Kim's Auto Body provided exceptional service. I discovered them through Yelp and Google reviews and wanted to share my positive experience. The body repair was top-notch, restoring my car to its original condition. Eric was outstanding, ensuring timely updates and completion, even securing a reconditioned OEM part for me. They handled estimates with the insurance company and rental service efficiently. I highly recommend Kim's Auto Body for quality repairs. Kudos to Eric and the team!

A friend recommended Kim Auto Body to me, and I'm very happy with the service I received from them. James was extremely helpful and ensured that everything went smoothly. Despite the other insurance company not responding promptly, he made an effort to push them so that I could get my car back sooner, which was greatly appreciated. I was also worried that the insurance would only accept aftermarket parts to fix my car, but James was able to upgrade to manufacturer original parts, which made a significant difference. While the car accident itself was unfortunate, my experience with Kim Auto Body was pleasant, and I highly recommend this shop.

My Tesla M3 got rear ended. It was almost a total. James at Kim s auto handled all the insurance claim and ensured quality parts and repair was done no compromise! Definitely recommend Kim s auto.

Let this body shop handle everything while you relax!From start to finish, the experience was effortless. Even when the other party's insurance company tried to skimp on the repair costs ($3K), James stepped in and ensured that the damage was properly assessed, resulting in a $17K supplement. What I initially thought was a minor dent turned out to be more significant, and the entire rear trunk door had to be replaced. The quality of the work was exceptional, far surpassing my expectations, especially when compared to my previous experience with an "official Tesla service center".James and his team seamlessly handled the rental process as well, making it an entirely hassle-free experience. Enterprise arrived at the shop to pick me up, and I conveniently returned the car directly to the shop upon completion of the repairs. When the other insurance company became troublesome regarding the rental extension, James promptly intervened and resolved the issue.This was undoubtedly the most exceptional body shop experience I've ever had. For Bay Area Tesla owners seeking the best possible repairs, I can recommend this body shop without hesitation!

I found Kim s Auto Body on Yelp so many years ago. I chose this shop because I know that it was not easy to have all 5 stars for all customers, but I saw all people gave 5 stars. I was so right. My car got fixed several times time to time, and this is the BEST repair shop I have ever known. I referred all my colleagues and they were very satisfied just like I did, and thank you for me for the referrals. People at Kim s Auto Body don t just repair cars, but they take care of all customers seriously., and know what customers service is really about. I feel so blessed to have KIMS AUTO BODY for my repair shop. I cannot say thank you enough for making my car like brand new again and your great services!!! Thank you so much James and Charles.

I would have gone with this body shop based on the reviews (and although it's out of network for my insurance) but Eric is SO rude. He does not communicate well with the insurance company, does not take feedback in and hears what he wants to hear. He first said, the insurance will provide some check to me, confirmed my insurance that I will be moving forward with Kim's when I did not even confirm that! Denies saying all this on a recorded line and says he called me to inform me of my confirmation when I was the one calling him to clarify that I don't feel comfortable moving forward with Kim.Eric is just a nightmare. I bet the actual owner and other professionals are great.

Kim's is Fantastic. I have worked with Charles and Lupe. The entire process was seamless (I have needed their services 3 times for my Tesla) and the work was top notch. The coordination with my auto insurance (State Farm) went without a hitch. The little extra details were great too, like washing and vacuuming my car before returning it, and coordinating with Enterprise Car Rental for drop off and pick up. Hopefully I will not need them again, but if I do, I will choose Kim's without hesitation.

My experience with Kim's Auto Body (James) has been nothing but FIRST CLASS! It all started back in Sept. 2018 when my fathers brand new (less than one week old) Lexus RX he rear ended someone. James understood the situation fixed the car like back to the factory spec.Fast forward Jan. 2024, I got rear ended 2024 BMW IX and sure enough I didn't look else other than Kim's Auto. He kept me throughout the entire process and car looks flawless. I can honestly recommend anyone needing body shop. Thank you again!

Service was exceptional! I worked with Eric and he made sure my car was properly fixed and also set up my rental. I decided to use them and I don't regret it. They did great work on my car! Even cleaned it outside and inside, which I was really happy about. I would strongly recommend KIMS AUTO BODY to friends and family. My car looks amazing!

I ve used Kim s Auto Body twice now. The first time was when someone hit my car and there was minor damage and the second was after a quite serious accident. Both times they were absolutely fantastic. They dealt with the insurance companies.They handled everything that needed to be handled so I didn t have to. After the last accident the car wasn t drivable. The tow truck dropped it off and they worked with the insurance company, submitting all of the photographs and getting the insurance company what they needed. The car was declared a total loss and they worked with the insurance company to get it hauled away. I never had to do anything other than authorize the release of the car after it was declared a total loss. I can not recommend Kim s Auto Body highly enough. I will definitely use them again if I need their services.

I recently had the pleasure of taking my car in for repairs at Kim s Auto Body in San Jose, California, and I can confidently say they exceeded my expectations every time! After a near-total accident that left my car in shambles, the team at Kim s worked wonders! They not only restored my vehicle to its pre-accident condition, but also replaced my passenger mirror seamlessly. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality were evident throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Kim s Auto Body for their outstanding service, professionalism, and exceptional work. Five stars all the way!!!

So far I had multiple peace-of-mind worry-free experience with Kims Auto Body. I especially had an awful year 2023 with 3 different minor/major incidents, one for my Honda Accord and 2 for my Audi Q5. I could see that the team including James works at their best to make sure their customers are satisfied in terms of quality, time, communication, and cost! Really appreciate the team for all their help this year and I strongly recommend anyone who's looking for a bodyshop!

When my car required body work due to an accident caused by another car, their insurance company s choice of body repair shop was a well known National company. I couldn t seem to get an appointment for an estimate. I tried Kim s Auto Body in Santa Clara and they were more customer friendly. They dealt with the insurance company and repaired our car to our satisfaction. I would recommend them to a friend.

Kim's Auto Body is awesome! Their work is impeccable. I have used them multiple times over the past couple of years. Just recently they repaired the body on my 2016 BMW. It looks like new! [note, no incentives were given for this review]This is by far the best body shop I have worked with. Customer service and mechanics know exactly what they are doing to give you the best products and price. They didn t offer any extraneous repairs for the car yet the final job looked excellent. See pictures of the front bumper, fender, and headlights before and after the repairs. They also installed new projector beam headlights and LED bulbs at my request. The lights make the car look even better than before the accident. Hoa and Charles, you are great at what you do. Keep up the superb work. I highly recommend this auto body shop.

The first thing I did after picking up my car is write this review because this shop is legit. They did it right. No corners cut. This should be your go to body shop if you're in the area. No doubt.Rear Bumper. One week. Props to Eric for taking care of my car.

I had troubles with fixing my broken side mirrors for a long time, due to the difficulty in finding parts. A few attempts including the dealership didn t provide any value other than saying to me that I should contact later.However, Kims Auto Body provided me the value proactively! They offered the courtesy temporary fix immediately, and actively followed up with finding parts. The price was also very reasonable. I really appreciate their full engaged service!

I got a front bumper paint correction (repainted) for my Porsche Cayman. The work they did is just fantastic - perfect factory colour match, and my ten year old car now looks brand new. They also returned my car with free paint correction on small areas, and polish all around the car. This is the best customer experience I've ever had with any service or product ever! Even if you think the quote may be slightly above the rest, just go for it! Highly recommended.

I just had a small scrape, but they cleaned the entire outside and inside of my car. It felt like I picked up a new car. The price and service were excellent. Hopefully there isn't a next time, but I'll definitely go to Kim's if there is.

Had a minor accident and got my front bumper scratched. James was very helpful in getting an estimate for the repair and stepping through the whole process with no pressure about any choices I had to make. They did a great job repairing and cleaning inside and out. 10/10.
