Awesome Place !! I wish I could give it higher ratings. Trustworthy, Quality, and above all they like there toys !! Big boys break toys so its nice to have guys working on your toys that know what you really need instead of a generic part that gets you by. Great garage experience. Everyone seemed to be more interested in fixing my problem, than pumping the cost up. As anywhere and everything the price has gone up since my last mechanical needs. 15 years ago. Transportation is a necessary expense we gotta bite the bullet. Pearce prices are competitive for it's industry. Great overall experience, very satisfied.

Just moved here, and my first visit to Pearce was pretty disappointing. I've been spoiled by a service provider who has (and cares about) the manufacturer's service interval schedule for my car, keeps all my maintenance records electronically, and can give fact-based advice on which maintenance items are worth the cost, and when.Pearce is a "seat of the pants" shop. The kid at the front desk is friendly, but has no clue what was done to your car, or why. The "tech" who worked on your car will explain what he did, as soon as he's done explaining to all the other people picking up their cars at the end of the day.My previous service provider's office walls were lined with certificates from the manufacturer's training courses their mechanics had attended. Pearce's walls are lined with pictures of someone (Pearce?) racing his motorcycle.Caveat emptor.

Fast Easy and friendly plus cool shop! Prices are much more reasonable compared to other European shops in the area.

I started coming to Pearce Auto Repair a couple of years ago to service multiple cars, mainly my 2016 Golf R. I take this car to the track and after wearing out the stock brakes, I purchased some aftermarket pads and Chris found some nice aftermarket rotors for me and installed both. The rotors and pads worked well for a year of many track days.I no longer live in the area (over 140 miles away) but I find a reason to go to Santa Cruz so I can also have my car worked on at Pearce. I appreciate Chris's knowledge about general car stuff, racing prep and his great customer service! He also always makes time for my car when there's an urgent issue. Most recently, I heard some random rattling from the undercarriage and made an appointment to have him look at it in the same week. He had one of his guys check underneath my car to make sure everything was okay and bolts were tightened.Pearce European has expanded and they now have a tire machine so they can do almost everything there (no alignment yet). I trust them completely and their prices are reasonable. My right front wheel made a loud screeching sound on a Sunday evening after driving back from Tahoe. I called Chris first thing in the morning based on reviews and had it towed to his shop. He looked at my car within 3 hours of dropping it off and promptly called me back to say he couldn't find any issues. He took the time to check both sets of brakes (my primary concern) and do a complete safety check. Moreover he didn't charge me for the time he spent evaluating the car. Chris even drove it around the block again with me to reassure me. I'm grateful for his help and happy I've found an honest mechanic in Santa Cruz if/when I do need one.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Auto maintenance

Above and beyond! My former mechanic misdiagnosed my engine as worn out despite good compression results, and recommended engine replacement at $6K to fix a misfire. I brought my miata to Pearce European, and Nash quickly diagnosed the fuel injector as causing the misfire. This resolved the misfire entirely for just $380. I had that car for 12 years, and I didn t even know that it could run that smoothly. My car was so shaky and lazy, and now omg it runs so well, steady, quiet, and sporty! I m beyond impressed! Road-tripping down the coast when the coolant hose broke. Luckily we were close by and made it to the shop. Matt stopped what he was doing to help us make a plan. We Uber picked up the part and Matt stayed late to install it. Thanks to this shop, we were back on the road in 2 hours.These guys were so nice and helpful and we couldn t recommend them more!

Audi car owners, definitely come here! Chris is an outstanding mechanic, and a honest one at that. Chris found and solved the issue I was having on my Q5, that other shops couldn't figure out. Always impressed how quick this shop is. Will continue to be a dedicated customer to Pearce European!

Chris is super chill, the guys had a huge job from me. Brought in my 2000 bmw 328i and they redid the entire cooling system and fixed a vaccuum leak, needed my car smogged and they got it done. My tire blew up on one of the dudes during test drive and they didn t even charge me for that whole situation, except the tire. super happy with them and gonna go back for the rest of my life, im young.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Great service and friendly. They worked on my re manufactured engine. They gave me feedback on what was done to the car and what will they do next. They helped assist with talking to a company that sold me their re manufactured engine. They are very knowledgeable in their repair unlike Ocean Honda which they were very clueless and scared to work on my engine. My car is a Honda S2000 and I approve and would recommend anyone to take their car to this amazing shop. I haven't dealt with great service until I found these guys. I will take my car to these guys when I am in need in the future.

So my wife and I were on a little trip for our anniversary in beautiful Santa Cruz, when my radiator light came on and car was starting to over heat. I look up a few places that can work on BMWs and found Pearce Auto. Called to all to Chris and he was so helpful and said he would be able to fix it. Took the car over Chris looked and got back to me that the hose was broken and he can get the part and have it done first thing in the morning. I was so lucky I found Pearce Auto. If you need anything done to your BMW or other European Cars this is the place to come. Honest and very knowledgeable of Cars. Thanks Chris!!

I was towed here after having some electrical issues with my Saab. Even though they were slammed they were able to fit me into their schedule and send me on my way! So thankful to have an honest, knowledgeable mechanic- will be returning from now on! Thank you!
