The name has changed from Chandler Automotive Repair to Car and Truck Repair. The two brothers have worked for Mark Chandler for several years and they are still continuing doing the same great work. You need to bring your vehicle or work truck to them and they are also going to have New Tires and repairs too. They are very friendly, professional and they also fairly priced for the work they do. Sorry I don t have any videos or pictures because me and my lovely have been going they for more than 10+ years.Enjoy and have fun.Tony S

Owner diagnosed several issues for free on the1rst visit. When I walked in at closing time to get an appt, owner said " Let's take a look" and fixed one of the problems on the spot. Excellent work. I trust this company.

They are amazing! I took in my car because sometimes when I would stop the car would stall and I would need to reignite it. They did a general inspection and fluid check for free. Then they took it for a test drive and found an issue with the back axle they fixed it immediately and had a fair price. The mechanics ended up finding out the transmission fluid was low and charged me almost nothing to fill it up. I had my car back the same day even though it took 6 hours to repair. Can t recommend enough!

Highly recommend. Professionalism, speed, educational. Left my car at their depot at 11:30pm. It was fixed by 10am the next morning!The customer service was also top notch

Chandler automotive came highly recommended. I am new to the area, and I am so happy to have a great mechanic in the area. They are very knowledgeable, have the clients best interest at heart and do quality service. If they cannot service you, they tend to have several other quality options that will work for your needs.I highly recommend this place to get your car, truck, or van worked on!

Chandler Automotive is a great family owned business that offers great and honest service. I have been taking my cars here for the past 20 years. They are friendly, honest, and accommodating. I would highly recommend bringing your car here over ANYWHERE else in town!

This place is rad. I feel like it's hard to find a mechanic you have a lot of confidence in their honesty. I took my car in after running over a deer, to have them check it out. I thought it was going to be an insurance thing. They checked it out and since there ended up being nothing really wrong with it, they didn't charge me. Even fixed this weird thing that was going on with the battery. Took my car in there for an oil change, it was cheaper than big o. Plus they still do a safety and fluid check. Would recommend. Feel like they're very trustworthy. Which is pretty priceless to be honest

I came here on the recommendation of someone I work with. I have an old girl with 200,000 + miles on her, and they treated her nicely. Super friendly, great service and didn't try to fix things that didn't need fixing. Definitely coming back! Also, this is a small family business which I love supporting

Very happy with service at Chandler Automotive. Honest, reliable and customer focused family auto shop. Had rear battery cooling fan service and new front brakes.Will no longer be ripped off at Toyota of Santa Cruz (they tried to say my 2016 Prius had leaking gasket and were obviously interested in me trading in car). My car is still running great with no oil leak... hmmmm. Thank you ChandlerService: Engine repair

This team is the best team that I ve ever Seen! The honesty is incredible and the quality of work in a timely manner. Also, they communicate and only work on what the car needs. Most mechanics will fix things that aren t broken to make money and they do not do that whatsoever. I have been a customer of Mark Chandler for the past 20+ years. He is a role model of honesty, respect, integrity, and just being a good human. Nate is amazing as well and the whole team! I would highly recommend them more than any other place in this county.

Finding a good and honest mechanic is almost impossible in Santa Cruz County. Mark is the only exception. Providing phenomenal customer service for both my parents and grandparents for more than 30 years, Mark is a hidden gem. 10000/10

I suggest the shop's respndent read my other reviews - I only review places I've been to, & leave full reviews when I have the time/inclination to do so.I had never heard of you, or this shop, until I'd found the shop on Google. I'd seen some good reviews, on Google, for the exact issues I've been having with my car, with references to how fast & friendly this shop was.My sole interaction was when I went to this shop seeking car repairs, & now, of course, this unprofessional response to my leaving 1 star.While I know this shop doesn't actually want my review, but just someone to spew at, I sorely wish someone else had warned me away from this place, so, here's why I left 1 star:We're new to this area (& this coast), & are relying heavily on Google reviews to find the stores & shops we need.My 1 star review was for -*How hard this shop was to find. It's at the very back of a double 'alley' row of businesses, which is packed with everything from cars to dirt bikes to trucks.*the lack of disabled parking (at all, despite the ADA being federal law for over 30 years now)*the outright dismissal of even acknowledging that I was a customer - being ignored, then dismissed & told to go to a different shop*& finally, for the look of sheer disgust on the shop guy's face when he looked up & saw me.Yes, I'm physically disabled. However I've never encountered such a revolting 'you aren't welcome here, disabled person!' attitude from the moment someone's looked at me before.It was not a pleasant experience, one I've never encountered at any garage, or anywhere else, before.It made me wonder how this shop has so many neutral & good reviews.However, seeing this hate-filled, rage induced response to my leaving just a starred rating, I definitely understand why people who have bad experiences here don't leave reviews - they don't need the abuse.Which leaves new people like me completely unaware of the dangers of going here.I would STRONGLY warn other people to avoid this shop, ESPECIALLY if they have any visible disability of any kind.

I've been going to Chandler Automotive for almost 20 years. I've also sent at least a dozen friends who are now customers of his. Mark is the best! Quite possibly the most sincere and genuine mechanic I've ever met. He does great work for reasonable prices and quick turnaround.

When I put the call out for an honest, decently priced and awesome mechanic in Santa Cruz, Mark Chandler was referred to me by people from different communities. Mark is all that and then some. He is honestly a good guy, and has never taken advantage. I've taken my car to him a couple times with mystery issues, dropped it off, and been charged nothing but the bare minimum each time - a great perk when you're a student. Bottom line, he is a great mechanic, especially if you know nothing about cars and have a limited funds.

I've been going to Chandler for at least a year now. They are the most loyal auto repair shop I have ever been to. I have been searching for a good mechanic for the past 3 years (being new to the area) and have gone to too many unreliable places where I have been ripped off or has been a huge waist of time. I trust them completely. They really get to know your vehicle and help you understand what is going on. Will stick with them as long as I am in the Santa Cruz area.

When I got my first car I got my oil change at Chandlers. I went in without making an appointment (I didn t know I was suppose to) and they were very kind and even squeezed me in so that I could get it done.

Trustworthy and efficient - I recommend. Didn t feel subjugated as a woman; chandler was very respectful. Reasonable with my request to test the mass airflow sensor, and charged me accountably! Thanks!

Mark Chandler is honest and reliable. He offers tips and gives you the truth of what's going on with your car. He also suggests services based on last convos. I mentioned to Mark that I was planning to buy a new car when I dropped off my current car to get a window fixed. When I came back to pick up my car, Mark remembered and told me some tips on what to look for and that he does pre but inspections!I thought it was nice, it showed me that he actually listened and respected me.

All I can say is - they're the very best. Thank you Mark and Nate for everything you guys did to help me when my wonderful old car finally died. Thank you for letting it sit there day after day, safely in your care while I sought solutions A-Z. You were so kind to me. I just want everyone to know how incredible you both are - the best!

My husbands very old pick up had a start up problem, which they thought they resolved, but did not, so they want to continue researching it on Monday. But, they also discovered 3 very urgent problems not noticed by another mechanic and fixed those within the day. You do not get much better service than that. They have always been extremely nice and helpful.

I really appreciate how honest and fast they were. I'm driving a used car with no service history, and had some concerns about going on a road trip. They didn't charge me for an inspection when they found out no parts/labor were needed. Will definitely come back for maintenance in the future.

So after a twelve hour nightshift of work, I needed to Trek my son over to a Teen summer camp counseling which he participates in giving his young soul over to other youngsters in the great Santa Cruz community. Got him there safely! Wouldn't you know it car breaks down miraculously (TYJ), right at the UNION 76 gas pump at their gas station Soquel Ave. pumping gas. So I trekked myself on foot over to Chandlers Automotive Repair schedule an instant appointment to clarify & repair. Done same day & I'm straight! Water Pump replaced & Serpentine replaced Cooling System restored tight & right on time.Thank you Mark Chandler & Staff.Sincerely,M&C Viegas Family

Great price, good customer service. Preston was a worker there who is very helpful, friendly, and reasonable. Highly recommend.
