The Absolute Best place to get tires and service.Price was as good or better than even the box stores, and the customer service and treatment is above and beyond. Keep your money local at the best shop in town. And I almost forgot to mention: you won't be waiting around all day. I recommend Priors to Everyone: friends, family, and You looking at this google review. I will not go anywhere else.

I had 2 tires mounted and balanced. And they did a great job. They were quick and super friendly. The price was cheaper than most other places. I would definitely recommend them!

These folks quoted me $50., and after mounting and balancing the tire and installing it and disposing of the previous tire, they charged me $50.Period.They even fed me while I was waiting. Definitely got there at the right time!The pictures are of a go-kart and trailer combo they're selling for twenty five hundred.And yes, I want it.And no, I can't have it.But some lucky person out there can!Recommended!

Priors is a great place to have tires mounted and balanced. They were able to order and install the tires I wanted the same day. Unreal turnaround. Great local family owned and operated business. Had me in and out of the shop in about 30 minutes.

Affordable, honest, and fast.I Had a flat due to a screw in the tire. Brought it to the dealership for a patch and they gave a bunch of reasons why they couldn't patch it and said they could only get a new tire. Our company uses Prior's for our fleet vehicles and I once had tire patched on my work truck. So I called John to see if he could help and he got us in within an hour and patched it in about 15minutes. Only $20! Saved us about $250 on the dealer's unnecessary new tire. Thankful for these guys.

Shoutout to Priors Tires - had a slow leak from a roofing nail in one of my tires - drove over to Priors and they got the jack under the car before I had stepped 5 feet away from it. Did a proper patch on it in minutes and had me back on the road. Even filled up the spare which would have been completely useless otherwise. Very reasonable price too. I'll be going there for tires when the treads on this set are worn.

Disappointed. Went looking for good used or inexpensive new tires. Was quoted $185 each mounted. Way more expensive than other places. Then was told maybe cash price would be lower. Said I was willing to pay cash but the boss wasn't around to negotiate so I left. Did I get it wrong? I thought it was called Priors because they sold tires that were used. Huh. Bad experience overall. Was really surprised. Was trying to shop local. Ended up ordering online.

Ran over a staple on the way in from Berkeley, TPMS activating off and on. Brought it into Priors on a Saturday morning, they had me cruising again in less than 15 mins.Apparently it was superficial but they dunked the tire to check and didn t charge me a dime. Checked my spare too just in case.They even offered snacks and drinks for the road! Travis and the team were awesome. Thanks y all!!

Another Shout-Out to Prior's. This time for wheel alignment. My car's so old it isn't even in the "system" but their wheel technician, Luis, dug in and got my car rolling as straight as an arrow. Luis spent a lot of time dialing me in and I really appreciate it. Best of all, the cost was about half what I thought it would be. Prior's is the best.

If we were able, we would give Priors a 10 star rating! We cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service they provided. And these guys KNOW tires with 40 years of experience behind the service they provide. The big box stores cannot not come close to the knowledge and personal care Priors provides. Their pricing is also competitive. We will gladly make the 3 hour drive when our vehicles next need tires - they are that good!!

As a local professional doing business with primarily other automotive shops, I was surprised that I had never heard of Priors Tires before. But I find myself searching for a set of rear tires that I wanted to match the front ones a friend had installed on my own car when I loaned it to him for about 5 weeks. Trouble was, nobody in Santa Cruz carried these tires.Until I called Priors. They ordered them up without requiring payment up front, very nice. I did not even ask him how much, expecting to pay retail and happy to just find somebody who could get them for me same day.Much to my surprise, they billed me a good 15 to 20% less than the lowest online prices I had found.I did not have them installed the tires as I have that equipment myself, so I was just there to pick them up. And I had to wait for a good 20 minutes in the lobby because they were pretty busy at the end of the day wrapping things up with their customers.But it was time well spent for me, because I watched the service manager and some of the service crew coming and going and doing whatever it took to make things more convenient for their customers, all with a cheerful, kind and respectful demeanor.Now that is all very cool! The kind of personal service none of us will ever get from any national chain or big negabox warehouse is a fresh reminder to me of why it's always best to do business with local proprietors.Well done men, you're my new go-to tire shop!

I stopped by couples of tire shop before I found this hidden gem of a tire shop. The two guys working here is very experienced and knows what they were doing. I m a car enthusiast and never have I seen other tire shop patch up a hole like these guys. Other places charge $30 just to plug or patch a hole. This place actually sanded down the place where the hole was and applied applicator. I felt the professionalism of their work. Very polite and great customer service I would highly recommended this place to my family and friends.

So you want to know if you should consider Prior tires? Let me provide you some information so you can make an informed decision. My name is David Meyberg and I am a repeat customer of Prior's tires. The owner, Travis Prior and his team provide prompt professional service at a very reasonable price. His team has experience and they deliver on expectations. They even did roadside repair on my neighbors car so I know they offer this service as well. I am a Costco member and long-time Lloyds patron but based on my experiences, I choose to support a locally owned business when it comes to all the products and services offered at Prior's tires. I hardly ever write reviews and I am a harsh critic but I felt compelled to write a review about this great business because if it meets my standards, you may be equally impressed as well.

I've been here several times they are Super friendly and have great customer service. They really care about keeping loyal customers, this is the number one place I always recommend to family and friends cause I know they will be well taken care of.

I was in town as a visitor and had a flat tire. I called around and Priors had the best price of 6 different dealers. Then to make it all the better, the technician found a nail in the tire so they were able to repair rather than replace. Service, savings, with a smile!

This has to be honestly the best experience I've ever had purchasing a tire friendly personable with a nice comfortable seating area I honestly felt like family and there's a nice area for the kids with color books I was even offered a snack and the price was reasonable I'm from San Jose and honestly would consider driving to Santa Cruz just so I could purchase tires from priors again

Went to have Travis and his crew rotate my tires and ended up leaving with whole new , better looking truck. All in 30 minutes. His crew is the best in the business. Why go to a corporate store when you can support a local company with honest , genuine,Santa Cruz kind of people.

Came in because I was having some issues mounting my aftermarket wheels to my RX7. They immediately found out the issue and got on it and finding parts for me. Super friendly team and did the work within a few hours. Can t recommend them enough and I will definitely be back for tires.

Decent, honest, friendly people. As an out of towner, I went to 2 other garages in Santa Cruz with my flat tire. Both were unhelpful and one diagnosed an irreparable sidewall puncture and was even talking about replacing all 4 tires. John said bring it to me and we ll see what s what . He could easily have sold me a new tire but his excellent staff found the hole and repaired it in minutes. Proper, good old-fashioned customer service; and doing the right thing rather than just making a buck.

What a great experience! I had to have my tires reballanced after they had been poorly done at Lloyd's. It's the 3rd poor work experience I've had there, and I just decided to go someplace else and not return with my shaking car. It was night and day. The owner and his crew took care of me and cut me a deal on checking all tires "to make sure it's done right." And, man, is it right. They were quick kind and thoughtful. It a good feeling when you find your people. This is my new tire/brake shop. I'm going to call them and ask if they do suspension/shocks. Thanks guys!

Knowledgeable, curious, and efficient staff. They were able to rotate tires without an appointment. They have Tesla jack pads onsite and familiar with the needs of electric cars. I will be returning when my tires need to be replaced.
