I used to go to the River Street location and no more!! Terrible customer service.Lloyd s Midtown with the manager, Abraham, are the opposite: Fantastic, quick, great customer service. I will only come here for all tire needs!!!!I highly recommend them

Highly recommend! A technician walked up as we got out of the car and asked what we needed help with. We got a new set of tires from a nearby store and were in and out within 45min for new tires!

Abraham and the team saved me today!! I got a flat tire on my way to work this morning in the dark and pouring rain! I have run-flat tires, and originally got towed to Goodyear. They told me they can t do a patch job on a run-flat tire that isn t theirs, so I would have to replace my tire, which wouldn t even be there until later that day. I immediately looked for another location, and thankfully Lloyds was open at 7:30 am when this all went down. Abraham was so helpful and reassuring on the phone that this could be done for me ASAP. I drove over and the guys had the job done in 20 min!! They even checked and filled the rest of my tires. Such care and friendliness! And I was able to get to work in a timely manner! What was an incredibly stressful morning turned into a very happy ending. Can t recommend this place enough!

I have been taking my cars here for tires for many years. Due to a set of circumstances, I actually had to buy my current tires at another store a month ago. Today after coming off the highway at 41st ave, my van set off an alarm that the right rear tire's pressure was low. My immediate thought was to go to Lloyds until I remembered that I didnt buy these tires from them. But the place where I did buy them was already closed and I knew Lloyds would help me. And they did. I pulled in, they immediately came out and we could all hear the air coming out of the tire. 10 mins later, the flat was fixed (nail that had made a puncture but was no longer in the tire, so it is still out there waiting to get someone else's tire, sorry). When I went in to pay, Abraham asked if he had sold me the tires. I told him no but that I have bought tires from him before. He told me my repair was at no charge. I never expected that and told him I was happy to pay for the service but he wouldnt let me. So I am writing this review as my thank you. Thank you to Abraham and all of the guys at the Midtown location that take such good care of all of us. If you havent been to this location, I highly recommend them.

So quickly helpful as always!!!!I'm in and out in 15 minutes with my tire patched. Always so efficient and friendly.And very affordable.They're really a locals favorite.

Sent my tire rack tires to Abraham and his guys. I got there for tires and they put them on and called me in less than an! I got home and checked inflation. Perfectly inflated according to door jamb instructions! I thought I had to drive down to Watsonville for this service for the great price. I was wrong. Save your money and go to Lloyd's!

The customer service here is outstanding. Polite, helpful, personable, quick and dirt cheap. The polar opposite of the experience I got at Goodyear a few blocks away. Come to this shop - it s well managed by reasonable men.

Lloyd s tires on Capitola extension Road have been fantastic. Their team is consistently friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient. This is the only place I will be buying tires in the foreseeable future.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! I made an appointment 1 week in advance, received 2 confirmation emails with date, time, and tires to be installed. After scheduling my work accordingly, I showed up on time to a shop with 5 guys standing around and not a single customer in sight. I was met with completely blank stares and abject apathy, no tires, claimed they knew nothing about any appointments (although my name was in the computer), made very little effort to remedy the situation and obviously had no interest in helping or doing any work. Told me they could try to get the tires I ordered, but weren't sure when, and come back tomorrow or maybe next week. This location does not honor or pay attention to appointments... Go somewhere else.

To me 3 is not a bad score. It's an above average score. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.The TPMS light started flashing and then would stay on after getting the set of tires. The installer told me to drive for 15 - 20 minutes and it would reset. Problem is it didn't reset. So I had to go back in to find out why. Guys were great and tested each tire and informed me that 2 of the 4 sensors were bad. So I need to make a 3rd trip to have the new sensors installed as I didn't have time on my second visit. They used a meter to determine their status. Why not use the meter as SOP. I would have bought new ones and had them installed that moment rather then having to come back to determine that I need new sensors. Just my two cents. Everything else about the experience was fine. Definitely coming back. Now I know to ask them to check the sensors in the future.

Update: STILL 5 STARS!!! I had to go in to get my tire patched this morning. Again, Abraham was super friendly and helpful. If you need tires, COME HERE!!!First time customer and I will be returning! Got a new set of tires today. It was super easy to make the appointment online. When I first pulled up, one of the guys out front already knew what tires I was getting. Inside Abraham was helpful in explaining the prices. I left my car with them but they ended up calling me pretty quickly, and I got checked out just as fast! My car feels much safer now that it can actually grip the road. Thanks Lloyd's!

I m a notorious curb hitter, so I ve dealt with my fair share of tire shops. This is by far the best I ve been to. Jose stayed late to help me fix an emergency nail in my tire. He gave me real, honest advice and was able to patch my tire quickly and effortlessly. I can t recommend this place enough!

I felt cheated here. We got a flat passing through on the way to Washington. Told them we needed a plug until we could find a Firestone and have the tire replaced under warranty and that they were pretty new. They gave us a story about the wall being bad and needing to replace all four of our tires and how they couldn t sell just one to us because the vehicle is all wheel drive. We expressed our reluctance to do so and why but ended up purchasing 4 of their cheaper tires. They kept our expensive tires and sent us on our way. After we left we spotted a Firestone partner a small ways up the road so close that I am sure they knew it was there. It never came up on a google search but it was reachable with even with a flat. I would give these guys 0 stars but that isn t possible.

After hitting a pothole on 17 I was in need of a new tire for my Tesla. I was referred to Loyds from Costco Tire center because they could not get the tire for several days. I went to the Capitola shop and Abraham was able to locate the tire at the Santa Cruz Loyds shop and had it sent over and my tire replaced all with in a hour! Amazing service! Thank you!!

Dropped in to have my tires rotated. Staff was courteous and professional and completed the work in less than 20 minutes allowing me to quickly get on with the rest of my day. Try getting that kind of service at Costco. The last time I was there for tire rotation, it took a couple hours or more to fit me in.

Went in for a Tire Rotation for Tire Warranty, Jose and Abraham were the only staff on site this early in the morning, and i was the only customer, they were able to get me in and out within 10 minutes, sure its just a tire rotation, but ive been to other shops and where such a simple job has taken them multiple hours even if there were little to no customers. So appreciate the quick work, and friendly service. I will be coming here as long as i live in Santa Cruz, thanks again Jose and Abraham!

I took a flat tire in to have it repaired. I was treated with courtesy and respect by the men working there which says a lot compared with the way I have been talked to by other car repair places in Santa Cruz .I will be back to purchase my new tires here.The manager Jose is professional and wonderful.Thank you!!

If you have any tire issues, whether you need a simple rotation and re-balance or all new tires. Look no further. This shop had my full size truck out the door in roughly 30 minutes. I'll definitely be coming back with my other vehicles.

The crew here was extremely quick and helpful! I blew a tired and called them the next day to see if they could help, they said to come on in and fixed me up with a new one in less 30 mins! They also filled up my spare with air and my other three tires.

I took my car in to see if they could find and fix a leak in my tire. They took off brought it back and said no leak. It was losing air about every 7 days and it's gotten low 5 times since then. I tried to tell them but all I got was,(no bubbles no leak. There was one nice employee but the rest thought they were all that. Not could find a leak in a leaky tire. Might be in the wrong biz.

Was looking for a tire shop that would work with me to figure what tire size I would need for my specific application. Abraham went above and beyond my expectations and showed me all the options that were available. Not only did I get awesome service but I also got a good deal on new tires.

The customer service is top notch no matter which location I've gone to. If they have to order the tires they get them in a day or two. You dont need an appointment for installation and for 4 tires it is usually 45 minutes to an hour. Yes, you can order tires cheaper from some online sources, but the price difference has been minor and the great service keeps me coming back
