Best mechanic in the Bay Area! Raul is honest and has fix cars for me and my family for 20-30 years. He s honest and gives great prices. If you go to a chain shop like pep boys or even the dealer they will probably charge 2-3 times what Raul charges for a less reliable job

They will replace your parts with old parts and break the car! DO NOT TRUST RAUL!They steal and break the internal parts of the car!!After working with this mechanic, our car keeps making weird noises! When I checked with another mechanic, he said the original part were replaced with incorrect parts!RAUL is liar and scam! Don t trust them if you love your car

I d been going here since 2015 when I found this little gem. Raul and his group are hardworking, honest and always try and help during emergencies. I would highly recommend this establishment to anybody in need of repairs and general upkeep. First I took my 2002 Subaru Outback there and now I take my 2011 Subaru Outback to them.

Best mechanics in the southbay by far. Been going there for years Raul has never let me down. Honest and friendly. Explains any questions you may have about repairs. Gets very busy but work usually done in good time frame.

I have been going to Raul for 30 years now. I have recommended at least 20 people and they are all still going to Raul for all of their repairs. He is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. He is fast and ridiculously knowledgeable. His prices are cheaper than I can buy the parts and do the repair myself. I can't imagine what I would do if he ever goes out of business. Suffer like everybody else, I guess.

Tired of waiting for appointments from Toyota dealers, so came here after seeing reviews.Service is pretty good, was honest about what is required and what is not. Will use this place going further

Quick, reliable and high quality service. Raul, the owner/manager is very honest, experienced and an expert. This place has never recommends work/repair more than required. Also the cost is pretty reasonable (one of the cheapest I found in Santa Clara).

Great work and cheap. Raul is last of the honest small businessman. Except he won't let me organize his place. Look past the clutter. This is old school get it done right and at a fair price. He will honestly tell you if you need something done or not. Usually half price of what a dealership will charge you.

The other reviews weren't exaggerating, Raul is great. Not only did they fix my engine thermometer with no fuss, they explained what was going on and gave me an honest answer when I asked if it could wait a little bit. When I came back, they fixed it and gave me some good advice about my car. I feel like I can trust what they tell me, and as a female that's worth its weight in gold (so many try to take us to the cleaners). It's down the little ally, tricky to find the first time.

It is unfathomable to me that Unproffessional Auto has gotten a single 5 star review. Raul is dishonest, a liar and has no mechanics that have any kind of experience working on cars. I paid for rotors that were not replaced on my Honda as well as motor mounts that were never replaced. Unfortunately, before I found this out, I brought my Corvette in to have the clutch replaced because he assured me that it would be no problem and the price was reasonable. When I went to pick it up, I took it for a test drive and the mufflers were not even bolted down. When I got out to check out the rattling, I noticed the front end damage that occured while in their possession. I took it back to have the mufflers bolted and scheduled to have the damage fixed as I needed the car that day. I immediately noticed problems with the traction control, so, I took it back because he was responsible for the damage and I needed him to fix it. Long story short, I had to have it towed out of their 3 months later, unfinished, bald tires that had been new, fuel pump that was 1/2 way replaced that I had to personally procure from Autozone because "he couldn't find one" and it was never finished. It makes me so sick to my stomach that I ever trusted this man with my cars. He will be seeing me in court. I would strongly recommend others to avoid this mechanic. The one thing that I will write a bad review on a business is if the are dishonest. I took my Subaru to them to have a rear wheel bearing replaced. They replaced the wheel bearing and returned the car to me saying it was good to go. When I took the car home the ABS light came on and remained on.I called them back to say the ABS light was on they started to make excuses on how difficult it was to change my wheel bearing. Red lights went up in my head and because I'm fairly handy with cars I decided that taking it back to them would just be more money and excuses.Fast-forward and my wife and I have moved to a place where I can work on our cars myself. I pulled off the wheel to take a look at the ABS sensor and found that the ABS tone ring had been broken and was glued back together in pieces (they broke the ring when trying to beat off the old wheel bearing).If they had simply told me when doing the repair that it broke and would need to be replaced, I wouldn't be writing this now. The fact that they omitted the truth from me shows complete dishonesty and they do not deserve any future customers with that type of behaviour.I will also add that I'm fairly confident they didn't even bother to test drive the car after doing the repair as the would've immediately noticed the ABS light come on. This is an utter lack of professionalism.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We LOVE and TRUST taking all of our vehicles to Professional. Our entire family has gone here for many many many years. We know that our latest generation of drivers will be safe and cared for dealing with Raul and his guys. I would never entertain the thought of going somewhere else. There is so much respect all the way around.

Raoul is good, very trustworthy and definitely economical. If a fix is not needed he will let you know. Been getting my car serviced here for many years. The place doesn't have an office or any place to hang out and wait. So it has usually been a drop of and pick up later thing for me. Happily recommend Raoul.

I ve been going here for the last 7 years. Even though I moved to the city, I still drive here for my car repair. Raul, the owner, has the best prices in the area and is honest with the repairs that are or are not necessary. If something doesn t need replacement, he ll tell you instead of trying to charge for something that you don t need.

Only con: Raul didn't seem to want to talk on the phone; first question was "can it drive?" Followed by "bring it in and we'll figure it out." (Did this with another customer while I was in the shop, too). Otherwise, absolutely excellent experience.Dropped off a car around 11am monday to get battery cables replaced, but Raul was confident he could replace just the terminal; I told him to give it a shot, since it'd be about $500 cheaper (would have to special order cables). He got to it that day, and I had my truck back by 5:30pm, with super reasonable pricing. Also didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need. Great shop, great prices, great timing, great service.

I came to replace the engine belt and check the engine and Raul did a great job. Afterwards he even took a qick ride with me to verify that car runs smoothly and there's no issues with clutch/transmission. Now it's my go-to place for a car service.

I've been going to these guys for 25 years possibly longer. Raul and crew has always done a great job on our cars. My parents, my uncle, my cousins and including myself.They do their job. Never had problem with them, thanks guys.

Very helpful and honest staff. First time and asked for a regular maintenance+oil change, new transmission fluid and fixing the SRS light that wouldn't come off. They completed each service promptly and it came out way cheaper than other places (even online listing). Really service oriented.

Raul is the man. My coworker told me to go to him for my AC and smog check. Well, during the AC recharge one of my radiator hoses slipped. Obviously it was a coolant nightmare. Good ole Raul put it back on for me and even topped the coolant off before even telling me about it. Coming to him next time 100%.

Have taken multiple vehicles here, every time parts were installed wrong, or they simply didn t know how to fix the problem. The main guy didn t even know what gapping a spark plug was this shops one big unorganized unprofessional mess that will guarantee you having to come back to fix their mistakes or go find another mechanic.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repairServices: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair
