My son is away at college in the Santa Clara. He BMW 128i shut down while driving on the freeway. Short story is I found MB German car service after calling some BMW specialists in that area. Took the leap of faith after talking to the owner by phone several times. He was very patient with me and did solid work on the car at reasonable BMW repair prices. Very knowledgeable about the car. Good communicator. . I have confidence the car was repaired correctly and at a fair price. I highly recommend this garage and would return for service in the future. Provides caring personal attention that no dealer can, and for significantly lower prices. Oh, was able to get the car in just a couple days after me calling him. Big bonus.

A friend recommended the service to me a while ago. Mike is super knowledgeable and professional about BMW. He helped to replace the cylinders. The price is reasonable. Strongly recommend.

Mike is an amazing German auto mechanic, a great gentleman to work with. He has been servicing our Mercedes E350 for many years, from his old shop to his new shop, Mike always does a great job at a reasonable price!

The owner is a great honest guy who always explains what he s doing, gives me options, and is up front about pricing. He s fixed my car twice now and it runs as well as it did when I bought it- at 110k miles!

This is my third time bringing my Audi tt here. Great customer service, trustworthy mechanic. I got my radiator replaced in less than a week. If I ever need a fix I ll make sure to come back.

I had been seeing Mike at MB German Car Services for several years while i had German cars. Then in 2002, I bought one of the first new MINI cars. I was happy when Mike agreed to service the MINI. Although the car company is owned by BMW, the MINI hails from Britain. Mike is a pleasure to talk to and his prices are reasonable.

I had my car "repaired" at this shop for oil leaks. The owner charged me hundreds of dollars and the leaks were not repaired. I now found that he never fixed any leaks when I went to another repair shop. The other repair shop said he just replaced a gasket and it would require to remove the engine to repair the leaks. I am upset about the dishonesty and do not recommend this shop to anyone.

Mike is a great knowledgeable guy, very honest and trustworthy, it came to the point where he took care of a brake warning that came back after his service with no charge. I'm confident I'll bring my car for my next service.

Was driving home to San Francisco from San Jose when my 2015 Volkswagen GTI started smoking under the hood. I stopped in Santa Clara to check it out as my check coolant light went on. After filling my coolant tank with fluid, it started leaking all over to the bottom the car to the ground. I'm so thankful and appreciative that I was near MB German Car Services, and they were able to take a look right away, diagnosis where the leak was in less than 15 minutes. The repair only took about an hour and a half. I highly recommend MB German Car Services! They saved my day! :)

I have been bringing my VW here for two years and have only positive things to say. The mechanics here know their stuff and won't rip you off. I had a good experience a bringing in my father's neglected E350. He was able to diagnose a oil leak from a torn cheap quick lube oil filter. He also suggested preventative maintenance without being pushy.Looks like a one person shop, but Mike is friendly and knowledgeable.

I had problem with cooling system performance. I have done diagnostic at dealership for about 140$ and they found code: P2181. ( need to replace thermostat and ECT coolant temperature sensor) they quoted me for 780$ for everything. I did research on Google and lucky have found MB German Car Service on El Camino Real. I called Mike and he sad he can do it for 350$ with everything ( labor+parts) which took me by surprise ;-) I have left my car for about 7 hours and everything was done. Keep in mind that diagnostic is for FREE at MB German Car Service which is awesome. I did save about 400$ I could have saved more doing diagnostic at this place ;-)Really recommend this place !

Trusty Mike takes excellent care of our beloved, aging 2000 Mercedes E320: whatever the problem, he makes it run smoothly again...great turn around time, at a reasonable price, and it's here in Santa Clara too! Totally recommend!

Thanks, Mike! Quick diagnosis, complete transparency on the problem and the proposed fix. Speedy repair for reasonable cost. I definitely recommend Mike to those of you with older Mercedes; mine is a 1985 500SL which is a gray market car. Usually hard to find someone to work on them.

Just the best ! He does his work with integrity and is very smart and hands on ! Able to root cause the problem effectively and fixes it like a pro !Getting an old Beamer fixed has never been easier and smoother :) And I love how he says phir milenge to me since I am from India :)
