I recently had an experience at Frontier Ford in Santa Clara that started on a slightly rocky note but ended with exceptional service and a positive outcome. I want to thank Ryan, the service manager, and Rosalie Tran, my service adviser, for their outstanding follow-through and commitment to resolving the issue I had with my F150 transmission repair.Without delving into the initial disagreement, they truly redeemed themselves with their unwavering dedication to making things right. Ryan and Rosalie went above and beyond to rectify the situation. When I raised my concerns with Ryan, he displayed remarkable professionalism and understanding. He listened to my frustration, acknowledged their responsibility, and was committed to resolving it satisfactorily. His agreeable attitude and prompt action were genuinely refreshing. But it was Rosalie who truly impressed me throughout this entire process. She stayed calm, guiding me through every step, ensuring everyone completed the necessary documentation, and following up on the progress. Her attention to detail, proactive communication, and genuine empathy made a difference. I felt reassured and supported, knowing how Rosalie personally invested herself in resolving the issue.I am beyond pleased with the quality of work done on my transmission by the Frontier Ford technicians. My F150 is running as smoothly as ever, and I couldn't be happier with the results. To Ryan and Rosalie, thank you for your exceptional service and follow-through. Your exemplary actions have turned around a potentially negative experience and restored my faith in the dealership. Your dedication to customer satisfaction is unmatched, and I highly recommend that anyone seeking reliable and diligent service visit Frontier Ford in Santa Clara.

I hate to be this way but Ford Service is a joke. I called and scheduled and appointment for a TCM recall. They tell me I might have to leave my vehicle for 6 weeks. I say ok and when I get there, they say they don't have the parts and would need to leave it up to 6 months. I ask why they don't just say this up front so not to waste my time going there. They have no common sense answer. Going to complain to their company somehow. Maybe go to one of those station advocates. JOKE

Boy....sure says something when over half of their reviews are 1-star. Anyways, my experience here was absolutely disgusting. If you don't know already, Ford has issued multiple extensions on their "Customer Satisfaction Program" for replacing their faulty transmission control modules; meaning that if your TCM fails, Ford is liable to cover the costs of replacing the TCM for you. Knowing this, I called Ford to ask if there was a way to verify that no previous owners had gotten the TCM replaced. They said they could only see what had been done at their own shop. When I called back a few days later to make an appointment, they stated to me over the phone that they could see no previous owners had gotten the TCM replaced (oh, thought they couldn't see that....caught in the first lie), so replacing the TCM for me should be no issue except the time to await the TCM if it wasn't in stock. When I brought it in, I noted the TCM was failing and needed to be replaced as per the "Customer Satisfaction Program", and there was also an outstanding Door Latch recall that also needed to be resolved. My car sat in that shop for over two weeks, while Leo Caudillo provided me with lies saying he could not get the TCM replaced until my car was inspected for all other issues first.Being that it's a 2013 Ford Focus, my car has other smaller things that I did not yet want to invest the money in fixing. I only wanted Ford to replace the TCM, as they stated they would do for free. Leo stated this could not be done until the checklist was complete. The first thing on the list was a shift actuator, which he quoted fixing for $761. He also noted to me that this would likely not fix the issue, as he had another customer that went through the same experience, decided to get the shift actuator fixed, but that did not resolve the issue. I literally said, "So you know and I know that it's the TCM, and you're even telling me that replacing the shift actuator will not solve the problem, but you are still saying it needs to be done in order to get to replacing the TCM?" He confirmed, and I then asked him how many items were on this list. He laughed, and said he doesn't know, but that even if he did know, he would not be able to tell me. Disgusting. He also stated that, by the time we get to the TCM, the most recent backorder time for the TCMs was about a month and a half. He also stated that they could provide me no courtesy vehicles while my car sat in the shop (by his timeline, for a month and a half at minimum).I decided to take my chances and move it to a different Ford dealership. (Side note: when I went to pick up my car from Frontier Ford, I had to wait for over 15mins because THEY COULDN'T FIND MY CAR.)The Ford in Sunnyvale stated they are no longer accepting any vehicles with transmission issues, since they are so backed up with transmission issues. Um, huge red flag, Ford.I moved it to the Ford on Capitol, where they still tried to stretch the truth a little, but they replaced my TCM within a week, no problem. AND they fixed the door latch recall while awaiting the paperwork for the TCM, making efficient use of my time. A week in the shop, picked up a fixed vehicle and didn't pay a cent (as was supposed to happen originally, since Ford issued the "Customer Satisfaction Program" on the TCM).So my car sat at Frontier Ford for almost 2.5 weeks, just wasting time while Frontier Ford fed me lies and didn't fix a thing. Don't let them waste your time like I did. Everybody knows dealerships are swindlers and you'll end up paying way more than if you take it to an honest mechanic, but these guys here take it to a whole new level. Unsatisfactory experience. I will never recommend anyone take their vehicle to Frontier Ford or Leo Caudillo.

My experience with Frontier Ford is mostly positive. However, I have one area that has caused frustration lately. Contacting service personnel has been difficult. The forwarding of a call is sometimes circular. I've also had the call terminate after being on hold for minutes.

Be aware of this dealership. About several months ago they did the "works" package, which includes the vehicle inspection, on my car and they didn't remind me that the car had heavy corrosion on one battery terminal.I wanted to give them another chance so I took my other car there for the same "works" package. I reminded the technician, Miguel, that they didn't check the battery terminal last time and asked him to do better this time. Miguel was very impatient and argued that it's not their fault. This time, turned out they didn't check the coolant level at all. The report shows the coolant level is great; however, as shown in the photo, the coolant in the reservoir is almost empty and they said nothing about it!Stay away from them -- they will never really do the job even if they claimed they did so.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with the service department at Ford Steven's Creek in San Jose, CA, and I must say it was the worst experience I have ever had. From the moment I called, it was clear that the operator had difficulty understanding and speaking English. Not only did they hang up on me, but they also refused to take a message, showing a complete lack of professionalism. To make matters worse, the service advisor named Leo has been completely unresponsive along with their management to my repeated requests to return my parts and solve the issue that they overcharged for my truck. It is incredibly frustrating to be ignored and left in the dark, especially when it involves something as important as my vehicle.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service I received at Ford Steven's Creek. The lack of communication, unprofessionalism, and disregard for customer satisfaction is simply unacceptable. I will never use their services again, and I strongly urge others to avoid this dealership to prevent them from having a similarly horrible experience. It is disheartening to encounter such poor customer service, and I hope that by sharing my experience, others can be spared from the frustration and disappointment I have endured. If I could rate this place a zero I would.Service: Auto body & trim repair

I bought a Blue Advantage Certifed car here and the finance guy said it was covered by a 14 day return policy. 12 days later he doesn t work there any more and they say they don t participate in that return program. Tons of high pressure tactics before and after the sale too. I m out thousands of dollars in use tax and depreciation. I wish I d never set foot in this place.

If I could give a zero, I would. They stated my repair would be $6500. I found other places doing it for $1400 they called me a liar. They stated it was a crazy low number and I was somehow misunderstanding the repair. I had to ask 4 times for the total of my repair they would go off on tangents. I finally raised my voice and they accused me of being too emotional.Stay away. This place does NOT respect women and tries to get extra money from them. When they stand up, they gaslight and accuse of being hostile.

Made appointment week in advance. Truck has been in there all week and they are now ordering the parts. Also they refuse to honor the warranty on my bed trim when it has been perfect until a month ago. Zena the service advisor is extremely rude and a liar. She said she would call me yesturday but never did. I bought the truck at this dealer and the service department is a joke and especially my advisor Zena. The tall younger lady. She shoupd not be employed here because she cannot handle customers and their requests. I will be calling Meghan Murphy. The regional Ford manager.Update. Looks like they cleaned house. Great service now.

This dealership is by far the worst car dealership i have visited. They have absolutely zero respect for a potential customers time, interest. Even after booking an appointment, there was nobody to show me any car. On asking how long it would take for someone to help me, there was no reply. Overall horrible experience. Definitely not recommended. Their pricing is also a rip off. every car is overpriced leave aside no value for customers time. Goodluck if you deal with them.

Dropped off my car for service. Staff was great when I dropped my car off and when I picked it up. The maintenance staff filled the washer fluid and filled tires that were low with air. The waiting area was clean with water and coffee.

Poor customer service. This kid at customer service couldn t even spend a second to answer my question. Dude wasn t even busy, when i got there he was just on his phone, he went to grab my car and asked him a very simple question and he didn t even bother to help. Don t know how he still works there. I guess he learned this from his management. Sad story!!!!Service: Electrical repair
