Everyone I interacted with was friendly. Along with 2 new tires I needed a battery that they didn't have in stock, but it was delivered quickly and installed same day. Prices were as expected and they told me everything upfront. The location is walkable to downtown so it's easy to go grab a coffee or something while you wait.

This is thee place to bring your vehicle. It's the last place you'll ever have to go . One spot , everything done. No lies, very straight forward people. I can't stress it enough, there's no better feeling then to know your vehicle is taken care of right and I loved that they keep track of what and when to check in so you never have to worry about what state your vehicle is in. Very thorough on providing information and explaining too. Thank you guys so much! One less thing in life to worry about.

They were fast at changing the oil but didn t do things like check fluids or vacuum which other places do and are slightly more expensive. The staff was very helpful and gave good information without being pushy or over selling. The counter needed one more courtesy clerk as the one available was being over worked. He handled the workload well but was being pulled in too many directions. Overall technicians were competent and fast. The courtesy clerk was stellar would have been nice to have the car vacuumed and other fluids checked.

Technician(s) failed to let us know they would not perform the necessary repairs. It took 24 hours of calling them (they did not reach out once) and never once did they come out and actually say they would not repair the vehicle. Had we not completely coaxed it out of the technician during the final phone call before picking it up, I would assume I would still be under the impression that they would be fixing it. Received half-baked reasoning when we picked up the vehicle, that they had still been in the process of checking on parts, etc., when we were fully aware of the complete lack of communication between the person working Saturday and working on Sunday. Customers deserve transparency, and time and money is valuable, as this requires much effort and coordination to take care of. If a repair is beyond the scope of what Firestone is willing to do, clearly communicate this, and in a timely manner- it shouldn't be pulling teeth.

I had a very positive experience taking my car in for service and having my tires replaced. Firestone provided me with excellent customer service and was transparent about what services I needed and how much it would cost. I highly recommend Firestones to anyone looking to get new tires or even just needing to get serviced.

Honest and helpful. The rack and pinion on my son's 2005 dodge ram died on a Saturday and he was stuck in Santa Cruz until it could be fixed. Firestone was the only place that could help him on a Saturday, and had him back up and running by early Monday. They also identified a few issues with the last install (failed after 5 months) and gave a quick fix to his radiator leak. Will go back to them for future auto repairs

The service was fantastic the technicians were so friendly and taught me about my 4Runner. Callie was so kind and on point she runs this place like a BOSS. I got 5 new tires installed and an oil change and alignment. Make sure you get the lifetime alignment. You can get it serviced at any Firestone nationwide. I posted before and after photos.

Great Customer Service given by the Staff. Staff was knowledgeable and my Windshield wiper blade replacements were done in a few minutes by a very polite and courteous Staff member.Thank you and I will be returning for other necessary services that my Vehicle is in need of!

Went in for a simple brake change. Brakes seemed mostly fine. However, as soon as I left the lot and went to roll my window down the sealant came down with the window (pics attached) and then the window had a hitch rolling it back up. If I hadn t super glued the seal and put some WD 40 on the seal I would probably be having to get another service by now (less than 2 weeks later). Additionally, I was just checking my oil and noticed that a couple pieces from my grill are missing to keep it in place (pics attached) I m not sure if it was them but it s fair to assume they had something to do with it. The front desk people seem okayish, but not close to worth it! 1 star, 1 star, 1 star.Service: Brakes

So grateful for honest people working in auto. As a young(ish) female, I've experienced other tire and auto shops in this area that have attempted scams or rip-offs. Luckily, places like Firestone (under new management) exist and I can give my business to people who charge an honest rate for the services rendered.I was in and out today in less than an hour for a change, and was quoted exactly what my mechanic friends suggested I should be :) Much love, Firestone!

From out of town / with family -unexpected had bad tire issue (MUST ) emergency fix: also hard to find tires (not in stock) GINO & Team GOT IT HANDLED LIKE CHAMPS (and ESPECIALLY TOUGH ON A SUNDAY!!! ) even had a problem w/ one of new tires bead & seal -had to order / special delivery (2xs) a 3rd Tire to get my family on the road.

Lazy attitude of technicians, no responsible way of working.It took them 6 hours to change oil on my car that too was not done right !!They over filled the engine oil as a result car kept on showing check engine light.

Super fast inspection. Polite and good price...Scheduling is a little wonky...I was told to show up at 7:00 a.m. when they open when I did the text don't get in till 8:00 and there was a bunch of appointments already scheduled. Perhaps communication should be a little bit stronger within the team.Update September 2023... Stopped in for a safety check in and out in in 20 minutes thumbs up

I had an appointment for a lube and oil change, and sat and waited almost an hour before they took my car in to service. I barely made my next appointment. Everything else was good.

I've been a customer of Firestone for over 6 years.While having new tires installed, recommended service identified a need for rear and front brakes including all fluids.I scheduled the day in advance to verify that they (Firestone) had the bandwidth to have the work�done in a timely manner.� I dropped the truck off early in the�morning and was again reassured that the work would be completed.I called around 2 to check on the progress.� I walked back to the garage around 3 after being told that they had not started yet, but I was next in line.When I got there the truck was on the rack and all the tires were off.I sat and waited for the next 2 hours and noticed that no work was being�done.I asked the tech tending the front desk if they were waiting for parts.The tech started yelling at me that he works 12 hour days 7 days a week and demands to know how many hours a week I work.� He blamed management for poor working conditions and told me to leave.Around 1 hour later my truck is ready.� Apparently, the previous recommendation was wrong and I only needed front brakes.� Also, they didn't have enough time to change the fluids.I currently have very little faith that any work was done, and if so, that it was done correctly.I called the manager the next morning asking to meet him in person so that I could explain the situation.Slightly better response; no apology, but he told me that he was too busy to meet in the morning because he only had one tech.� However I could come in that afternoon after 3 and he would have someone look at the truck.� He also suggested that he may be able to compensate me, but he couldn't work on the truck until the following day.I'm a carpenter and need my truck for work. When my truck is being serviced, I lose a day. I suffer economically and my customers loose a day of progress.So, after scheduling service in advance, complying with recommended service, dropping the truck off before 9 am, I have been verbally attacked by their Rep, didn't have the recommended work done, don't have faith that the truck is safe to drive and have lost 2 days of work!I'll keep you updated on what happens next.

If I could give a minus 5* .....I waited 2 hrs for a tire repair and today woke up to a flat again.Their patch didn't hold.Rude, slow and unprofessional.They kept telling me over and over again that it would be only 10 more minutes.It used to be a great place....Took my business elsewhere today...

Lady who works at front desk is amazing but mechanics are CHUMPS. They promised to put the spare on our car, but we're very dodgy when we came back (after the car was declared ready) and it was not done!, We even offered to pay !

Firestone was supposed to change my tires and aligned them. However, something went wrong on their end and they could not finish the alignment. They asked that we take it to Toyota and then we'd be reimbursed afterwards. They didn't mention that every dash light possible had come on when they were working on it, even said break system failure. We asked them before we left and they told us it was because the system needs to be reset after the alignment, but the car was fine and safe to drive, it wasn't.Took it to Toyota, they did the alignment and the lights were still on. Toyota said it had nothing to do with the alignment and Firestone was responsible for it. So we took it back to Firestone and they said they had to have a specialist check it out. After they got the specialist, they still didn't know what to do and once again told us to take it to Toyota and they would pay whatever it cost to fix it. We have this on a recorded message and multiple text messages.Took it back to Toyota, let them know what Firestone said. Toyota fixed it, we paid it, took the bill to Firestone $4,300 total, plus we already paid for the tires and alignment at Firestone and they didn't do the alignment. Firestone has been giving us the run around for over a month now. The staff at the office were on top of it, but once it got to Chad in the claims department, nothing. Called managers, this number, that number, emails, and still no response. Please don't comment with a generic apology to contact by email, we've already done so.We've taken our cars here for years. Very loyal customers. Never before have we ever had an issue. It's a huge disappointment to know that this company is brushing us aside. We trusted that they would take care of the situation and reimburse us after we trusted and did what they asked us to. "I believe fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." ~ Harvey S. I had an appointment for a very much needed alignment but they were closed due to what they claim to be in evacuation order that has already been lifted. This wouldn't be an issue, if they had just tried to contact their customers who had appointments to reschedule, but now I'm hard pressed to find an appointment somewhere else and I will be out of town for a while, and I wasn't the only one. Wale was there, four other people drove up set, expecting to also be able to go to their appointments so it was not just me. Now I get to have a car that pulls to the right and have extra wear on my tread thanks to poor communication, or really lack thereof

We had just came into Santa Cruz for vacation and our brakes went out needed repair we got lucky because Firestone helped us out! we thought our whole vacation was shattered but luckily it was not they squeezed us in and finished everything even early we even ended up booking another hotel because we weren't sure if it was going to get done but they helped us out, we are ever so grateful for them we got to still enjoy our vacation! thank you so much Firestone!

I only go here because of convenience but lately im getting annoyed. Ask for basic things to be done and they are ignored yet still charged for them. Last time i went in for oil change, wiper blade check, washer fluid and alignment. Technician told me wiper blades were wrong size (their not). Said he filled up washer fluid (they didnt). And alignment was no change (and under warranty). Charged over 100$ for things they didnt even do the only thing done was oil change. Im not sure if ill go here anymore

They put on two new tires. It cost me over $600. No problem there, but they could have checked my back tires to see if they need it to be inflated. Yes low tire light was still on when I left.
