Excellent service from a knowledgeable staff.These guys really know their stuff.I just had them do a full inspection report, plus I upgraded my brakes to a high grade for hauling heavy loads.I received a full diagnostic report with suggestions to think about doing in the near future and a few items to do now.They had it done much sooner than I expected and got me on the road again.I highly recommend this local company.

We ve been going to Mick s for many years. They have always delivered great service for all of our cars (Mazda, Toyota and Subaru). I appreciate how well they communicate and explain whatever is going on. I feel I am being treated fairly.

Great team that works together to solve the issue fast. Savannah who picks up the phone is super patient and helpful. Bought a car from a dealership and immediately noticed weird sounds from the engine. Paid Micks to do an inspection on my Mazda for the Engine and they found worn out belts and my Water pump was about to go out! They confirmed the price and once confirmation was secured they immediately got to working on it. Just picked up my car and the sound is gone. Water pump fixed the issue! Woohoo

My first experience with Mick's Automotive. It was a regular maintenance of my 2020 Toyota PHEV. I was impressed by the friendly staff and the responsive communication of items that needed my attention (and helped me avoid some costs.) Their use of texts and emails to identify was also noteworthy.

Honestly, hands down the best service I ve ever had. My only worry is that too many people will find out about how good they are and it will be hard to book appointments!I ve never had a mechanic send pics of different places in the car where there are problems. This was my first experience using them with an old car of mine that broke down. They totally diagnosed the situation and the interrelated parts of the car that were affected by the problem. They only did what was needed to solve the problem and gave me a list of future things that I could take care of if And when I get more money to pay for it.

I had maintained my Lexus through the dealership for years...until now. I discovered Mick's and am not going back to Stevens Creek again. Mick's did a fantastic job repairing my vehicle, proactively assessed major systems as a courtesy, and returned the car before they promised. Mick's Automotive came to my rescue! My battery was dying when I called them. They said they were busy, but they could take care of it by the end of the next day. When I arrived and told them I had left the car running because the battery was so bad, they took it in and took care of it immediately. From phone call to leaving the shop with a new battery in less than an hour!

Mick's auto and Tracy are incredibly professional, straight-forward, and helpful. I've come to them with many problems and they are always transparent with what my options are. Recently, Tracy helped trouble-shoot over several phone calls an issue with my outback, and gave me honest feedback if my car was worth the expense to repair.

Everybody is so nice, professional, and really good at their job. Trustworthy and sincere. I was driving my 2005 Prius southbound on a Thursday and the big red warning light pinged on - the inverter pump was shot and the transmission would blow if I continued to drive it as planned. When I called Micks and told them that my weekend trip was a bust, they said I could tow the car over to leave it there overnight and the next day they would do their best to confirm the diagnosis, get the new part, and install it before their 3pm Friday close. Even though I wasn t scheduled at all, they squeezed the job in on extremely short notice. I was able to go on my weekend adventure stress free! Thank you Mick s. I will be taking my car here whenever she needs work.

First visit to this shop. Friendly atmosphere, made more so by Pepper, the Catahoula, their greeter. I was very satisfied with the service & the time taken to go over the details of the service. I appreciated too that they checked with me first before doing some needed work that went beyond the oil & filter change.

The friendly staff here resolved the check-engine light on my Prius very quickly and on very short notice. Their goal was clearly to get me back on the road as inexpensively and un-stressfully as possible. I am very pleased and will be back for my future maintenance needs!

I have been taking my car to Mick s since 2018, for everything from oil changes to major repairs, most recently struts and rods. It s an older model, Mazda, and every time it leaves Mick s it runs like a dream! Tracy, Bloo, and Savannah are awesome. They are knowledgeable and helpful always taking the time to clearly explain any repair that is recommended. I never feel pressured. Brian usually ends up working on my car and he is an excellent mechanic. I highly recommend Mick s!

Excellent service. They efficiently fixed my Honda CR-V side mirror after it got torn off. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and gave reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

I brought my Prius in for a log term problem I had been having with my display screen. The staff was very helpful in explaining the process they would go through in analyzing my issue. Once analyzed they provided me with a detailed explanation of the fix including a free safety review of issues with prices and detailed photos that helped me understand their findings. I especially appreciated Savannah who was the go-between the servicemen and myself. She was very patient and helpful with all of my questions. In the end I was very pleased with the outcome.Service: Electrical repair

Tracy (owner) was very helpful and knowledgeable. Gives you plenty of time to discuss the process, systems, product and procedures. It's just like going to a surgeon; you can't see what they're doing but you have to trust that they do the "work" correctly.In my case, I have a supercharger on a truck that many trucks don't possess. Not many mechanics are able to nor have the experience to work on a rare item. I left it in the hands of Tracy to resolve the issue. Mick s is the ONLY place to take your vehicle in Santa Cruz county and his shop is sparkling clean!! Awesome customer service!!!We needed a 12v battery for our 2010 Lexus hybrid. I called Mick's and spoke to Bloo! Bloo was very nice to explain to me everything and he was able to have the battery sent to his shop within 2 hours. I got it done all in one day and it's less than a mile from where I live which was perfect!You also have to meet "Pepper" there mascot who is a very sweet dog I highly recommend Mick's Automotive!!!

It all feels very professional and trustworthy. Mick's diagnosed and repaired extensive work on my car. They were professional, through, and timely. Sending complete estimates, images, coordinating with another shop regarding vehicle history are some of the amazing ways they supported me. They finished a lot of work in record time. Big 5 Stars for Mick's!Since I moved to CA 4 years ago, I had been trying to find a local shop for my 2016 Hyundai. I was referred to Mick's by a local auto body shop. Before setting up an appointment, I talked to the shop. I was gratefully blown away by the time spent with me explaining services, answering questions, and the honesty I received about the services provided and how they manage recommended services. Mick's spent time with me and ample time with my vehicle to make sure it was thoroughly looked at and taken care of. There was open and honest communication, and they were able to accommodate my decisions on their recommended service the same day!Kind, local, honest people who work with integrity and take pride in their service! My experience at Mick s Automotive was extremely positive. First of all, the customer service was excellent, from my first contact with Laurie to the in-depth conversations with the mechanics who worked on my car. They took their time explaining what the issue was and how they were going to resolve it, patiently addressing my questions and concerns. Plus, as a surprise bonus, they cleaned my car inside and out! It was the best experience I have had in my long life of dealing with car maintenance.
