Had a really good experience here. Austin and David were both super cooperative with consultation and spending time with the customers. I could really tell David knew what he was doing when it came to tinting when he pointed out several things from my car I recommend getting your tint from David. Also, very pleasurable to work with Austin during the consultation and pricing I would get my tint done here again without a doubt.

They are professional scammers. Initially gave me the $99 quote for full car (5 windows), I cleared out my schedule and went there. Then they asked me to pay $180 because they hadn t counted the front door windows as part of the 5 windows. Which means, they meant only the back door and rear windows by the full car tint. I would rather pay $200 to honest people than scammers.

Dropped off my SUV yesterday, staff was friendly, and fast had my vehicle ready with in a few hours. Picked up noticed lots of bubbles on passenger window. But I was told the bubbles were normal and would disappear in 3 to 5 days. When i took a closer look at the windows I noticed the rear window has small debris between tint and glass. Seem like the windows weren't clean properly before installing. Some of the edges aren't sticking to the glass. I'll give it a week and post pictures to compare. Been coming to Jet Black in Santa Clara for couple of years now. Ed was great help, he listened to our needs and what we wanted to get out of the tint on our 2024 X7. The job turned out great, I'm very happy with the way the car looks.

I had a good experience with this business. They honored a coupon I wanted to apply online but couldn't. When they did the consultation they explained the different levels of tint and the prices and advantages and disadvantages of each material. They got the job done same day. I think that some of the customers doing negative reviews here don't understand how tinting works. For example, customers complained about bubbles immediately after the job was done without understanding that it can take a week for the tint to settle the bubbles out. Also, some people complained about the door being closed when they were receiving their consultation. I don't know the reason for the door being closed, but I suspect it's because if you have a medical exception for your tint, privacy is important to customers. Speaking of medical exemptions: They have a poster advertising Advanced Dermatology's services. I used their services to get my medical exemption for window tint before I ever heard of Jet Black Tint and I had a good experience with them, so I recommend them if you need a medical exemption for darker tint or all-around tint to help with your medical condition.

Had to go 3 times even with an appointment. 1st time in I had an appointment and they were 5 cars deep. Why does it take 4 hours with virgin windows? Even flights offer drinks and snacks for that amount of time. Ended up spending $300 for their $99 one car special....1st time with appointment, there was a 4 hour wait.2nd time waited 3 hours for 2 windows... Nobody could tell they were tinted.3rd time - everyone stared at car for 1 hour,4th time - paid again to go darker, took Uber back and forth,,, 4 hours... And still not dark enough.. whatever.

Edit: I took my gf s car for tint and she loves it. Al help us with everything.Is my second car I tint with this company and I can say that they get better and better. My appointment was at 10 and my car was ready at 11:20 Price is fair compared to others. I ll definitely refer my gf and friends here.

0 stars. Avoid this place at all cost. I believe this business to be dishonest and one that hides behind a "no refund" and "lifetime warranty" policy. They advertise first-class work and they will treat your call with total respect. In reality it seems they do quick low-quality work and then hide behind the above policies. The tint did not go all the way up on 3/4 windows and had lots of bubbles and creases.Google won't give me enough characters, but long story short they did an unsatisfactory tint job and DAMAGED my less than 24hr old car. After weeks of back and forth and some unreturned texts, I asked for a refund and the part to get service elsewhere. How could I be expected to trust them with my car again? When I arrived for the part and refund, Austin told me there are "no refunds". I asked where that policy was posted and he replied "Where is it posted that we offer refunds?". Very condescending way to talk to a customer and not the quality of service advertised. He then continued to repeat the "lifetime warranty" Jet Black Tint offers (which is also not posted anywhere). I said I don't trust this company with my car since they damaged it before and the previous work done was unsatisfactory. He then remarked that they ordered a replacement part for me like it was some kind of favor. I asked one final time for a refund and he refused.Service: Vehicle window tinting

I always go to them for my window tints on any car I have had . Always the friend-liest and even has netflix while you wait . FAST service! Can be pricey but definitely less pricey than other places! My tints are legal by the way the cops have told me in the past. Still dark but legal you can see me out the front window still :)

Terrible service. Got all windows tinted on my Subaru. First time the work was done there were scratches, bubbling from incorrect cleaning, misalignment, and peeling. I went back for the windows to be fixed and they blamed the cuts on the computer and they would cut the film manually. I called to make an appointment and said I would wait for the car, but they overbooked and instead of taking 1.5 hours for the work to be done, they took 5 hours to finish. After getting my car back, there is still misalignment (they computer cut it again) and the manager demanded that the work is 100% good quality and he would not repair. I am not happy the service and quality. I would give 0 star rating if possible. Price is cheap, but definitely go somewhere else to tint your car.

I hit up this spot for the deal they offered on the website. I called in, and they gave me a same day appointment! I pulled in and talked to AL, who is super knowledgeable about tints. I wanted to get ceramic, but he showed me this Nano Ceramic and how it keeps the heat out, I said, "Put that on the truck!" He gave me options and a fantastic price! I highly recommend coming in and talking with AL. I got the 3 back windows,the two rear and the front windows, and the windshield done. It's came out super clean! I have a 3/4 ton pick up (full size), and I tow my 5th wheel around the country to camp and sightseeing. During the summer, that heat gets up in the 100s, and now, with this heat reflecting Nano Ceramic, it's going to be so much cooler in the truck, and my wife won't get sun burn on one leg lol

TLDR: These people could not do the job the first time much less second or 3rd. The lifetime warranty is BS as Gilroy manager says that they don't cover scratches which they do, and according to the paperwork I have and they cheap out on you by not even cutting the tint to match some of the black parts of the glass and hope you don't notice, Didn't even bother to clean up fingerprints. Maybe for the common person, they don't care as much as I do. And everyone else seems to have a jolly ol time. But I'm going to request a chargeback soon on my card, since they also wanted to charge for re-installation if I were to take it off again... Won't recommend this place to nobody If you like your car and care about quality.I really can't understand just how unlucky my experience has been... I tried these guys out cause they had a good deal (so I thought) and at first were very nice and professional, explained to me how the job was going to be done and even offered a few recommendations. Nice. No problems there. Told me there was a lifetime warranty with no questions asked and no refund. Red flag 1. (Also no where on the paperwork says no refunds allowed btw) When I get the car back day of, I go to inspect it before I drive it off the lot and it wasn't cause I didn't trust them at the time. It's because I'm picky, and that's on me sure. But there were such obvious and frankly ridiculous flaws in the job done that I was pretty baffled and tried to be patient. Scratches and literal dust trapped in the tint that you can feel with your hand. I asked since the tint was just put on and I arrived literally 5 minutes after I got the notification that the job was done I asked if they could just take it off and give me a refund on the spot because the problem areas were nearly on every panel and the tint was still fresh so in my mind it should have been easy and a done deal. After an employee spoke to the manager, he told be that they were booked and unavailable until that next week and I just wanted the job done right the first time around. So he offered me to go to Gilroy and I did. After speaking to the Gilroy manager, he told me that they will make it right for me a couple days later. (there was another guy there having warranty work done on his car, Red flag 2) Turns out their windshield guy ain't there so I have to book another appointment to Santa Clara AGAIN to do the front windshield. And when I got back to my car there were scratches on my paint that clearly were not there before as I just bought the car and pre-inspected beforehand... surface scratches that I can buff out no problem but still a little aggravating nonetheless. And here I am a week later. I waited for the bubbling to disappear and followed their exact instruction not to roll down the windows and park in the sun and whatnot but still the same problems.

For the time I waited and results I m very disappointed. Waited 3 hours for bubbles on my tint and windshield. Also they didn t even care bout cleaning up the mess they made on my car. I m getting rid of this tint and going to a actual professional. What s funny as well is they have you pay first before the job is complete. Management is terrible as well. I spent a lot of money on my vehicle, I m definitely not taking it back to them, I do not suggest taking your car to these people, they will waist your time and money. Jet black tint is a joke

Bought $99 deal on the website. My wife came here and Daniel wanted her to close to door to speak with her. Very uncomfortable.The deal is called $99 full car tint. they snuck in the fine print that it only includes five Windows which is fine. They also sneak in that it starts on the back windows. Which was the issue. I only need the front 4 Windows done. (Not windshield)my issue with Daniel is he asked my wife to close the door. the previous gentleman that was in with Danielle did not have the door closed so it was very uncomfortable to her that he would ask the door to be closed with her. She stressed that and he was very unprofessional.I've used this location before. I highly recommend avoiding this place now.

Just got it tint. See some bobbles. Schedule fix. I will update results.Still bobbles. My brother did the same tint at Fremont. They did a good job that why I picked this place. The reviews look good also. I regret this decision.

First off, I was happily surprised that they were open on Sundays until 7pm.. which is pretty late for these window tinting businesses.The pricing was perfect.They were quick! Very good quality. I have been to two locations and both times received fast, great quality service. Couple things though. The girl in the main office who takes appointments need to get off her high horse and start to at least try to sound friendly and not like I just stole her 15 minutes from Facebook. If you have older car like I had 1999 Camry prepare to pay more even though their website says promotional pricing doesn't apply to exotic and custom cars only. Never it had mentioned something about older cars. It's not even about the $35 bucks difference but the principle and correct information. Obviously when you come there and already paid you don't want to go through the hassle of the cancellation. Other than that Freemont location takes first place, Santa Clara second.

I have older chevy truck that needed tinting all around. I called the number and a woman by the name of Christina helped me schedule and appointment. She was very helpful and informative. Went to the Gilroy location and i must say it was a very pleasant experience! There staff there was very informative and kind.
