Akins Collision in Santa Clara, CA is the best collision shop experience I've encountered in all the time I've ever needed collision shop work done on a car I've owned. Their office staff are well informed and versed on the details on collision work and navigating the challenges of working with insurance. I got a follow up phone call and email timed well enough apart to keep me informed of the work and progress. Their flexibility to pickup after hours was also welcomed and well gestured, although due to my work hours I could not avail my self of this benefit but the offer was much appreciated.

Where do I even start....Hands down the best service I could have asked for. My car was hit in San Jose 3 weeks prior to me relocating to Southern California. I was concerned that the repair would not be completed in time prior to my relocation.I started off by going to a completely different body shop in Campbell CA. I informed them of the urgency in a timely repair due to my relocation. At the time of writing this post, that shop STILL has yet to return a quote.Due to the delays with the original shop, I had done a quick Google search and found Akins. I felt confident, seeing all the positive reviews. I met Eric at the Almaden location and informed him of the urgency in getting a repair completed quickly prior to my relocation. Eric was able to quickly create an accurate estimate of the work which was ultimately approved by insurance. They even provided a driver to take me to my rental car at Enterprise. He was able to wrap up the repair in 1 week and put me right on track to relocate to Southern California. I will be recommending Eric and Akins to all of my family and friends.Dealing with car damage is stressful enough. Why not make your life easier and see Eric at Akins?

Very professional service. Really appreciated that the staff there was prompt and very courteous when I needed information regarding the status of my repair. I had a long wait for parts (not Akins fault) so I was anxious about when I could get my vehicle serviced. I dealt with several Body shops when I was gathering estimates and Akins were the best. As far as work quality, everything seems great so far and I have a lifetime warranty on all the work. Akins was incredible to work with on the auto body repair work on my car. Eric Trinh was great in communicating the status of the repair, and even stayed late at the end to make sure it was completed on time. The quality of the repairs and painting was excellent. I highly recommend Akins Collision Center to anyone who needs these services.

I am very satisfied with the work and time-wise was excellent. You said seven days it was seven days and the work is perfect and I went over it very carefully very good work to the guys at Atkins collision thumbs up to everybody at Atkins, I would strongly suggest this to everybody. Staff was very friendly and strong customer service. Akins was able to get my car in and out in under 72 hours! They even went and picked up the needed part in the East Bay in order for me to have my vehicle by the weekend for our vacation. This is my second time with Akins, but first for current vehicle returned after my first experience that was positive. I have referred them in the past and those individuals had nothing but great reviews too! A big shout out to Julian, Alma, the owner and team at Akins for great customer service and quick turnaround! Amazing experience. Had a bumper replaced after being rear ended. Im very particular with my car and Santiago and Alma went above and beyond. Santiago remembered some of the issues I had with my car (which had nothing to do with the bumper) and he kindly took care of it for me. They provided excellent customer service and my car looked perfect. Paint work is top notch. My car has a metallic paint and they did and amazing job painting the new bumper to match the vehicle. They went above and beyond and addressed all my needs. Everyone there is friendly and easy to work with. Great communication with Alma and Santiago, easy process, and quality work. Thank you for making my car look brand new again.

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My car got broken into last month and AAA sent me to get my window replaced at a different place and it turned out there was more damage. I took my car to Akins to get an estimate and repair and they've been super helpful in explaining the process and setting everything up for me. I just dropped off my car today and a car rental and pickup was arranged for me. The staff here is wonderful and accommodating. I am also receiving text alert and status updates. Looking forward to seeing how the repair goes when I pick up my car next week. The experience has been positive so far and based on that I would recommend this center.Update: Car repair was done in 7 days and looks great. Communication was amazing as well. Received frequent updates about the status and also from Chanel who was always ready to answer my questions. Quality of the repair is good. The leather seat repair looked a little bit obvious and didn't blend well with the original seat but was told that it could take a few days to set in and blend. They told me to bring the car back in 30 days and they will polish it up for me after the material sets in. Great service and friendly staff with full itemized receipt. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I got into a minor mishap where I backed into another vehicle. The trunk and bumper needed to be replaced. I have to say, the final result looks like new. Nothing rattles and the fit and finish is perfect. I highly recommend Akins Collision Center. This is the 2nd time I ve used Akins after car accidents and I cannot say enough about their service.They are professional, friendly, and most importantly they kept in constant communication with me regarding the status of my car repair.Given the poor customer service at so many places these days, it was refreshing to work with this team.Very much appreciate each of them.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim, Auto detailing

Akins Collision has worked on my car 2 different times. They do such amazing work. Rather than just slapping a coat of paint that matched one side they took the time to match a slight paint fade from side to side. That is when they told me the car had some work done on it before I started my lease(now own). They have even saved that paint code. As long as I am in the area I will always use them.

I got hit and run so i had to go through all this trouble because someone else! But akins made sure I didn t had any issues with my repairs. They took care of me since day one, made sure I was updated on a regular basis and that i understood everything that was going on with the repairs. My car looks awesome, and they even cleaned the inside spotless AND disinfected it too. I couldn t be more happy with them. Santiago and Channel are awesome. At first I was skeptical about AAA recommended body shops and chosed Akins because it was the first one the list. Turned out it was a right decision. Akins restored my Subaru to factory condition! They even fixed a flat tire for me. The car is looking as good as when it left the dealership. Ryan was courteous and kept me informed on the progress everyday. I m glad Akins repaired my car. The reviews on Yelp are true. Definitely recommend if you have the need!Update on 2021Took my car to the shop for the 3rd time. Akins did a superb job, courteous and meticulous as always!

I love this place,Everyone is supper nice and wiling to answer any questions regardless of how silly you may think it is. The quality of work they do is exceptional. I have been back to see them a few times and love every visit. I had a few scratches that I though would require painting and with out charge they took my truck to the back and had it buff out. Can't even tell why I was there in the first place. Receptionist are on there game, very nice and willing to help, they treat you like family and I feel that every time I'm there.Can't go wrong at Akins Collision Center: they should have 10 stars!Thank Everyone At Akins, You are the BEST

I received outstanding customer service at Akins! I was walked through the whole process by Michelle, who went above and beyond to explain everything to me regarding the process I had to take with the insurance for handling my repairs and I could tell she genuinely cared about any concerns I expressed. Santiago was also great at explaining to me the repairs made to my car once I went to pick it up. It was ready sooner than expected! Would definitely reccomend coming here for auto repairs, and you re lucky if you get to work with Michelle!
