Action Glass is a gem. I called about 5 different auto glass repair places in Santa Cruz & Watsonville and am so glad that I chose these guys to repair the rear electric/tinted/defrost whole-window slider on my older 07 Tundra. Aside from being the second most competitive price, they had the special order window in the next day, installed it within their 4-hour time frame and made it super easy. Pete and Annie are genuinely caring people here.

We absorbed a rock at highway speed that sent a small, fan-shaped spray of glass over the dashboard. Yeehaw.These folks are wonderful. We arranged everything over the phone, and they did the magic with AAA insurance for me. They took me an hour early when my schedule freed up and swapped in a new windshield while my dog and I strolled the neighborhood off 7th.They also found and alerted me to a crack in my oil filter. Love love love to buy local thanks, Folks!

So impressed by this level of work and professionalism. I called on Wednesday and was in by 8am Thursday a new window was installed and picked up my car by 11am. That s unheard of nowadays. Definitely recommend these guys for any of your glass needs.

I had my windshield replaced by Action Auto Glass in August 2018. I noticed a large amount of water in my car at the beginning of the last set of storms we had out here. I vacuumed out 1.5 gallons of water and disassembled my interior to pull my carpets out and find the source of the water intrusion. The typical spots for water intrusion on Subarus are the AC drain line, and windshield cowl drain, both of which were clear. I took my car to the Subaru dealer which found water coming in through the windshield on the driver's side of the car. I verified the water intrusion at home with a garden hose.I called Action Auto Glass to see if we could find a solution and the woman on the phone was very quick to point out their 1-year warranty. They offered no help or solution and didn't even want to look at the car. I took the car to a competitor in the area and he removed the windshield and took pictures of the problem area. He found that there was a 1 inch gap in the urethane adhesive on the windshield and on the car on the driver's side.My windshield was improperly installed by Action Auto Glass and has cost me considerable time and money. I had to purchase a car cover, new carpets, and labor at the dealer totaling up to $700 on top of what I spent originally at Action Auto Glass for an improper installation and over 8 hours of my time disassembling my car and troubleshooting the issue.I cannot recommend Action Auto Glass due to their poor work and bad warranty. Their 1-year warranty indicates that they do not stand by their work. Their competitor in Santa Cruz offers a lifetime warranty on their work.Service: Auto windshield replacement

They had the best price on filling-in a "star" crack caused by a Rick hitting the windshield. Drove in WITHOUT a appointment and they promptly fixed it within 20 minutes. Friendly people, too.

My windshield was cracked and had spread all over the place I knew I had to replace it. So, I did my due diligence and requested lots of quotes beforehand. It turns out that AAG s was HALF the price of competitors over the hill in San Jose! No one else in Santa Cruz even bothered to respond, other than Action Auto. They finished the job flawlessly, even quicker than they had promised. I m thankful for local independent businesses and am so glad I chose this company. Amazing quality of work, customer service, and affordable prices! I never leave reviews but was just that impressed with Action Auto.I scheduled an appointment, brought the car in the next day, and they had it done within 2 hours. Jason got the glass quicker than planned, cleaned up all the glass in my van (no easy task that!), was communicative and responsive, and all for less than Safelite quoted. Safelite couldn t fit me in for 2 weeks, and Jason got it done in 2 days. I d highly recommend him.

This shop is great- knowledgeable, friendly and top quality work. Jason(owner) and Tom replaced a leaky seal on the large side window of my Sprinter van. They were $100. less than a quote I got from another shop. Local, hands-on business. Friendly and efficient. They replaced a windshield on my Highlander hybrid that had been cracked by a stone spun up by a semi tire on Hwy 1. They estimated an hour for the repair, but were done in 45 minutes. The price was hundreds less than the quote I received from a major chain located in San Jose. They even moved a padded bench outside so I could sit and read in the sun while I waited on a beautiful morning. I hope I won't need another windshield replacement, but if I do, these are my guys.

Took my car in a few months back to have my broken windshield replaced. They had me in and out within an hour and were incredibly friendly.Unfortunately at no fault of their own there was an issue with the adhesive and I had to take it in again to be fixed. They apologized and again were professional, friendly and had it repaired quickly. Not only that but when I got in my car my very dirty windshield had been cleaned and looked brand new.Service: Auto windshield replacement

I own a Landscape Construction Business. The windshield on my track loader (aka skid steer or tractor) shattered. - Not exactly a standard glass installation. I called around and only ONE shop would even discuss the project. Action Auto Glass in Santa Cruz, on Soquel Ave at 7th. Annie answered the phone. She was polite, professional, knowledgeable and knew the right questions to ask. I told her I had a unique project, we scheduled a time and she told me when it would be done. Low and behold my phone rang, it was Annie saying, "Your glass is done and ready to be picked up." When I picked it up I had the pleasure of meeting the owner. Great guy, super friendly and he appreciated my business. Wow - awesome experience! I Highly recommend this shop!!!! Price? Totally fair!

This is a year late, but last Summer I had my back glass broken in SF. I was an out of state visitor to CA, couch surfing and in a tough spot with no way to lock my car.This shop was a godsend. They ended up having a used back glass piece that fit my car, and I was able to come in the next day on my way through Santa Cruz. They got it done in under an hour, did excellent work, and saved me about $200 vs new glass. Amazing folks, great shop. Thanks so much!

After meeting a stray rock on a cross country road trip they squeezed an appointment in for me with respect to the time-sensitive nature of my trip. They got the glass I needed and had me ready to go faster than estimated. Very professional and helpful experience.
