Highly recommend Nelco German Auto Repair, exceptional and trustworthy service. Took my BMW X3 to Zach after going to a dealership, and found Zach s service is more pleasant, efficient and professional. Zach did careful inspection on the BMW, and provided professional service without pushing unnecessary repairs. The issue was fixed swiftly and got my car back within a day. The clear and honest communication, detailing each step of the process, professional skills, makes them highly recommended for reliable auto repairs.

Zach was greeaat. He installed rear airbags on my BMW X6M same day! I came by late on a Thursday evening. He told me to bring it in the morning on Friday. By 1pm Friday my car was ready and driving like new again! THANK YOU ZACH!! Super honest prices, super clean work! Only mechanic that I will allow to work on the X6M. Im extremely happy!!

This guy is good! Smart, knows his cars, and reasonably priced. Tells you the issues in a language you understand. He kind of rules .unless you prefer overpaying and being underserved.I ve had two Porshes I brought here. Superb service.

Zach was very nice to squeeze me in his schedule on a Saturday for pre purchase inspection. He is a knowledgable mechanic, and was very honest and descriptive about his findings. Very good experience, and would highly recommend him if your German car needs anything.

Zac is one of a kind for customer service, timeliness, knowledge and cost effectiveness. He knows plenty about Mercedes models and is always great to work with and only charges for work performed.He listens to what the customer haa to say and is great at providing options and alternatives for repairing my vehicles.If you want a great mechanic for your Benz he's the guy !

Zach is the man. Honest, knowledgeable, really cares about his customers and more than fair. Iv'e brought 3 high end vehicles and I'm glad each I did each time...We need more mechanics like Zach. I had an excellent experience at Nelco German Auto Repair. Zac got my Volvo running better than it had in years, and he was very communicative and timely with the repairs. I appreciated being kept in the loop about all the repair options and potential costs, both for the immediate needs and for things I should keep an eye on for the future. What more could you want beyond expert mechanical skills and wonderful customer service, all within a reasonable time frame? I'll be bringing my car back!

Zach was very friendly and knowledgeable. Came in to troubleshoot a wheel bearing issue on my 2014 BMW X1. His price was competitive. He seemed very honest and trustworthy.

Incredible service and the price is the best in the bay area. My car had a bunch of issues and Zac was able to diagnose all of them quickly and get the parts needed to fix it. If you have a German car, this is the place to bring it.

Zac was fantastic and was able to diagnose and repair my check engine light in a super speedy 2 day period. He explained everything that needed to be repaired immediately, and listed a couple "probably should get fixed soon" items; in a super easy to understand and professional manner. If you have a German car in the San Jose/Santa Clara area, I would absolutely take it to Zac! Will definitely be brining my business coming back to Nelco.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Needed a timing belt done on my VW. Not only was he able to do it extremely quickly, his prices for parts and labor were great! He is very knowledgeable about German autos, great communication/updates and have a very clean / organized shop. Don't hesitate taking your car here!

Zach is an amazing honest guy with a lot of knowledge about german cars. He was not only on time but kept me updated on the process and pricing of parts. Very reasonable and fair pricing. I do suggest Nelco Auto repair to everyone

The dreaded check engine light on my 4runner needed to be addressed. Luckily, I found Nelco was located just down the street from where I work. Zach, the owner, was very honest and informative. He explained the problem to me terms that I could understand and gave me options regarding the repair. Once we decided on a plan, he ordered the parts and fixed it the next day.Highly recommended...even if you don t drive a German car.

After I had been given the run around by BMW and treated with a poor attitude I went in search of a garage and found Nelco. They have excellent customer service, they explained everything completely honestly, and Zach, the owner, is incredibly friendly and polite. They made me feel like I mattered and I was not just another customer. The place seems really new but already very put together.

Zac is one of the few actual mechanics. If the car mechanic were Pokemon, Zac would be a legendary Pokemon, and if the mechanic were a stone, Zac would be a diamond. 1. He doesn't rip off. 2. He really tests the car and diagnoses it to find a problem, not just pretending. 3. He explains very well and knows well about cars, not just pretending. This was the first time I did not feel wasted money after fixing my car. I respect his honesty and his passion for the car.

I feel fortunate to find Zach. Very honest and professional person. Zach manifested himself as a thorough thinker, no jumping on conclusion, before he goes through all possibilities to root cause a problem.And he offers very reasonable price.He even went extra mile to loan his car so I can catch my meeting on time.

This is how a mechanic shop should be! A one man show where the owner, Zac, really cares and he s also the one working on your car. He listen to what you have to say and he s thorough in asking question to narrow down the possible issue. If he finds something wrong he ll show you what the problem is and work out with you the best solution also considering your budget.Most shops don t care what you think, the guy at the front desk doesn t even touch your car and the mechanics in the back just throw parts at the problem till it goes away (often not for long) and you end up with a hefty bill. At Nelco I found the old school attitude of wanting to understand what causes problem and how to fix it.Even if the house specialty are German cars, I take both my Jeep and F-150 and always drive off with my issue resolved.If you love your car, this is your place.

Nelco is the best, most thorough shop I've ever dealt with. They are professional, experienced and fairly priced. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend working with Nelco German Auto. You'll be happy you did.

Zach sure knows his stuff. Had a engine issue that dealerships can t fix and misdiagnosed. Friend recommended Zach and a few days later issue was fixed. Price was also reasonable.
