Trust, confidence, and quality to simply out my experience.Every time I take my car to Oren and his team, I know I'm taking it to a trusting garage that will give me a fair rate without being taken advantage of. Then the confidence to know the car will actually be 100% fixed rather than having a band-aid fix that will bring me back a week or month later. The quality of work leaves me with a peace of mind knowing my car is in good hands.This a great garage run by a great people. Choose Oren s automotive!

This place is amazing and I m definitely going to take my car here from now on!! I came in without an appointment and they fixed my issue right away and for a great price. Chris worked on my car- he was really nice and explained what he was doing while I watched. Relieved to find a place I can feel good about in town!

We had the best experience with Oren! We are shopping for a car and took one here to check before buying. He was so through and kind. He saved us from spending thousands on a car that would twice the price in repairs. Here s to hoping we get a car soon and can call Oren our regular mechanic!

My experiences here have consistently been marked by top-notch service. They treat you like family and always provide fair pricing for all their services. If you find yourself in need of automotive assistance in the Santa Barbara area, I wholeheartedly recommend them. The staff is not only trustworthy but also remarkably kind and helpful. Oren and Erik, in particular, are friendly, approachable individuals who possess an extensive knowledge of auto mechanics. They consistently go the extra mile on every job they undertake. Oren's Automotive is my kind of service shop. Oren and Erik are both friendly guys who are easy to talk to and who know auto mechanics inside and out. I have been more than satisfied with their work and their pricing is very reasonable. I can't ask for more than that.But there is more. Oren and Erik were instrumental in helping me navigate an expensive insurance repair that had many unique hurdles along the way. They were innovative in attacking the issue from multiple angles and they always kept me up to date on the progress being made. Their involvement resulted in a very favorable settlement with my insurance provider. I am convinced the results would not have been in my favor without their help.I love my Honda, but she's old enough to vote now so it is very important that I have knowledgeable professionals who can help keep her on the road for me. Oren's Automotive is where I found those professionals. The next time I need anything for my car my first call will be to them.TLDR- Oren's Automotive is the best and you should go there. So far above!! Three Michelin Stars!! Eric makes you feel at home. My first time, sceduled maitenance. Courteous, provide amazing customer service and even return your vehicle washed! Look forward to no greese left behind on my floor and seat! Most of all fair prices and do NOT upsell!! I am so thankful to find them. My neighbor has gone their for years!

I've gone to Oren's automotive for 8+ years now. It comes down to one thing: When I bring my car in, I've learned that they are going to speak truth about whether a repair is actually necessary, or if it can safely wait till some later date, and when and how. When they do perform repair services, things are done with attention to detail. Oren s has the BEST service!!!I brought in a used Mini Cooper I bought a year ago for service, and expected to be replacing the tires as well. They did a thorough inspection of my car. I got 4 nice tires for a reasonable price, and they even washed my car. They also recommended a battery replacement, it was old and ready to die, so that saved me the hassle of a AAA call. Very friendly, it s like taking your car to a friend s business and getting the A plus service! And they were super helpful with rides. They answered all my questions thoroughly. I've been going to Oren for my automotive needs since moving to Santa Barbara in 2007. He is a wonderful human and is very knowledgable and trustworthy. When I've had to have major work done, he always gives me different options to help save $$. Most recently, my car audio died and he referred me to a local business that replaced it for less than if I'd taken it to the dealership. I've taken four different vehicles to him over the years and will continue to do so. THIS PLACE ROCKS!!!! We were on a Road Trip from Chicago and our Tahoe broke down in Summerland and needed a new starter. Called 2 Chevrolet dealerships and was told car wouldn't be looked at till Monday (it was Wednesday). Was recommended OREN , I called and he was able to look at car the same day. Which is so amazing!!!! He was able to fix my car the next day so we can continue our trip. Oren and his crew are so amazing and I am truly grateful for him. He even provided shuttle service to the car rental office. Gilberto thank you for being so nice. If you want your car or truck or even yourself to be treated to a First Class service go to Oren.. Go BEARS!!!!

Oren and his team are wonderful. They diagnosed the issue with the engine warning light, did a general maintenance check, got it all done within a few hours, shuttled me to my home so I didn't have to wait around, and kept me updated throughout. The price was incredibly reasonable too. If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! Maybe the most compassionate mechanic I've met in my entire life. He's been taking care of my family for 15 years now, and there's nobody else in Santa Barbara or beyond who I would trust to do as thorough and honest of a job as Oren. He goes above and beyond on every job - right down to the free car wash with every service! Honest, quick, competitive pricing, amazing communication.

Good service but very expensive. Oren and Erik and are nice guys and know their cars, but overall I was disappointed in how costly they were. I had brakes, rotors, oil, and an electrical diagnisis done and was surprised to see my bill come to over $2700 (one reason is they charge $210 an hour labor vs. $165 at my other mechanic). Two other mechanics looked over my bill afterward and said they would have been about $1000 lower.

Very professional, very fast, very fair. I had a signal light bulb that was about to go out, I called a couple of places, Oren's was able to see me right away and got me great service. The person was very responsible, they first made sure that it was the lightbulb, then when they were able to get to the light bulb, they made sure that it was working before placing it back into its bay. Then, they had me start the car to make sure that everything was good on the dashboard. The whole thing took under 15 mins. I'll definitely be going back to this place. Highly recommend it!

We have been taking all of our cars to Oren's Automotive for years. But this latest help by Oren puts him and his shop in a category that is unparalleled. The Hyundai dealership in Oxnard told us that we had a $3100 repair. Supposedly the repair was not under warranty. Before doing anything we went to Oren's Automotive for a second opinion. After a proper diagnosis by the mechanics there, Oren helped us navigate the pitfalls of trying to get Hyundai to honor their power train warranty. After following his advice, the warranty work ended up being covered by the dealership. Oren's Automotive turned down a $3K+ plus repair to help my family get the repair done under warranty. I am forever grateful to Oren and his staff for taking care of our cars even when he is not doing the repair himself. There is no doubt in my mind that this kind of service is nearly impossible to find. Oren has earned customers for life. "I recently had my car serviced at Oren s Automotive Shop and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I needed to get my headlights replaced when I came in.The repairs were completed quickly and efficiently, and my car has been running perfectly ever since. Oren's is simply the best! Car repairs can be expensive, but Oren's quotes are fair and honest. I found myself needing repairs for my 2011 Mini Cooper, whose engine failure light had come on suddenly. Oren was able to review the issue immediately, and since I brought the car in late in the afternoon, he told me to leave it there (since it was not safe to drive), and he would get back to me with an overview of what needed to be done ASAP. He called me two hours later, giving me information surrounding the multiple issues, the solutions for each problem, and a quote for the parts + labor. I gave the go-ahead, and he was able to order the parts, and his technicians were able to complete the repairs by 10 am the next day. I was without a car for now more than 1/2 a day. They even washed the car for me, so it looked brand new!
