Great experience. Firstly, I save well over $750 by renting a lift atSF Auto Labs and performing the maintenance myself. Secondly, I couldn't have asked for more from Alexy. Very polite, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. All tools needed for brakes, rotors, shocks, and struts were present and organized. Additionally, I asked Lexy a couple questions throughout the day and he provided direction without charging an additional $50......and he probably spent over an hour with me all added up.Rental was for the lift (8hrs).....so after my vehicle, my friend who was helping me pulled his car in and we changed his brakes as well!Thanks Alexy

I have come to this shop 3 times with high-end cars to do my own services and repair.Alex is a very nice and professional owner who knows his stuff if there are questions. Safety and tools accessibility are his main concerns.I would give him 6 stars if I could due to the fact that he does whatever is in his capacity to accommodate the requests.Thank you for your patronage Alex.

I have been to DIY Auto Labs three times for my car repairs and maintenance in the last four months. This business suits me well as I am comfortable taking on small and large maintenance and repair projects for my cars. With vast knowledge Alexey possesses regarding car mechanics, it is comforting for me to know that I will not be stuck in the middle of any project. Alexey is never intrusive and yet always available when needed. His passion for helping DIYers has come across strong in every interaction I have had with him. He is that trusted friend who is always there when needed.

Wonderful place to work on your car. Lift is great and easy to use and Alexey has all the tools you need. This guy is a god send and I recommend wholeheartedly that you go and use his services. Reasonable prices, plentiful supply of tools and space and great location right off 101. Had an amazing experience with SF Auto Labs. Traded in my 2019 Mazda 3 for a 2016 Audi A3, and it s the best decision I ve made. Super happy with my new baby, she even came with some perks and mods;) Amazing car and an amazing upgrade for me!Even tho the Audi had a salvage title, Alexey has rebuilt it to perfection and it drives like new. Nothing to complain about, it s a pleasure doing business with both Vasily and Alexey.

Alexey,the owner ,is an absolutely great guy .We started on the wrong foot because he mixed up my appointment but he showed up fast after we clarified and gave me some discount and some extra time .His advice and the extra hand he offered here and there made the experience even more pleasant .Didn't feel rushed in any way .Overall AMAZING ,saved me time and money.Thank you Alex and all the best going forward with your business.

Great place to do DIY work on your car on a lift. Way better than working on the ground. It's easy to schedule a time slot online and great communication when I needed to reschedule. Alexey was happy to help when I ran into some issues with my socket getting stuck on a bolt. Will definitely be going back for my next project.

This is the best place in Bay Area if you want to work on your car. There are many professional tools in the garage that you can use. Excellent communication with Alexey, very responsive and positive attitude. I definitely recommend this place!

My appointment was canceled by the owner while I was driving to the garage. He rescheduled for the next Saturday morning. I showed up per shop instructions, 15 minutes early for paperwork and saftey breif, waited 20 minutes and the shop was not opened so I left. He waited for me to text and says he was stuck in traffic. It seems like an easy job, just show up on time and open a door, but some people can't do the minimum.If you have no schedule and lots of patience maybe this is the place for you.

Rent a lift and do your own work!Owner was super nice and helpful, good pricing and they have a good selection of tools at your disposal. Highly recommend if you're looking to do you own work

I had to do fluids (differentials, transfer case and gearbox) on my BMW X5 and I was looking to rent a lift so I could do the service myself and save more than $1000.I am so glad I found SF Auto Labs. The process of booking the lift was a bliss, Alexey was super responsive on email when I had to reschedule. The shop has two lifts and all the tools needed for the job, and also deals with the disposal of the old fluids. Alexey opened on time, and was around all the time pointing to where a given tool was which was very helpful. I also brought some of my tools that I did not end up using.Prices are great (I rented for 1/2 a day), and the owner is knowledgeable and very friendly. Good and accessible location. Highly recommended for when you need to use a lift for your project!

Great place to DIY on your car without hassle of being disturbed. I did shocks and strut replacement on my car, went over my time, but Alexey was understanding. Will be back soon!

Went in to do a transmission filter + fluid change and Alexey was very helpful, knowledgeable, and cool to talk to. There was a tool that I needed that he didn't have, so he went out of his way to pick up the tool and had me working on my car in under 20 minutes. All in all, great place to get car work done, will definitely come back in the future.

Took my Honda Element in to replace some of the rear suspension parts. Had booked a whole day and three hours of Alexey's time.We found an unexpectedly bad wheel bearing and some other challenges.Alexey was great to work with, providing very competent help and useful tools. He is also endlessly optimistic, even when things are getting hard!I learned a lot by working with him too.In the end it took longer than I expected but that is just the nature of working on cars. Alexey was very helpful and I will definitely be back as I start fixing up the rest of the car!

I stumbled upon this place when I was searching for a DIY auto shop and I am glad I did.The garage comes fully stocked with tools; enough to tackle any project. If you needed advice, the owner was more than happy to provide you with some too (automotive only).What I liked most about the shop was that it was like working in a garage with your buddies. The owner was super chill to hang out with while I worked on my own car.Thanks again, Alex for letting me use your space!

SF auto labs brings me a really great experience. I need to leave here and drive to Los Angeles tomorrow, however, my car need to be changed the oil.He goes to the store to buy the oil even it s about 7pm, and help me to change the oil. The price is not high as well. I would definitely recommend it to all of us

This shop is going to be the number 1 stop in the bay area for Mercedes Benz maintenance and repair. The amount of meticulous details that Alexey puts into his work shows greatly. Great shop to bring a project car too if you want to do the wrenching yourself. Plenty of tools and very knowledgeable mechanics that can help assist if needed.

Did the DIY lift rental and was able to use the lift for the whole day at a great price! They have every tool you could need and Alexey was very generous in helping us out when we got stumped by a part of our install.

Great location, friendly owner. One of the only places in the bay area where you can bring in your car and rent a lift for doing DIY work. Alexy is very knowledgable and can help whenever there is an issue for a very fair price!

SF Auto Labs Worked On My Mercedes c250. I needed my thermostat housing replaced and they did it! My cars been running beautifully since the new install. Will definitely be back for future problems.
