made sure my car was all fixed and ready to drive. They are a family owned business and had such a welcoming atmosphere (especially for me being a woman). I definitely believe I made the right decision by coming here. They made me feel very comfortable and safe (both inside their shop and driving my car afterwards), and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs. Thank you again!!!

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. They always give your car a detailed look over even if you're just coming in for an oil change. They make real recommendations about what will and will not happen if you fix certain things. The people are very nice too, the turn around time is very fast, and it is conveniently in walking distance of all of downtown

Very professional nice people . Thank you for fixing my son Nissan 350z we got home without any problem. Thanks also the bonus fixed by resetting the TPMS (i can't believe it, It's an extremely good service that you provide.) I recommend this shop again thank you

Came to get my dead battery charged and was given service almost immediately. I also needed to replace a nut and bolt holding the positive terminal in place, they estimated $15 which was a fair price for the labor/parts.In the end it was free and they called me as soon as it was done to pick it up. I was really impressed with the service and turnaround. I will be bringing them business ahead of my roadtrip/move.

My 2008 VW GTI needed to pass smog and needed much neglected repairs. The mechanic and office staff were effecient and explained the fixes, & parts and the service was above par! Not to mention, I had shopped around and they gave me the best rate for the job!

My daughter had the alternator replaced here. Was charged $325 for an alternator that costs $188. I checked on three different auto parts websites, so that is very accurate. Was quoted $200, possibly cost of labor. Poor college kid had to dish out another $200. Don't go there. Definitely shop around. They do not deserve your money because their work isn't honest. Shame.

I have used this shop for my auto smog inspection for the last ten years, they are professional, honest, skilled and treat my vehicle with care and are ready to answer any maintenance concerns I have. It would be a better world out there if there was more businesses of this quality available to the public.
