This is now my go-to Tire store in Santa Cruz County. Knowledgeable, friendly staff, great service, and competitive pricing. Very satisfied with my new tire buying experience, as well as my previous flat repair and smog check. Will be trying their oil change/tire rotation service next.

Been going to them for many years with good service and reasonable price but my last visit I was shocked as they charged me $195 per shop hour.It had been $120 then they took a 50% increase. .I paid $1250 to replace a driveshaft.

Best mechanics in town! I was born and raised in SC and these guys are the real deal. I've brought multiple cars/trucks here over the last years and Mike, Rick and the whole team here is super solid, honest, hardworking and so helpful! Cant recommend enough

The Soquel Auto Express Tire Pro has been my favorite auto service center for over the last 8 years. Rick always makes me feel my business is appreciated, a priority, and most important. The service team is polite and listens to my service requests. I have three cars including my EV Fiat I routinely bring in for services. Rick and the front desk staff are transparent, accommodating and help find an affordable safe solution to my service needs. Another favorite about AETP is the option for interest free payments. Very poor customer service. I went in for a smog that I had to redo for the dmv. Passed the first time and second time they said there was an issue that may be because my battery was turned off. They said to drive it more. They then charged me. But they didn't even charge the initial price. It was difficult to get information from them about the issue and they were suggesting spending another 180 for diagnostic. Seemed like old school ripoff mechanics. I don't recommend this place and I think they need to reevaluate their business practices.Service: Auto emissions testing

I love the team at Auto Express!I ve been going there for over 20 years and trust them with my car. There was squealing whenever I pressed on the clutch pedal. They couldn t find a problem and I expected that I would have to live with it. It didn t squeal when I drove home. It s been several weeks and it s still not squealing.I also had a check engine light on for over a year (O2 sensor). That is no longer on. I guess I don t have to go over the hill to take care of it. Money, time and frustration avoided.It s so nice to not worry about my car or of being ripped off.If you ve never been to AE, give them a try.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Just had my oil changed, and that s all I do here. Young guy, junior, said on paper, needs tire rotation, and got new tires 1000 mi ago. He then muttered about how my steering fluid was low and my drive belt looked cracked - not on paper. I got home and looked at my drive belt which looked unblemished.I do love their consistent oil change coupons : $30. But don t let them do other work on your vehicle. Take it elsewhere. Otherwise manager is friendly and reads people well. But get second opinions or look under your hood before having them work on anything . Nonsense.

Great consistent service. Oil changes and tire rotation, never have any issue. The staff is sweet and very helpful. The owner is genuine and always smiling. He runs a very nice local business.

I had purchased 4 tires 4 years ago-one had a leak and I thought I would need to purchase a new tire. I am fairly naive about car issues and the service techs could have EASILY told me I needed to purchase a new tire. But they were very honest-patched the leak and talked with me about being sure to get my tires rotated every 5 thousand miles. I REALLY appreciate their service-their honesty and their advice. Had a most wonderful experience here..Needed my 60,000. Mile tune up.Which was done perfectly..I'm completely satisfied and have always sent people here..The owner is also very kind..Not " pushy" just doing thete job!Definitely will return and refer..

Our BMW alerts us on the tire pressure being too low on the high way. We took an exit nearby and run into this tire pro express - being so lucky!!!The guy is just great! Checked and inflate the tire for us immediately without any charge!!! We are so grateful as it is a heavily rainy day!!Thank you and highly recommend

I have been going here to Auto Express for years and I completely trust Paul and his crew. They are very kind, they do great work and they wont do unnecessary work - ever!! They are trustworthy which is a huge plus for those in the auto repair business. They are also caring and compassionate, whuch are unusual characteristics for an auto shop. I cant say enough about the guys over there! Where to start with this clip joint. I went in for an oil change, smog, and needed two new front tires. They said I needed two rear tires also which was really not the case, they had 5,000 miles or so left but as long as I had the car there I figured just do it now. Everything fine so far. Then after that work is done they tell me I need new struts up front and an alignment camber kit with an estimated cost of $2296.58. The mechanic stresses how bad the struts are and how bad the camber is out of alignment and that the new tires will be ruined in no time without this work. The whole thing smells to me so I take the car to my regular mechanic who is honest as the day is long and after his inspection I find out that the struts do not need to be replaced ASAP but I should replace them at 100k miles which is 18,000 miles away about two years for this car. He also noted that I should do the rear shocks too at that point. As for the alignment: In the past 10 months we did an extensive road trip and put 12,000 highway miles on the car and the alignment is perfect, the wear pattern on the old tires was normal, there was absolutely no sign of bad alignment. I am going to steer clear of this place in the future and would urge others to do the same.Services: Tires, Oil change

I have been a customer with Auto Express Tire Pros for years and have NEVER been disappointed. Over the last 15 years I have had 6 different vehicles serviced by them and I have always been impressed with the quality of work big or small. They have always been extremely fair with pricing and afforded me different options whenever possible to fit my needs as a customer. I also lime the fact that they get the job done fast. This place is the best! Thanks to Paul and the guys.

I always like coming here for an oil change! Paul and his crew are great at taking care of you! The drive up is always fast, convenient & great quality! They work on everything here, I recently got my axles done which were long over due. I dropped off my car and service was done within acouple hours! I've been going to this shop for quite a few years and have always had the best, professional service from these employees. They are quick, knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell the difference from someone who is pushy vs concerned and that's why I come back. I would highly recommended, as I have with others about this place. They know what they're doing and they do it very well!!

I needed to get my tire patched. They initially quoted me for the service, but then they found out that I had just moved to California, and gave me a tire patch on the house!So generous and friendly...What a great welcome to CA!

I ve been using Auto Express Tire Pros for over 5 years now. They have excellent customer service, complete the work in a timely manner, and explain the work done in way you can understand.I tried several other mechanic and auto service company s before I found them. But I won t be looking any further.When I had an urgent matter that was going to require more than a day s work, they even loaned me a car to get myself and my soaking wet German shepherd home. These guys are great.

Excellent oil change, fast service. I used to go to Valvoline but they do this annoying thing of taking out the air filter to upsell you and sometimes they don't put it back correctly. This place does none of that.

This is my 2nd review to a business, first one is to my amazing hairdresser :) I started taking my vehicle to Auto Express for an oil change. It s fast, convenient and the experience has always been great. I recently purchase new tires as well. When my check engine light came up, I didn t hesitate to take my car to an auto shop I trust. They fixed the problem and I was back on the road the same day. Without a doubt, I will be going back for oil change, new tires and any other car issues.
