Fantastic experience at Hayes European. I definitely think it's the best auto shop in town, hands down. I work for a van conversion company in town called Levity Vans and we take all of our vans there if there are any issues, and we always recommend our customers go to Hayes.Recently, I needed some work done to my personal truck, a 2002 Silverado (not a european car) and they were super willing to help me out. Kyle was the one helping me out, and he's super nice, extremely knowledgeable, and very smart. Their shop is so professional! They don't try to upsell you which I really appreciate, and they take their time explaining things to you in a way that I really appreciate. Definitely the only shop that I can take my truck to know for a fact that they are going to do a great job.I can't recommend them enough!

I ve been taking my 99 eurovan to Hayes for the past 2 years and so far they ve done a great job, I ve had regular tune ups and a major power steering replacement that I was happy with. But recently I feel like the shop isn t being fair with me. I had the heater core replaced and gave me a good quote on the price, half way through the job I got a call and they had to back track because of something they missed, that cost me an extra $500. When I got the van back the passenger door lock actuator was broken and gave no option to help fix it. They also forgot to reconnect the AC drain hose and water leaked all over the floors. I had to open the panel and reconnect the hose myself.More recently I took it into check something with the cooling fan, they didn t find any issues and still charged me for the diagnosis, a day after I got the van back the mass air flow sensor went out. They charged me $400 to replace a $60 part after I just paid $400 for a tune up the day before. I m not sure about all this and sad that things went down like it did.

I had a fantastic experience with Hayes European! Their service was top-notch, with a quick turnaround and exceptional attentiveness. The personal touch they provide sets them apart from the more corporate Mercedes dealerships. I highly recommend Hayes European for their excellent service and personalized approach.

After Audi Palo Alto butchered my car (oil change resulted in all the oil dumped in my driveway + other issues), I looked for a local shop. Hayes has been my go-to place since then, for both maintenance and other "aging related" repairs. I definitely recommend them.

We had my daughter's 2006 Volvo S60 towed to Hayes European one night because of a flashing check engine light (misfires from plug coil packs) so it could not be driven. We live 7 hours away from her school and the breakdown happened during finals week and she also needed the car to go to and from school and then travel back home during break. They somehow juggled their schedule and got the work done (and fixed a broken head light bulb) in one day. This was a lifesaver and their repair rates were fair and straight forward. Thanks from a Dad for taking car of my daughter's vehicle while she is away from home!

I'm so grateful I found Hayes European to handle all of my Mercedes service needs. I used to travel to Monterey and San Jose, but not anymore! Customer service (Kyle & Brian) is fast, efficient and friendly. The mechanic's are painstakingly accurate and diligent! Outstanding service many times.Brian Williams solved a major starting problem on my Rolls since he had mastery of the Bosh injections system.Coordinated frame and mechanical issues on my salvaged Benz SL Car now runs great. Referred me to a quality shop to fix a SRS problem. They made it happen. I broke down late on Friday, July 1, right before the 4-day weekend. I drive a 26 year old BMW that has a wheelchair carrier for my chair. The mechanic I've been going to for 20 years was in the hospital and his shop may be permanently closed.From the way she was acting, I thought it was probably the transmission. Called one place but they were closing and wouldn't be able to even look at my car for a week. I asked who they would send their grandmother to in this situation, and they recommended Hayes. I really lucked out!Had my car towed there and Kyle actually called me during the holiday weekend to let me know that the transmission needed to be rebuilt. I asked a bunch of questions, and he called me on July 5th with answers, a quote and an approximate timeline.My car now has a rebuilt transmission and is running great. It was ready when he said and cost exactly what he quoted me. In addition, I found everyone there to be helpful, friendly and totally professional. And, very important to me, it is totally wheelchair accessible. Thank you, Kyle and Brian.Since my mechanic is retiring, I'm both relieved and overjoyed that I've found a new shop I can trust that does quality work.

I ended up here after thinking my car was burning oil turned out JL had just put the wrong oil in but Brian and his team ended up going through the car top to bottom and taking care of a few other issues along with changing all the fluids, and now my x3 runs better than it ever has, with 120k miles and no signs of slowing down. Their professionalism and pricing is in line with most as most Bay Area Euro shops, but their vast knowledge and genuine fandom of German cars is probably why they have so many loyal customs. I live in South Lake Tahoe but will only bring my cars to these guys from here on out. 10/10.

These guys are awesome! They fit me in on a walk in Monday morning and got me on the way quick! They have a great shop and a friendly and knowledgeable staff. I'd trust them with any make or model Euro car!

This comment is regarding my 2006 TN1 Dodge Sprinter. Hayes European is a VERY technical automotive repair service. First they have the ability to analyze failure to the component level correct and repair at a very affordable cost. I ve brought this TN1 to Hayes twice, on short notice, with complex problems both times these guys sorted the issues within a day and had me back on the road, with my wallet still intact . they were great i was on a dead line and also needed to store my car for a week and they took care of me and tracked down one of the last starters in existance for my M5 BMW and saved the day so greatful for their efforts and expertise. Very happy with them.

The customer service has been personal and professional at the highest levels. I have older sprinter vans and they can be problematic as they age. Many creative solutions have put my commercial vehicles back in action. They can do everything from A to Z. We had an intermittent but serious transmission problem with our Audi. Hayes took the time to seriously diagnose the problem. What I really appreciate most is their honesty - they were willing and able to fix the problem, but advised us NOT to do it because of the age of the car and the cost of the repair . It's not often that you run into a shop that will walk away from an expensive job because it's not in YOUR best interest. Their charge for the diagnosis was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of labor it took them to make it.Service: Transmission

I m from the far East Bay & here visiting. My coolant light came on, on my BMW luckily the guys at Valvoline referred this place. Right away they told me not to worry that they can help me.I was having a near panic attack worrying how I was going to drive 70 miles home in traffic. They ve put me at ease that I m in good hands.They went over ever detail of the work that needed to be performed and gave me a fair price too. I was so relieved that they could do the work right away.I can t say enough good things about Brian and his shop. I just wish they were closer to home so they could be my regular mechanic.

Great experience. They gave me an appointment the next day. I just bought a car and they did an inspection and interval service and smog. Stress free experience. I would recommend them to everyone. These guys will now be my mechanics for the life of the car and when I buy another one. They even put the visit in my car's log book and gave me an estimated date for my next service. Thumbs up.

I do most of the routine maintenance on my 2018 Sprinter but when it comes to critical safety and performance components, I go with trusted service mechanics. The technicians at Hayes European are Mercedes-certified Sprinter experts and they did a great job servicing the front and rear brakes (replaced brake pads, rotors, and sensors) in short order and at a fair price. If you are a Sprinter owner and live in Santa Cruz County, I highly recommend you check out Hayes European for any/all your maintenance needs.Service: Brakes

Yay! No more leaks! They replaced the power steering unit and engine gasket on my 2004 Subaru. It runs perfect now and they couldn t have been nicer. I read all the great positive reviews about their expertise and honesty and that is what I wanted and got. I got an update after my oil service about the condition of my car and I was more than happy to get good news because I had purchased it used. I'll be coming back for any service needed on my car.

Called for an appointment specifically telling them i don't have another ride. Was told to get in at 1400. An hour later the car is still untouched. So i left.That's likely how they d do the job as well so "no thank you".

I have been taking my BMW 550i to Hayes for several years. They are great. In addition to regular service, I take the car to them for diagnostics whenever needed. They are knowledgeable and reasonable and treat my car and me very well.
