I have been taking my family s vehicles to Shan Auto Service for 5+ years. My wife and 3 driving aged children send a lot of business Singh s way. We have run the gamut on the services we ve requested from the owner, new and old vehicles alike. I completely trust Singh with everything he s proposed in terms of repairs needed for all of our vehicles. We ve been there when his garage was just big enough for 1 vehicle and now he has room for 3 vehicles. I do not give out 5-star ratings freely for anyone. But I would even give 6-star reviews if it was available. Singh is 1) an honest and ethical man/businessman 2) a kind and levelheaded diagnostician 3) a family man. Rarely do I run into a person that I am more than willing I speak freely about and trust. He is fair, prompt, honest, respectful, reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy. Scammy. They are not transparent about the fees they ll be charging before you leave your car with them (I spoke to Jaclyn). Then, after the fact, they try to surprise charge you. They were trying to charge me $195 for having performed no service on the car, only for a diagnostic estimate. My Mini Cooper Sunroof wasn t working correctly and wouldn t close: I came in with an open sunroof and left with an unfixed, open sunroof but they still wanted to make $195 off just having performed a diagnostic. Beware.

Have been using Mr. Singh's shop for oil changes & to fix issues with my 2010 Toyota Prius. He recently changed out my headlights to LED ones. Have always found the prices to be fair & service to be excellent.

Brought my car in for an oil change and a diagnostic for what sounded like I lost my muffler. It had completely rusted through (from years of living in a snowy/salted roads state) and he had the part ordered and on my car from a local place within 24hours. Most importantly to me, he took me seriously, gave a fair price (called a few other places/looked up online while I was waiting to compare), didn't give me the "you need to replace the air filter and timing belt" shake-down, showed me what he found and promised to have it done the next day - perfectly on time. Will definitely be bringing my Subie here for a long time and sending family/friends here too.Services: Exhaust, Oil change

My light show up to worning I have the engine service soon. I google and find Shan Auto service. He help me to find out the problem no waiting time. You will not belive that promblem because I didn't close the gas cap tightly. and he don't chage me any fee. Thank you so much. I will go back for other service.

Mr. Singhhe is best mechanic in Santa Clara honest and universal, and save you money, the best customer service of 10 his 10 I went to their oil change now I am his permanent customer. Mr. Singh is awesome and super helpful! Dropped of my car to get the lower arm replaced and was able to get it back the same day! Great place and reasonable prices as well!

Great service!!! Diagnosed and fixed my car for a really good price. Quick service and best labor charges in Bay Area so far I ve seen. I would recommend it others as well. I was recommended here by a friend, and after getting my car serviced here, I ve decided to recommend to my other friends here as well for the good mechanical services offered. Based on the rating, I was expecting this place to be great. However, I was given the run around about not being able to find the part needed anywhere. This wasted days of my time. I took it to another mechanic who quickly ordered the part and fixed my car at a fair price. I can only assume that Shan's just didn't feel fixing my car was worth it, but didn't want to tell my no for fear of a bad review...

I needed to fix my brakes and called several places but they were closed I called Shan Auto Service and they were able to help me with my brakes problem even though it was almost closing time. The service was quick and efficient. Very good and honest service, I highly recommended this place for any car services!

I brang my Mercedes-Benz 2002 E-Wagon to Shun's Auto Service today Oct /29/2019 and changed oil and fixed breaks replacement and it was cheap and very good. They were very polite and kind. He gave me $30 discount. I was happy with my car fixed. Thank you again.

It's a little hidden place in El Camino Real, Santa Clara. The guy Taran wons and operates the business. I must say He is very skilled and tactful of what he does. I recommend all to visit the place at once.

Shan Auto Service is not licensed through the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair. My experience with them has been a nightmare, I wasn't able to get any insurance information from them to make a claim for the damage done to my car.

Taran is permanent caretaker of my old Cadillac. He has good knowledge of engine diagnostics and he is not pushy to make a sell.
