I took my seven year old car to Wardell's to repair the seat upholstery and driver's side arm rest which were showing their age. I also asked them to replace some of the steering wheel trim which was peeling. The result is terrific - the interior of my car looks factory new, and is perfectly matched in feel and quality to how it was when I bought it. Carla was friendly from start to finish, and they completed the job in exactly the time frame they promised. The overall experience was 10/10 and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Their communication about process, timing and the estimate process were all professional, timely and clear.

I have an older convertible that needed a new top and some repairs to the leather seats. John and his crew did a perfect job, lightening fast and for less money than I expected. I couldn t be happier with his service. I have a 2019 Mercedes E63s AMG, and am extremely particular about the quality of work performed on my car. Which made me a tad hesitant that the extended warranty I purchased from San Jose Mercedes upon the purchase of the car was going to send my car out to another company I had no experience with. It can be hard to let a $143k investment go to an unknown for repairs.I cannot express how surprised I am with the quality of work performed. I was absolutely sure that the permanent marker stain as swell as the major creases in the seat bolster leather and an abrasive ware mark on the side bolsters would be cause for replacing the seat. That couldn t possibly be repaired back to factory perfection.Well I was wrong. Not only was the permanent marker removed completely, but the creases are gone. Not mostly removed, but gone. The 5 ware mark from getting in and out of the car was also something I was sure wasn t going to be reparable, and that it completely restored to factory levels.Just wow.Will definitely be going back for interior leather conditioning and maintenance from now on.Thank you John, for the high quality standards, unsurpassed customer service and attention to detail that is no longer common in today s businesses.

Carla and estimator staff are very rude. I asked for some modification to car seat upholstery. They didn t want to do it. Instead of simply letting me know, they setup appointment, called me in to tell me that it was impossible to do, in an insulting and intimidating way. If you don t want to take up a job, it s your choice. But, don t be rude and intimidating, and waste people s time. Another car shop happily did an excellent job of what I asked for, so it was definitely not impossible!

I was referred to Wardell Auto by my GMC dealership. The driver's seat of my 2004Yukon needed to be reupholstered. (See the before photo!) Stopped by on a Thursday to get a quote. They said a local shop had the leather available. They would get it sent over and let me know. The following Wednesday they called and said it was ready to install. I was busy that Thursday so we scheduled for Friday. I dropped the truck off just after 11:00am. They called before 2:00pm saying it was ready! Apparently my truck was easy because the final price was less than the original quote! Always like it when that happens!!! They did a fantastic job! (See the after photo!)The staff was always courteous and polite. Easy to understand even on the phone. I just don't have anything to complain about with Wardell Auto. Great job folks!

I had an excellent experience with having a seat cover replaced, from start to finish. I got fairly fast service to make an estimate, I got helpful advice on what the replacement might look like, then Anthony made an effort to do the work fast while I waited, and everything came in under the estimate!

Amazing job and customer service. John is friendly and definitely has very skilled workers, I go there at least twice a year. Unless it's a big job, I drop my car in morning and get it back before 5. My Audi looks brand new every time.Carla is friendly and great in scheduling appointments. I definitely recommend to give your car a good treatment by bringing it here.

These guys are truly top of their class. My camper van s interior was destroyed by a bear and I had shop after shop tell me there was nothing they could do. Finally found Wardell who said they could manage most, if not all, the damage. A few weeks later and we were good to go, everything was handled and looked better than new. It s amazing the skillset the Wardell team has and the whole time my case was being managed by the owner himself. You couldn t be in better hands.

The rats in residence near my little forest cottage decided to eat the interior of my car after I quite unintentionally left a 20 pound bag of birdseed in the backseat, overnight.BIG mistake. John Wardell (Wonderful guy!) and his skillful crew did an AMAZING job on the upholstery repair, and now the inside of my car is beautiful & better than new. Such friendly, professional, customer oriented, confidence-inspiring service, from start to finish. No question I am recommending Wardell Auto Interiors & Tops all around. (Note: 5 stars are NOT enough.) Thank you John Wardell, it was a pleasure doing business with you. The owner, Sam, and the technician (Lucio) who did a great job replacing my interior trim molding, were a pleasure to work with. Great service! Great work! Professional! and Friendly. Lucio went above and beyond by giving me some helpful tips for the care of my car.

this is a very professional shop. this is what you would expect. upholstery is expensive but Wardells did my headliner for my mercedes for less than anyone else and I got better material the original. my headliner looks better than new. great communication and I was impressed with the detail work and I got it back faster than they said. would not hesitate to recommend someone to wardells. thank you again

Needed some work done on my z3 s top, every mechanic I asked, as well as the local BMW center all recommended Wardell s.They did good work, no issues and very quick too!It was more than I thought it would cost but you have to pay for good work so can t complain, 5 star!

John Wardell and his team are experienced craftsmen who excel in every way. They completed the work on time and the results were top-notch. I especially appreciated the clear communications. When it turned out more material needed to be replaced than was first evident, they hustled to order the additional items, and they stuck close to their estimate, even though it took them more time than anticipated to do the job to perfection. It looks like it just came off the factory floor, and this is a classic Mercedes-Benz! I will be going back to have work done on my prized Porsche 944 next!Service: Upholstery repair

Wardell auto is fantastic.This place is as good as it gets folks.I had taken my bmw to two different places before I lugged it down to santa clara (these places were closer to my hometown, which is why I didnt go to Wardell auto at first, though I should have!) Both of these places I took my car to initially were brutal, the first one was the peter pan BMW dealership, the second was AW collision. They charged huge sums (Peter pan was 230 hr!!) but could not fix my car.John Wardell had it fixed up quickly, and at a reasonable price. He's a good person - someone you can really trust, and he is fantastic at what he does. I feel very lucky to have brought my car here.Thanks John!

I am a little late to write this review. My car got vandalized last year and the top had to be replaced during winter time so I didn't put the top down for a few months. When summer came, I tried to put the top down and it did not work. When I brought the car back and explained the situation to John Wardell he said he was going to take care of it. After the inspection, he realized that it was something electrical and nothing from the original fix. He went the extra mile along with Nicholas Xenox from Autonation Collition to get it fix through my insurance. I literally didn't have to do anything. I was so pleased with the service provided by John. If you are looking for the best place to fix your car this is it! Don't look any further. Isabel Posada
