I lost my key fob when my husband and I were in the process of moving. I called to get a new one. I was quoted a price of $220. I made the appointment. When I went in the guy asked me if I was give a price. I told him yes $220. I heard him say it would be an addtional $10 for service fee. He asked if I wanted to continue and thought of course. He pulled out the contract and had me sign it. It showed the total price of $430. I realized he must have said an extra 210. I felt pressure to sign and decided not to question it. My mistake. I told him I had another appointment to get to and he said he would check with the technician. I sat in the waiting room for an hour, he never came back. I checked in with the front desk and was told they would see what was going on. Still did not hear any update so I left. Got a call to come back an hour later. When I went to pay the total was over $520. After this whole ordeal I just wanted to get my car back and leave. A few weeks later and I can t help but feel I was taken advantage of.

What a great team of hardworking professionals! Thank you Nate and all the other awesome staff for making me feel like family... as always! One of the best places to buy, service and sell a vehicle!Update 11/9Text message to service manager:Good evening Dan. My lightning has only gotten worse since we spoke. This evening turning into my driveway the front suspension literally squealed. I don't get it bud. The collision shop barely did anything. You guys did the work 3-4 rounds of parts ordering and 2 months without my work truck. Now I'm going to have to give it back to you do to correctly what should of already been done. What am I supposed to drive to work and securely transport my tools and ladders? We've already paid $800 out of pocket for rentals BEYOND the money Geico paid the first time you had my truck. I was really disappointed with Nates customer service and communication as well but that's another conversation I'd rather not have right now. I have to finish a commercial project in the morning on a DEADLINE. At the end of the day can drop off tomorrow but NEED a truck to drive to work on Monday as I'm assuming you're going to have to order a part again. Unless someone simply didn't tighten something down enough... which i would be a little upset but not nearly as upset as losing my work vehicle for another month or two... what's the move?Update 11/17Ford has taken the Lightning again and is working on fixing the problem... once they figure out what that is exactly... neither Ford or Geico have have offered a loaner or rental vehicle... so that leaves us paying out of pocket and hoping Geico is able to secure a reimbursement from the at fault party's insurance... I'll be holding my breath... on the bright side Dan has been very informative and provides regular progress reports... time will tell how this plays outUpdate 12/1Another multiple thousand dollar repair of a steering rack which did NOT fix the suspension issue. Nor has anyone offered a loaner vehicle. $100K for a paperweight! What a deal!Update 12/14The Lightning is back at the collision shop which they almost immediately discovered a bent frame. How did the Perry Ford service department spend $10,000 replacing the front suspension for nothing and NOT notice that crucial part is the vehicle which would prevent it from driving safely regardless. My wife and 5 month old baby are also innocent bystanders in this 4 MONTH ordeal when i have to shove all my tools as an electrician in my wife's Prius to go to work.... to pay for a truck i can't drive... leaving them without a vehicle during the day. This situation has only gotten worse needing another $15,000 repair and no end in sight. Strongly considering ligation at this point

I'm not sure how they ended up getting to a 4+ star rating. Maybe they used to be a friendly, trustworthy / honest and reliable business but not anymore.Friendly: None of there customer service people I talked to were friendly or courteous by any standards. They also don't seem to know how to use a phone since they keep hanging up in the middle of the call. The only friendly person I had the pleasure interacting with was the guy picking up the vehicle.Trustworthy / honest: Be prepared to get quoted one price for an oil change and then charged a few hundred dollars more. The same "coincidentally" happened with replacing the battery. There was also an engine code I wanted them to look at (I told them what the engine code was) and after running test for a full day they essentially told me "We are not sure but it might be part x. We can order and replace it and then run tests again" ... No! You are a Ford dealership, you should KNOW what needs to be done to fix this problem and not replace parts based on a hunch. On top of that I did some research on my own on the engine code and the part they wanted to replace wasn't on the list of potential candidates. Seems like the Ford techs there don't even know how to use the internets.Reliable: You ask them to do a tire rotation and they 'forget' to update the pressure sensors so I am getting a constant warning about low tire pressure.I have more I can add to this list but the characters number for this review is to low to keep going. If you have the choice ... STAY AWAY FROM PERRY FORD OF SANTA BARBARA.

My Ford Maverick has been in service for 3-4 recalls and 6 times for other issues. At 17,xxx miles I decided I was fed up with the truck. I met with Mark to discuss selling to Perry. He offered $25,500 to match the offer I had from Kirby Subaru. I came back later to make the deal and he entered $24,500 into the paperwork without discussing with me. It felt pretty sneaky. He also failed to mention (until I called later in the day) that I would not receive a check for 3-6 weeks. I would have much rather sold to Subaru as now I have to wait for the check to arrive before I can pick up my new car. The whole transaction felt very sneaky and very very untrustworthy. I will never return back to Perry Ford.

Let me save you some time, this place is fraudulent:I'm a local builder, entrepreneur, long time search and rescue member, and tech geek (currently living globally)...I bought Ford's prepaid maintenance. They refused to honor this, and made me pay for service. They replaced my engine under factory warranty but didn't put all the bolts back in... The AC compressor fell apart and did damage WHILE I was driving it and they wouldn't fix it under warranty. The mechanic even wrote on the repair order that he has never seen something like this happen, and the bolt didn't break, which means it was not properly tightened. The service writer named Grant was responsible for most of these issues, which means responsible for denying me proper service and warranty coverage. New faces, same game.I waited endlessly for them to perform a vehicle recall update for the drive shaft. They never got around to it, so Jim Vreeland Ford took care of it for me in one visit. While I had prepaid maintenance, Perry said everything was fine and nothing needed to be replaced. My next service after prepaid maintenance had run out, just a few days ago, they told me that I need new brakes, rotors, two batteries, and a fuel filter. They quoted 85 for an oil change, and billed me for 210.Go somewhere else. Go somewhere else.

I went here to have my Mazda serviced because I had an e mail coupon for a $20 discount on an oil change. When I went to pick up my car i was told they would not accept the coupon for some reason, so I ended up spending $117. I may not ever go back here for any type of service, and you would think that they would think about that, not to mention the bad reviews that they get. Not smart!! I hope you listening Mazda USA.

Dishonest salesmen. I put in an order for a Ford Maverick and was told I needed to pay a $1000 custom order fee a completely bogus fee to take advantage of customers. When I asked if all Ford dealers did this, salesman said yes straight up lie. Avoid this dealer at all costs, plenty of other options in the region like Envision Ford of Oxnard.

I have been shopping for a new truck for 2 years and worked with countless sales reps throughout California and the U.S. Inri Cortez at Perry Ford is far and away the best, most helpful and honest rep and a completely straight shooter. I highly recommend asking for Inri if you find yourself at Perry Ford Santa Barbara.

I had an appointment today at 10:40AM it took them a while to help me out then they told me how bad I need my car and I told them I used it for work. They were like we need to keep for a couple of days when I ask for a rental they told me here is the number for the car rental place. First of all my car is under warranty the least the service rep could have done was called for a rental. He was like I really want to take care of you but for convenience you can also take it to ford in oxnard. Picture this I live in Ventura made an appointment to get this kind of service is bad. I hope they retrain their service consultants in cx service. Would definitely not want to deal with them again.

DONT GO HERE: Got a car serviced yesterday & when I came in, I told the technician (Nathan Myers) that it was an online appointment at 10 made a week ago. He acted helpful until we came back and he upcharged the oil change to $100. When asked why it was a different price than online, he became angry and snapped this isn t jiffy lube, inflation blah blah. I went into the cashier and she became hostile as well saying we needed to present a coupon when I scheduled online for the works and saw the price. She was extremely rude and spoke about us while we were standing right there. Nathan and Ms. Long brown hair at the front desk are horrible. It seems as though they thought because I was young and female that I would fall for it. DONT GO HERE

I bought a new engine and a month later had problems with it. The valve gasket had to be replaced.. two weeks later took it back because oil was low again. Peter said engine oil is not low and that he would not look at it. I have a 3 yr warranty on it. Took it to Firestone and they said my oil was a Ouart low. They are not honoring my warranty.

I called multiple times. Call dropped, sometimes they just let me wait for 5 minutes and then hung up. I had to go on person. One hour drive. I thought to find a super busy place (since they have no time to answer the phone). Bunch of ppl just doing nothing. Not sure how they can stay in business.

Best car buying experience by far! I purchased a new Ford Bronco yesterday, and the entire team at Perry Ford was an actual pleasure to work with. The car buying process can be grueling and uncomfortable, but they made it painless and easy. Special thanks to Denver for being awesome!

I bought a new Ford Maverick from Perry Ford and wished I would have had it shipped to any other dealership. I have brought it in 2 times to a couple issues addressed. One issue is there are deep indents on the sidewall of the front and back drivers side tires. Grant told me every vehicle has it due to shipping. I walked through the car lot and none of the new vehicles have it, so I was lied to and when I asked grant he said he can't do anything about it. I was also sent a safety recall and in the recall it states, "for your convenience, Ford has authorized your dealer to provide you with vehicle pickup, delivery, and a rental vehicle free of charge". I was told Perry Ford will not supply a rental call. I have never had a positive experience and am now taking my truck to Oxnard instead. I would highly suggest to avoid this dealership.

Nice enough customer service but a service department that just CANNOT deliver. I brought my brand new 2022 f350 tremor here cause I was having an issue with the FordPass app saying I have a lot battery. I paid extra for the better warranty and am supposed to have been given a rental car any time I come for service.I had had the truck for 3 days and they could not fix the issue, did not have a service shuttle, and did not have an cars for me to rent.I won t be taking my truck back here for service and recommend others don t bother as well

We went to go see a pre ordered black Ford Maverick truck. They said the customer might not want it. We were shown it and given a price. We left our names and we were told if the customer didn't want it they would call us. We got the call and we said yes we would like it. Then they told us it was $11,000 more. So don't go there. They will take you for a ride.

While in a trip with the family we were having issues with our new Ford Mach E and DC charging. We stopped by Perry Ford and are so happy we did. Omar in the service department was super fast and helpful. Between Omar and Chris, their Mach E mechanic, they were able to fix the issue we were having with the vehicle. It turned it that we needed a software update. They also took care of a recall right there and then dealing with the phone key. Both Omar and Chris were friendly and professional. They came through in a pinch and saved our family trip.

Perry Ford has taken excellent care of my car and my recent visit was no exception. Since I hadn't been for a while due to the pandemic, there were a few issues to be addressed. They kept the price as low as they could & even cleaned up my headlight covers. The car drove much better after leaving so I was thrilled. The service writer, Omar, was wonderful to deal with. Thank you Perry Ford & Omar.

Initially purchasing my Nissan was a great experience I got a lot of help with it being my first car purchase. My first maintenance was really cool too Omar helped me and explained everything and answered all my newbie car maintenance questions. The only thing that I'm still not too happy about is I haven't received my correct car manual from them and I bought this car Dec 2020. But overall I highly recommend this dealership. Staff are pretty chill and super welcoming which is a feeling you don't get everywhere.

Despite what some claim about Ford vehicles, I'm convinced that buying a new Ford Edge was somewhat of a redemption for me. After trading my Ford CMax--which I loved-- into the local Toyota dealership--which I will never go back to, enjoying my Tacoma, but hating the experience, I went to Perry Ford. What a difference a few miles make! The salesmen, Denver, was low key, funny, informative, and eager to answer any questions. Mark, the sales manager, listened to our financial needs, and it was clear that he sincerely wanted to work with us. We left with a beautiful new car and a great deal/experience. I should have realized that after buying five cars at Perry Ford, it continues to be the only local car dealership where humanity still exists! Thank you Denver, Mark, and the entire staff of Perry Ford. I love my new Edge!

Brought in my Ford Fusion due to malfunctioning transmission and after explaining I had an extended warranty I was told the warranty expired. I asked if they could check more thoroughly for my extended warranty. I was told it had expired. After lots of digging through my files I found the extended warranty and asked to speak with a different sales rep and magically it showed up on their computer. This was a full transmission rebuild costing thousands of dollars and they almost stiffed me with the bill. Thankfully I found my physical copy. I will not be doing business at this establishment. Shame on you! This is bad business. After my transmission was rebuilt it failed a second time. Terrible experience! Not a pleasure doing business.

This was only my second time coming here for service the first time was great but my second time around was a little bumpy. I dropped off the car early in the morning hoping to get it before noon which was confirmed by the service rep. I had to call back just before 12 to ask if it was ready and they said they called me already to pick it up (*has no missed calls) and then proceeded to get a phone call after the fact letting me know that my car was ready. They are very helpful and service is efficient I just wish communication was more on point and accurate. Thanks Perry Ford!

Service was excellent. Pulled up to the dealership and let them know exactly what price point I was willing to pay. They cooperated wonderfully, very honest, very laid back, patient, no haggling, no rushing, and never showed signs of being pushy. Everything was such a smooth process. Jerry took care of my girlfriend and I. And we re very grateful for the paperwork that Andy, the GM, was able to pull together to help me get into a car that day. I m now a proud owner of a reliable Ford Fusion SE. Fantastic team that works there and I highly recommend this place.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. Grant Lee was rude, condescending, and impolite. I brought my car in to have my mirror replaced after it had been stolen, and was told the final cost was going to be $150. After they ordered the mirror, I came back two days later and find out they have now made the price $215. When asked about why the price had gone up, I was rudely told by Grant that I should have known about the service fee. No additional costs were talked about, nor were in the paperwork I was given. I told him about this and he admitted responsibility and apologized, very rudely as if being forced. Grant talked down to me as if I was stupid, other women know this feeling caused by a man. After talking him down to the original price, he angrily told me yes I did it for free for you! . Definitely would not recommend if you re not looking to be patronized.

I am very impressed with my oil change experience! I had early appointment and they did not make me to wait for even 5 minutes. Omar M, who met me first, was super friendly, informative and went above and beyond to make my experience almost like a holiday! I even got complimentary Uber ride to a coffeeshop while waiting!!I had oil change, tire rotation and car inspection for the best price in Santa Barbara! They have a great team there and I % recommend to try their service!!

Some of the most friendliest, helpful, informed staff I've ever dealt with. I am honestly happy with my purchase and everything about it. Omar helped us and he was very easy going, welcoming, answered all our questions, helpful, and made the process so easy. It was the quickest, painless, easy car purchase I've ever made. I hate to emphasize the same thing multiple times, but this has been the best place to go to if you think of purchasing a car.
