Excellent customer service, Art is a real host and a pleasure to speak with all things cars. I forgot the owners name but he was cool too. The team took the challenge of working on my old 80's Toyota. I'm looking forward to driving it again. Thanks AARC!

The two guys running the shop are master mechanics. I've been going there for over twenty years, and that's how old my car is they have been maintaining. They never upsell services, just do only what is necessary to keep my heaps running. They have even turned me away for oil changes when I thought I needed one and didn't. Who does that in this town?

This auto repair shop is definitely one of the bests in the Bay Area. Fred is very friendly, frankly and helpful. I am very confident to let him take care of my car. the mechanics here is also an awesome person. They fixed problems in my old car and diagnosed problems that could have killed me.

I had a Nissan 300ZX for almost 20 years and I always brought my car for scheduled maintenance to Fred s shop. He provided excellent high quality service and proved his excellent workmanship for all those years I owned it. The car had 275,000 miles on it after we moved and the water pump broke, minor repair but then I got a new car. My mom and family now go to him and thanks me because his prices are reasonable and he is very honest. Thank you Fred for servicing my car!!!

My family has been coming here for decades across multiple generations of cars. Even now, Fred and Chuy have never once let us down. All of our service/maintenance work has been exclusively done by Fred, and he has even fixed mistakes made by dealerships and other specialists! I contacted Fred through the internet to check out a classic 1978 Datsun 280Z that I was looking to purchase. It was not possible for me to get the vehicle to the Asian Auto Clinic. Fred went to the lot the next day to see and drive the car and gave me a positive review so I bought it. Fred was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and offered fair pricing for his services. If I lived in the Santa Clara I would definitely have Fred service all three of my Japanese cars.

Trying to find a mechanic that cares about your car as much as you do, is almost impossible. I got lucky. My Lexus sc430 needed an oil change, and to check my front suspension after I hit a pot hole, started pulling to the left hard, I thought I broke something, Fred put my baby up on the rack, and showed me that it was just out of alignment, he doesn't do alignments, but he took it over to the alignment shop himself, and had it done for me. I'm totally impressed with the service, and honestly, and care with my car. Thank you Fred and Asian Auto Repair Clinic, I finally found a mechanic that cares.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Honestly so thankful to have found this place. Fred has been incredibly helpful from the very beginning. It s really clear that he cares about his customers. He gave me updates pretty frequently and walked me through his process. I took my truck in to get it fixed based on the reviews. Fred was exceptional!! He told me he never seen a problem like that on my truck but he fixed it and got it to run smoothly. I'll highly recommend Asian Auto Clinic to everyone. Several weeks ago I smelt exhaust inside my car (2013 Nissan Altima) so I drove to a auto shop for diagnosing. The guy at that shop said it was manifold leak and the estimate cost to fix it was over $1200. I then went to Fred's Asian Auto for a second opinion. I am so HAPPY that I found him. Since I basically know nothing about the car, he not only explained the whole problem to me, but also provided two methods for me to consider. Two days later, I got my car. The problem was fully fixed, and it only cost less than half of the price I originally thought. What' more is that Fred helped me to fix the scratches on my car for nearly FREE and changed the wind shields.It was a amazing experience and I would definitely continue using their services in the future.

As you can see with all the other GREAT reviews, Fred is an exception in the world of mechanics. He's an honest mechanic who only fixes what needs fixing, and does not try to sell you other services or make up problems with your car like many other places seem to do. Prices are reasonable too!I also have been a long time customer, approx. 20 years now. Even though I have changed cars a few times, I continue to come back to make sure my current vehicle is well taken care of by them.I have also recommend them to my friends, I would not hesitate in recommending these guys to anyone.Their name may have been changed, but they are the same team, same great service..THANK YOU Asian Auto Clinic!

This Has Been the Best Place to get our Cars Serviced over 26 years. I have had Nohesitation telling my many friends and family how professional, skilled and HONESTFred has been thru the years.He even told a new customer/friend of mine that a service the shop she had beentaking it to since it had been purchased, appeared to have already done the recommended service. This Save her $800, since it had already been changedfrom her records of past repairs.Fred and his assistance Won't tell you something needs to be done, unless it shouldbe, to keep your car running and family safe. The thought some day he might retire,is going to be a sad day for us, who depend on Fred.

I've been going here with my mom way before I even started driving, so I am very thankful to have been grandfathered into this location for my car needs. Fred and Chuy are wonderful mechanics who solely care for you and your car needs. They do not try to sell you or add anything that you do not need. What I absolutely appreciate is when Fred gives a FYI and head-ups that in the near future that he can foresee from just looking at your vehicle that you are going to for instance, need a new set of tires because they are wearing out. Genuine care for the person and the car makes this place at the TOP and the only one on my list for car repair or maintenance.Also see my review in Yelp =)

First and foremost I'd like to thank Asian Auto Clinic for their amazing team! They have taken care of my car's needs for over 10 years! My first car was my Honda Civic and their mechanics have taken care of my car every single time I've come in.I thank Fred for his knowledge about cars and making sure that the customers' needs are met. I thank his mechanic, Chuy also for his dedication to the shop and making sure all the cars coming into the shop are taken care of!Their shop has many loyal customers and there is a reason to it! You'll have to give them a call or drop by the shop! You'll know why after your first visit! Happy 25 years to you! Wishing your shop many more years to come!

Got my baby back! I was so sad my 2006 chevy could not pass smog and another mechanic told me to junk it. A friend referred me to Fred. Fred searched and found me a newer replacement engine well maintained with very low miles. He even made sure the quality was good by opening it up, as he will not put in a dirty bad used engine. Also Chuey was very helpful to me too. Spending time repairing my car and explaining the process.He also had my transmission rebuilt. It was a big job, but he put the replacement engine in for a very reasonable cost. It passed smog. Now my car runs better than it did off the showroom floor when I bought it. I can't believe I got my car back! Fred and Chuey even fixed my broken door without charge.

Honest and fair shop. I have brought my car in two times and will continue! Great service and completely trustworthy. I was told by another shop that I needed a new clutch assembly so I went to Fred for a second opinion. Come to find out my clutch is totally fine! Thanks Asian Auto clinic!

When I bought my car, I told them I absolutely don't want any of their service packages, because I already had a great mechanic I would take my car to. Asian Auto is the one place I can bring my car in and not feel ripped off. I can trust Fred to advise me what to change and what not to change, and to do what is really best for me car. I wouldn't get my car maintained anywhere else.

Very reasonable price and good service. Fred never tries to cheat you and is always honest. Sometimes they even provide free service as courtesy, e.g., charging the battery for free after diagnosing the issue is only a drained battery.

I dropped by this pace as I needed estimates. I got there at 8 30am. Body shop doesn't open til 10. The old guy takes photos and says I'll get a quote once they open. Fast-forward til 2pm. I didn't get a call til then the guy takes my info and says need to call dealer to get prices and will call me. Back. He returns my call within 30min. Doesn't tell me the price. The number he falls from is not a cell so he can't take text. Cuz I was like I need to see the detail estimate. A line by line breakdown. Had to repeat many times to give him my email. So I am like pls email me. I wait 10min and nothing then calls him asking about the estimate. He accuses me being impatient and hangs up on me. Well hello? I was at your place before you guys opened. you have to make multiple calls to give me a quote. I never got a number from you. I'm being impatient or you're being unresponsive ? You don't need my business whatever

I would recommend this place for everyone if you own a Japanese car. Chuy is very helpful and is an expert. They won't replace everything for you that charge lots of money like many dealership. Instead, they only replace according to the manufacturing recommendation list when you reach certain mileage, and cheap enough compared to other places.

This auto repair shop is located in the center of Silicon Valley, and just next to the San Jose airport. I started to visit this shop since 3 years ago for my older Toyoya, and later all my three cars are maintained or repaired there.The shop owner has many years experience and honest, the price is reasonable, and the overall quality is good. I will continue to visit.

I was recommended here by my BMW mechanic when I was looking at buying a Lexus. I talked to Fred and he helped me out with setting up a pre purchase inspection on the vehicle. Fred and Chuy checked out the car told me all the pros and cons, gave me a write up and estimate for all the work.I ended up buying the Lexus and I have been bringing it to Asian Auto Clinic ever since. I have been to and spoken with many mechanics and these guys are very honest and extremely helpful not like the typical ones that will make a mountain out of a mole hill. They are very honest and will not tell you to replace something unless it is absolutely necessary.For example, after the PPI, they told me the two things that need attention and need to be replaced are my rear strut rods and my left motor mount since they were cracked. But Fred told me that as long as I don't floor it and drive the car hard, I can postpone replacing the motor mounts and I only need to do the strut rods.I ended up replacing both items 2 months apart. The strut rods were definitely cracked; Chuy showed me the old ones. When the motor mounts were replaced as well, Chuy showed me both of them. The left one was in two pieces!Their prices are very reasonable and they will not try to nickle and dime you. Another example, after I did a fluid flush (power steering, brake, and coolant), I went home and the next day found a small puddle of coolant leaking on my driveway underneath the discharge valve used to drain the coolant. I took it back to them and they fit me in to their busy schedule and diagnosed and solved the problem. It was NOT at all their fault. Turns out an O-ring was old and when the valve was used after a long period of time of no use, the seal was not perfect. They replaced the O-ring free of charge and didn't charge me any labor either.I have also recommend these guys to my friends who have Subaru's that need a little bit of work. I would not hesitate in recommending these guys to anyone.Thanks Fred and Chuy!
