Excellent service: timely work, reasonable cost, knowledgeable staff, courteous owner. They identified and fixed a mysterious problem with my BMW that my (previous) mechanic could not on two prior attempts. Highly recommend!

I brought my car in to have a safety check and some basic maintenance. What I got was friendly professional service from the time I entered the door. Everything felt clean and safe. As I was waiting for the finishing touches I watched how everyone was being treated and was impressed by what I saw. i don't care to deal with car maintenance but my experience was more than pleasant. Just a note, the location is great by the highway. Not only that, I walked all around sight seeing, in the area, lots of things to see and do. I'm taking my car in for a few more adjustments next week. Highly recommended.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my 2012 Dodge Challenger here to have some headers installed after market modification. Anyway, they did a great job. I asked them to do a inspection and they did the most thorough inspection. I've ever had done in any of my cars. I will be bringing my car to them for future repairs, etc

Vic and Ernesto and everyone else at Catalpa are the best in the business around here. I only take my BMW to them and they do great work every time. Fair pricing plus quick, friendly, and flexible service. It doesn't get much better than Catalpa for your money!

I initially went to Catalpa to see about a well module issue and they ended up saving me money by reprogramming the module Instead of replacing the module. I was very happy with that service and took my MINI back in for an oil change. In both instances they exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them for mini CooperThis last visit was to replace the windshield cowling on my MINI. Repair went well, they worked with me to make sure all of my lights were working. I feel very good about the service repairs.Services: Electrical, Brakes, Oil change

This shop was Sold in Feb 2021, and Wayne is no longer the owner. In Dec 2020, I had $4500 of repair work done by Catalpa St BMW on my BMW X3 @ 98K miles (new water pump, 2 new thermostats at radiator and transmission cooler, new radiator, new radiator hoses, new valve cover and gasket, new oil filter and oil change, new oil pump and oil filter housing, new rear brakes and new rear rotors installed, AWD transmission service performed, new spark plugs installed, etc). Unfortunately, the cooling system had problems again, just 8 months later in August 2021, and the new owner was happy to fleece me of an additional $607 for cooling system repairs (another new radiator hose for $98, a new coolant reservoir, a couple hundred in labor, another $130 for a 15-minute oil and oil filter change). To top it off, the new owner recommended another completely unnecessary transmission service be performed (it had just been done 8 months ago). Bottom line, they charge similar amounts per hour for labor as a dealer, charge more than a dealer does for a routine oil change, do not use BMW parts, and the new owner does not stand behind the work or parts installed by the prior owner just 8 months ago. I will not go back again, and DO NOT RECOMMEND them.

My family has worked with Catalpa St Garage since the early 2000 s. The cars we ve brought here included a pair of 1986 BMW L7 s, a 1988 735i, a 1992 735i, a 2011 328i, and a 2017 340ix. Communication is good, and the pricing considering they re BMW s has always been fair. I own a Mazda now, not a BMW, so to be honest I will go to a shop that charges much less since it s a significantly less complex vehicle. However, when I eventually own some kind of BMW again, I will return.

Have been taking our 2006 BMW X3 here for over 4 years when issues arise on this old car. Honest, informative, thorough and fair prices! Vic does a great job of explaining the issues and providing helpful photos of problem areas. For the things I can t fix myself I ll continue going to Catalpas!

This was my first visit there and Vic changed my headlight very quick and he was very professional. I discussed with him the other problems that my car has . Going there next week to find out how much it cost to fix the other problems and I definitely will post another review about my experience. I love to support local businesses but in return they should also do their part to encourage that. Wait for my next post. Thanks Vic

Vic and his team at Catalpa were very patient with an insurance situation I was in recently. They did a diagnostic on my vehicle that was in a collision and provided the reports in an easy to reference fashion for me and th insurance. I had a catastrophic breakdown of my beloved 1997/740i baby. Catalpas got me right in, and started to work. They had a very professional way of showing me exactly what was wrong and the order of necessary repairs. I have now driven my car to Lake Tahoe and back, and the car performed beautifully. I will never take my car to a different shop. They have my business for life. If you are looking for an honest, professional repair shop for BMW'S....Catalpas is the place. I have been taking my car here for 5 years. I had been taking it to the BMW dealership previously. My preference is for independent service businesses. Catalpa was the dream shop. Friendly, ease in getting an appointment, extremely clean and organized facility. The best part of the experience was the quality service. Never a bad experience: accurate estimate, correct diagnosis, definitely less expensive than the dealership, and never have had to return because of faulty service. Catalpa Street Garage LLC is an awesome and quality auto service establishment. I have serviced my BMWs over the years at least since 2016. When my 2015 X1 had electrical power issues and was problematic on the road, they were quick and efficient to sort and isolate the fault, repair, replace and restore vehicle operation. Their prices are quite reasonable considering the current over-the-counter cost of OEM parts and dealership auto service labor fees out there. You guys rock Catalpa!!Service: Auto maintenance

I had not found a decent mechanic for MINI on this side of the hill, until I went to CATALPA.They caught a bunch of stuff that was wrong with the car that other mechanics (even the dealership) missed. And now the car runs amazing.The staff is always super friendly and informed about what is happening to the car, and the automated system they have to track progress runs very nicely.Certainly recommended for other MINI owners, and cars in general.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Auto maintenance

I ve used this auto shop for years and the service has always been stellar. Being a older female trust becomes even more paramount. Catalpa car services has been professional, timely , educational but also informative regarding costs but also preventive measures regarding the continuing maintenance. Better BMW service than a dealership. They allow drop shipments of parts. Also they mount tires and do alignments. Vic has done a lot to modernize the service experience since taking over from Wayne Strong. The shop is very busy as it remains one of the few independent BMW garages in the area. I am a 30 year customer.

They had me in and out in 20 minutes to get me to work on time , and didn t cheat me. They gave me an affordable fix on my car which is very appreciated. Staff was nice too
