I recently had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional service at Precision Motorworks. From start to finish, the staff demonstrated an unparalleled level of professionalism, making my visit both enjoyable and stress-free. The employees were personable, taking the time to listen to my concerns and explain the repair process in detail. Their friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident that my vehicle was in good hands. Not only was the service quick and efficient, but the technicians at Precision are well skilled, diagnosing and fixing the issue very quickly, ensuring that my car was back on the road in no time. Overall, I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional service I recieved. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of auto repair services. I don't plan to go anywhere else now.

I met Brandon the shop manager at a weekend social event. I liked his truck and he casually mentioned that his shop had done the work and I was looking for a shop to do work on my Bronco Sport. He graciously offered. I showed up, his team took the keys and when I returned the work had been done, the car had been tested and adjusted and it was ready to go. The price was very reasonable. The shop is impeccable and I have found my place to get all my performance work done for the foreseeable future! Definitely a place you can trust, and definitely a place where you can get the highest quality work done on your vehicle!

Jeff and Brandon, a father and son team, completely are amazing. Not only are they completely knowledgeable about the cars they work on and help build, they are terrific human beings on top of that. Their employees are hard working and get most anything done in a day. They stand behind their work and parts. Precision Motorworks supports the military, and in my book, being a veteran myself, is the whole package. I drive from Monterey just to get all my cars worked on by them. They are the only ones to touch my car in the bay area.

I recently visited Precision Motorworks, and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with their exceptional service. I needed assistance with installing the license plate on the front of my Jetta, and they were more than willing to help me out.The staff at Precision Motorworks are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but they are also incredibly friendly and approachable.They also offer a wide range of services from routine maintenance and repairs to custom modifications.I highly recommend Precision Motorworks to anyone in need of automotive services.

It was my second time visiting Precision Motorworks to transfer the warranty on my APR tuning.The transfer process was smooth during my first visit, but the APR server didn't save my information, so I revisited the store to fix it.Brandon was always a kind, helpful person and an expert in cars. He redid the whole process, upgraded my TCU tune to the latest version, gave me a test drive to demo the latest tune, and answered my questions regarding using and maintaining the car without asking for a pennis.I would like to give 10 out of 5. It's a pleasure to talk to Brandon, and indeed I learn a lot about my vehicle.

Like having a good friend who is pro mechanic and owns his owns shop.The staff are knowledgeable, super friendly and you feel like you re amongst close friends. Very honest and open with their insights and guidance.They live the experience, place is full of tuned Audi models, so I knew i was in the right place. Jeff and Brandon were both super helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. I have a go to shop for all my needs now.Service: Auto engine tuning

Great "extra mile" customer service...Took my Audi Q5 in for 65K maintenance with request for additional attention to trunk lid not opening all the way. Trunk lid issue was thought to be caused by struts on either side which must be malfunctioning. Solution was to install new struts, however the pricey new struts did not solve the problem. When I brought the car back in for further repair, the real problem came to light and was resolved -- which did NOT involve the need to replace the struts. The shop owner acknowledged my disappointment in having to purchase unneeded parts and adjusted my invoice accordingly. They also delivered the car to my house with trunk lid in perfect working condition within a few hours of having dropped it off.These guys are awesome. They're good at what they do and provide excellent customer service.I will continue to bring my car there for service and will highly recommend to friends!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I love coming to Precision Motorworks. I have been coming here for 3 years to service my car whether this is for an oil change, leaks, battery, or engine improvement for repairs. Jeff is super nice and always puts the customer first. His staff is helpful and they provide a detailed assessment of your car before proceeding with repairs. Overall I will continue to visit this shop since they are honest and are not in business to scam anyone. Thank you, Jeff and staff!!!

I have been to many different shops in the area, and Precision Motorworks provides a service that is above and beyond the rest. Quality work in a timely manner. Jeff and his son Brandon have great attitudes, great communication, and a skilled staff. Love this shop and they awesome service they provide!! I've taken my 2007 BMW 328i here a few times, with only the best service and care in town. Jeff and his team know what they do, and do it very well. Jeff is very upfront, direct, and keeps it real! I'm very happy to have found a great shop for my car and look forward to coming back for tuning and high performance modifications. Highly recommended shop!!

Coming to Jeff's shop has been the best thing that happened to my car! They always do a high quality job at a fair price and they are always on time. They do a thorough analysis of the car's condition, inform you of your options and allow you to make the most sensible choice. And Jeff and his colleagues are the most awesome people to chat with :) I trust my car to no other shop since the last 3 years.

If I could give a greater rating than 5, I would. On a cold rainy Monday the technicians fought off the cold to diagnose, analyze and recommend the correct repairs that my car desperately needed. Several Audi dealers and other mechanics could not fully comprehend the issue with my Audi S4. The Management and the Workers compared notes, specs and techniques to quickly offer a extremely precise understanding of my 2013 S4 Repair Process. The Best part was in addition to top of the line Aftermarket Parts to improve the Driver's Seat Experience, they offer OEM Parts to complete the repair. They offer solutions that match then exceeded my expectations.They Follow Current California Emissions yet can improve our everyday use.Yes I felt like a Rock Star on one of those TV reality shows. As said before an Awesome Crew that take Pride and Ownership over the work they performed. 5 PLUS STARS

Love taking my cars here. Jeff and his son Brandon always get the job done right and are expert mechanics. Jeff put a stage two supercharger on my vw gti a long time ago and the kit had 300 parts. I was impressed.

Precision Motorworks is a breath of fresh air compared to the typical car repair experience. Superb service with professional staff who care about your car and you as a person. Prompt turnaround and fair pricing. Detailed notes and car inspection with mobile-friendly communication. Good humor and banter among the staff. For a good story: ask Jeff about his return to acting.

If there was a rating below 1 star I would give it.I contacted Precision Motorworks a couple of weeks ago about an issue with a vehicle we have. That vehicle had been modified, and we wanted to bring it back closer to a stock configuration. At first the owner of the establishment Jeff Sowell was helpful, he explained the issue and even recommended parts to replace, he offered to do the job for $170 in labor and $85 for a tune. With this information, I ordered my parts, and upon their arrival I setup an appointment to have the vehicle worked on. On appointment day is when everything went awry. I dropped off the car, Jeff was not in the shop at the time, one of the employees by the name of Brandon handed me a work order for $530 or so. I simply responded to him, that Jeff had given me a verbal quote already, and it was because of the numbers he quoted that I was back. Brandon may not have had the authority or know how to make the adjustment, but he made a change to $340, so I signed the repair order to get the work started, but I requested to speak with Jeff. Brandon said Jeff would contact me upon his return around noon time. I never got a call from Jeff. The next day, I went in to pickup the vehicle, and I wanted to say hello to Jeff and just to inquire about the amount on the invoice. I was met immediately with shouting and insults from Jeff, who also went so far as to call me a Mother F***** just for simply asking a question. So I politely said "Thank you" and got the hell out of there. I am 67 years of age, he is easily half my age, the level of disrespect given to a customer none the less is unacceptable and absolutely unprofessional. I will never recommend this shop to any of my colleagues, Jeff is absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever done business with.

Jeff is great! He runs a very efficient, quality conscious operation. Their work is absolutely top notch and their prices are very reasonable.One of the best things is that they don't overbook their shop. You never get that call at 3:30 in the afternoon saying that "they are waiting for parts" and your car won't be ready for another day. They take pains to make sure that they have everything needed before they schedule your appointment.Once I started going to Jeff, auto maintenance became something I just don't have to think about, they notify you when things are due and keep track the condition of your vehicle so you don't end up sitting on the side of the road somewhere.You can pay more else where, but you won't get better service.

Precision Motorworks has taken my MK7 GTI from stock to stage 2+ while providing the best customer service I've seen in the industry. Don't be turned off if Jeff seems a little blunt as this shop is dedicated to customer satisfaction and quality, not sugarcoating words. Come here for the peace of mind that you got the best service for your vehicle at a reasonable price.

I've taken my Golf R to Precision for years, and I have always been happy with the quality of work. However, I have often been dissatisfied with poor communication or attitude when interacting with Jeff and other members of the staff. When asking for technical advice or recommendations, I have gotten conflicting answers, or I was treated like my questions were wasting the staff's time. I have had more positive experiences and less expensive labor at other SJ shops, such as Sprint Motorsports.

Just this past week I needed a service and repair of turn signal fixture on our 19 yr. old Camry. Once again, this company gave us the best possible service...always far and above beyond what you might expect and no comparison from former past experiences. Recently Brandon did a great job with my dead battery situation when Jeff was gone. As always, they keep our "ancient" car in good condition .So fortunate to be a client of an honest company.Marjorie Banko

If you want your car fixed correctly and you don't want to be "taken" on repairs that you don't really need, don't waste your time and money going to the dealer or to other independent shops go to Precision Motorworks.I drive German vehicles and was continually frustrated trying to find a shop that was competent, honest and reasonably priced. Dealers are typically competent and usually honest but grossly overpriced and other independent shops that I tried were more reasonably priced, but were incompetent. Then I found Precision, they are every bit as competent as the best dealer, they are honest and their prices are reasonable.Chris and Jeff run a great shop. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else.

I wouldn't even consider taking my car anywhere else. This is a great place doing fantastic work regardless of if the car is high end or not! I feel like they treat me like family and they strive to do a little extra every time! Best car mechanic shop I have ever used in 27 years living and driving in the area. Cars: Porsche 911, Honda Civic, Ford Pinto, Infinity G35, and Mazda 5. The gentlemen at Precision have been taking care of my cars for years and I recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who ever asks including my own grown children.

I have been taking my Mercedes R350 to Precision for about 4 years now and they are, without a shadow of doubt, the best auto service center in the Bay area. Superb customer service, tremendous work to keep the car running perfectly and great value for money. I trust them 100% and blindly follow any recommendations they make in terms of what needs to be done on the car. Would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone looking for an alternative to the over-priced service centers at the dealerships

I took my Audi to get both the APR ECU and TCU stage 1 tune. It was quick and painless, and talking with the guy in the office (whose name I didn't catch unfortunately), you can tell that they really love working on cars and talking about all the modifications you can make to them.I'll definitely be bringing my car back here in the future for any tuning or yearly services I need!Service: Auto engine tuning

This shop is amazing. I brought in my Audi S5 for an APR Stage 2 Dual Pulley upgrade and could not be happier with how my car feels. The guys there really really know what they are doing and the work they did was top-notch.

1st time customer.I came later in the day and I could tell they were all tired, I was planning on bringing my 2015 audi a4 back the next day for an APR stage 1 tune. But the gentleman I talked to said pull right on up and we'll do it right now, it'll take about half hour. I came back half hour later and my vehicle was dialed in. The gentleman I spoke with, Jeff, took it for a test drive around the block and then Brandon schooled me down on how to switch between the different tunes that were installed....stock, 91, 93, or 100 octane. Super knowledgeable about what it is they do over there, answered every question I had,then saved me 1k on an unnecessary trip to the dealer. All in all A+ experience. Definitely the real deal concerning European vehicles, highly recommend.....And the tune, came out beautiful, With a 12 month warranty, you really cant go wrong, thank you guysBIGUPS!!Service: Auto engine tuning
