I have an appointment at 5 pm, and the memo email said to show up 10 minutes before my tire installation appointment, I arrived at the tire center at 4:30 pm, and there are 2 people waiting with no one servicing them at in front.Original I gave this place a 3 stars, but after finding out that they don't do tire rotation/balancing on the day of my appointment at the center I am annoyed at how unprofessional they're. When purchasing the tires and setting the appointment at this location, I specifically selected tire balancing, because the option was available when I selected this location for the tires installation, and now they are telling me that they don't offer the service on the day of my appointment, this is so missleading, and unprofessional.

Made an appointment at 5 PM for tire repair. Arrived at 4 PM to check in. At 7:30 PM they finally checked my car and told me they could not repair my tire and would have to order a new one. They could not order my tire at the time because it was now 7:30 PM and Michelin was closed so they said they will call me the next day when they order it. To reiterate I spent at least three and a half hours waiting only to find out that nothing could be done. The next day I called them at 12:00 PM to make sure they ordered it. The phone rang continuously without anyone ever answering. I called for an hour straight and no one answered. I finished doing my errands that day at around 5 PM and I called them again. Someone actually answered and they claimed they ordered my tire yet they never called me. They said they will call me once my tire arrived. I doubted this would happen. For five days I had not received any calls and so I called them for a half hour straight not expecting them to answer and they didn't. So I finally drove there and waited in line. While in line, I called their phone to see if it even worked. It did ring at a decent volume but then the person at the counter hit the ignore button almost immediately. Finally it was my turn and I asked them if they ever received my tire. They looked at the computer and said that it actually arrived the day prior. Again, I never received any calls. So now that we finally established that my tire arrived, that their phone works, and they ignore 90 percent of all calls, I scheduled my final appointment to get my tire installed and of course the nearest opening is a week later. Stay the hell away from this tire center.

Made an appointment to get 4 new tires installed. Check in was efficient with the friendly staff. I was #3 from the 9am appointment and it took about 1.25hrs when they called me to pick up the car.But I made a mistake of not checking the final paperwork and to check all the tires are installed properly so it became a case of he said, she said afterwards when I noticed a problem. The other issue was the really high tire pressures (40psi) they pumped in instead of the recommended pressure of 33.Buyer beware.

This place is slammed all the time. But the people that work there are pros. Especially Kat and Jason. I would say all of them. But I don't know their names. They all have helped me out multiple times. I had nails in my tire love the Costco warranty that covers that. Have patience. There's no better deal in town on tires .... The hazard warranty can't be matched.... I would give it a five-star review. Costco needs to hire more pros like Kat and Jason..

Why doesn't anyone ever pick up their phone in their department? I'll go somewhere else for my tire and battery purchases from now on! What a waste of my time! I spent 15 minutes trying to get ahold of Mountain view tire center, and now another 20 minutes trying to get ahold of the Santa Clara tire center. I know you're mechanics and all, but you have a responsibility to answer the phone to make sales and appointments. Otherwise, us long-time customers will have to service our vehicles elsewhere!

My first rebalance and rotate on my 10k mile car and the tech was careless and damaged my rims using the impact socket. Very poor experience and now have to wait for their claims adjuster to approve the damages to my car. Don t waste your time here, unless you want the big headache. Incompetence at its finest!

Called, rang for 2 minutes, get transferred to Costco's general call line, get transferred back to the tire center, ring for 3 minutes, someone finally answers but immediately puts me on hold, wait for another 20 minutes, and I decided to end the call. Great business model.

Not the best experience having 4 new tires installed on my car. I had to wait one week for an appointment on top of that they told me I had to wait an hour and a half for my tires to be installed came back and they said 30 minutes more came back after that and the car still wasn t ready I asked them how long is it going to take this time they never gave me a timeframe ridiculous ( was done at 2hr 40min

Walk in to fix a leaking tire... no priority for me. Been waiting 2 hours and they haven't started yet ... Made an appointment, they fixed the slow leak.

Used to get tires from Costco back in the day, but they ve gone downhill significantly over the last 5 years, and I ll never buy from them again.I tend to pick up nails/screws in my tires quite often, and have had to replace several tires within the past year due to them being in the sidewall. Unfortunately I bought my tires here and have the warranty, so I was stuck going to them. I called them and told them my tire had a giant screw in it ll the sidewall, and knew it was unrepairable. I called and asked if they could order a new one, but they said they needed to look at it before they could place the order. Rather than being able to just swing by for them to take a quick look and confirm it was unrepairable, they said they didn t have any openings and would need to keep it all day just to look at it.They called me and told me it was unrepairable and would have to order one. The scheduled an appointment a week later and said the tires would be in by then. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, they took my car and waited half the day shopping the isles of Costco, only to receive a call from the tire center to tell me nobody actually ordered the tire. They ordered the tire again, and brought it back a week later. Luckily they didn t charge me for the tire, but wasted so much time.Lastly, I just had a screw again, and brought it in first thing asking if they could repair it. They said it would be with them all day if I wanted to drop it off. Took it to America s Tire and they said they d have it done in an hour, and would repair for free even though I didn t buy from them. Take your business elsewhere unless you re retired and have a bunch of time to kill at Costco.

Shame on you Costco! What use to be a pleasant experience to get tires purchased at Costco balanced and rotated. Is now an ordeal of becoming a worker at Costco. Tire tech make customer go get the mileage, licence plate, and cone up the car before they even look at you. A mad dash across the parking lot to get back in line. You're now expected to leave your car the entire day for a simple rotate and balance. Even if you make an appointment, you're a subjected to this hoop jumping. This is simply over selling and understaffing. Costco I will be helping this problem by never purchasing any tires again from your establishment. Horrible!

The line at the desk can get long because there is only one person doing the job of two. Best to note your mileage when you park, and your license plate number. Nevertheless, the person at the desk gets things done and the process works. They'll text/call you when your car is ready, so you can leave the Costco premises and return when they call. The work was done well and the tech even returned my spare to its cubby with tools and tray neatly stowed away. Kudos to the staff for doing things right!

I made an appointment to get four new tires installed. While I was there I watched one customer (without an appointment) verbally assault the manager, and the manager have to take a call from another location that messed something up. They also had someone that called in with an emergency so they were short-staffed.Despite being backed up, and people not behaving nicely towards them, they were professional and stayed an hour after closing to finish up all the appointments. Jason took care of the last three cars himself and came out to speak to all of us about the status of our vehicles.I would certainly go back.

It was 6:00pm, I got my tire nailed just in Costco parking lot, and I nearly beg the staff to fix my tire, since they close at 8:30pm and I thought they should have enough time, he said he had 3 appointments to handle and cannot deal with my case. Thanks Costco, you treat your customer without any empathy4/7/2023 Update: I got rejected the second time when I arrived at 9:00 Friday morning, they said no more walk-in customer is accepted. Will never go there any more, prefer Lawrence or Mountain View tire center which are more friendly

I went in to the tire center, dropped off my car at 10:05 AM, bought 4 new tires to be installed. It was a walk in appointment I was told it would be a few hours and by the afternoon it would be done. I waited at the warehouse for 9 hours. I heard many other walk ins told it would be a few hours. I left at about 7 pm and got a Uber home. I didn t get a call at 8:30 pm either which is when it says tire center closes, so I tried to call at about 8 pm but the phone would keep ringing and after waiting for 30 minutes I just decided to come in myself. I arrived at 8:30 and the car was in the garage but no one working on it. I saw the parking lot was just about empty except for one other walk in car. And these were walk-ins HOURS after me but my car for some reason was worked on second to last. A lady who walked in at 7 pm for a tire appt. left before I did. I got my car at 9:12 pm. 11 hours. Unacceptable. if I was told it would take that long I would have gone elsewhere.

Ordered tires here since only they had the tires I needed, even after reading all the bad reviews here. I thought I ll take my chances. Rudest service people I ve ever encountered. He did not want to listen to my issues at all and talked condescendingly from the beginning. Were unwilling to take a quick look to help me save hours and money, even though car was parked right up front (I even had it towed). All other Costco Tire Centers happily do this with no issue, but I guess this guy (Thomas) was too lazy or maybe just decided he didn t feel like helping me in any way. Ended up canceling appointment and returning the tires on the spot. Doing business at a different Costco. Do not go here unless you want to deal with attitude and incompetence and waste money and time. AVOID.

Great place to fix your tires but unfortunately I had to wait for 2h even though I had an appointment. The repair was free and only took 10 minutes. Service was good, timeliness needs to be improved as it left a bad impression (thus the 2 star rating)

Really poor customer service! Was told to make an appointment to save time. Was promised to be done within an hour and half. Almost 2 and half hours later still not done. Asked for supervisor... unable to explain why it was taking so long. Had a very I don't care attitude. Don't believe them when they say an hour and half. They are not the least bit concerned about what they promise!!!

This place is horrible and irresponsible. Went to exchange 4 tires on my Lexus (+1600) and they broke my tire sensor at August. They claimed they will order the sensors and called me in to exchange it. Of course no one ever called. After I check back in Sep., they said they talked to manager and will get back to me the second day. No one ever called. Called back today and they asked me to hold on the line and wait for the manager. And they just hang off the line. So irresponsible and rude, and this is how they treat you after you exchange the tires for that price.

Got the tires I wanted at a good discount. Wait times on the phone were very long, it took a week longer than I was originally told to get my tires delivered and then they misplaced my tire that was going to be saved and used as a spare. Probably wouldn't use again for my tire needs.

Great service.Jeff helped me a lot. Professional services. Will recommend this place over other Costco/non Costco places.Jeff and Sergio run this place pretty professionally. Ordered my tires online as I got a good deal and had them shipped to the store which was an easy process. Tires took about a week to arrive at which time I was prompted to set up an appointment or walk in for service for service. Got an Apt fairly quickly and there were plenty of time slots to choose from. I arrived 15 minutes before my appointment as requested, checked in and counter guy was friendly. I Wasn't impressed when they gave me a magnetic number, told me to go put on my car and take a picture of my plate and odometer... what happened to customer service, why am I doing your job? Once that was done they told me it would be 1.5 hours and I should go shop which I thought seemed like a long time for a tire change. Not sure if it was because I didn't have any shopping to do and just sat there that they ultimately got my car in and out in about 50 minutes.

Nice staff, but very slow. Had a 12:00 pm tire appointment today, it s 2:56 pm and I m still here waiting to get my car. Can t imagine the wait if you re a walk in. Desk staff also just walks away (?) for often minutes at a time. There is no place to wait either, so I had to sit on a bench for three hours in front of the store.

Had an awful experience here. Got a call that the tires we ordered are ready. The supervisor said just drop by within half an hour and your car will be ready in 90 minutes. We rushed there, mind you we have a 1-year-old. We get there in time, but the front desk guy now says the wait is at least 3 hours. Disappointed, we tell ourselves that this was just a fluke and schedule an appointment for the day after. Having a 1-year-old, we get there 30 minutes late. A very rude front desk guy practically yelling at us you re late and that it will take 3 hours to the job. The supervisor does nothing.I would avoid this place at any cost. Extremely rude employees with unhelpful supervisors.Edit: The name of the employee with the horrible attitude is Marvin.

Ive never had this bad experience with Costco services but this is the first time ever when i wanted to go exchange my car battery. It was bought by my family member but I moved so I changed my membership (still Costco member). They would not let me exchange it unless the one who bought it has to be there. He s two hours away! The staff-Hung is so rude and mean. I don t know if it s his name but it s written on his uniform. He doesn t look like Vietnamese. He looks like Mexican with dark skin and short hair. He is so unprofessional and disrespectful. I don t know if he got trained properly. I had my family member on FaceTime to verify him and his membership number but now they found another excuse to not exchange it. They said there is no transaction under his membership number for that battery. He s the one who bought it. So I don t know what did they do. Probably that s how their warranty policy is. Terrible customer service ever

Came here recently to replace the 4 tires on my Mazda. Service at the front desk was friendly and informative so no complaints there. Where the problems started was once my car was taken into their shop. They gave me a general timeframe of an hour and a half, so I waited around and although they said they would call me once it's done, they never did. I walked back to check if my car was ready since more than the requested time had elapsed and while I did find that the work was done, I would have never known had it not been for my own gut feeling. Afterwards, I left with my car and saw that the low tire pressure indicator was on. I assumed they would set the tire pressure for each tire to the appropriate amount but after I manually checked each tire myself, I found my front right tire was 15psi short from what it's supposed to be at. While this wasn't a huge inconvenience, you'd think they'd make sure they did their job right before leaving me with a half full tire. Last grievance is that they swooped one of my tire caps when I originally had all four. Yes, I am that petty. 2 stars.
