Took my car in for an oil change and was able to get a AAA promo (not many shops in town accept this so that was great). Staff was really nice, they did a great job and my car is running better than before with all the little adjustments they made. Highly recommend.

Referred to Mastercraft from my 4 decade car mechanic saying there very good and Danny communicates well . I didn t think much about the communication comment but decided based upon good work (and implied Trust). I talked with Danny on the phone to make an appointment to bring the car in (it was drivable), and get a quote and see the place. Wow! Danny on the phone was a good communicator: I didn t need to ask questions, he laid out what an initial visit would be about. At the visit, same thing: assessing vehicle without taking anything apart creates initial quote; if I decide to work with them they coordinate with my insurance agent; how I m no fault so the insurance company of the guy who hit me ultimately pays. I immediately knew Motoercraft was who I would use, because Danny would most likely communicate this way all the way through. This turned out to be true: from interaction with insurance: thru Quote changing after taking car apart; thru possible return date based upon part acquisition; to the very end. The process was smooth and and the outcome as perfect as it could be.

I was really impressed by this company. Mauricio was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I brought my car in for some body work after a collision I had recently. I was really pleased to see a fair estimate and timely service. I was able to bring in my car to get repaired fairly quickly and the expedited getting the work done. It was an absolute pleasure working with Mastercraft Motors. I m new in town and one is always leery when choosing a new auto shop for the first time. Mario put my mind at ease immediately, making me feel like a true valued customer. He was diligent, extremely professional, trustworthy and took the utmost care of my vehicle while diagnosing the issue. I visited several other mechanics to only get the run around. This was not the case with Mastercraft Motors and finally got to the root of the problem. If you want to work with a shop that does things with integrity and get the job done proficiently, I highly suggest considering Mastercraft Motors for your own auto needs.Service: Electrical repair

Email reply to AAA insurance rep after some repair work that was covered under my insurance policy:Thank you! I just sent a reply to your email but it came back saying it could not be delivered so I'm trying again. I wanted to say that I was pleasantly surprised with the service from the MasterCraft Motors and that they completely exceeded my expectations with what I thought was going to take forever and cost a fortune and instead was lightning fast and very reasonable I thought. I've since referred them to everyone I know that has a vehicle here in town and I'll never be going to a different shop ever again! Is it too much to ask for a car repair shop to do quality work, do it on time and stick to the estimate they give you?Unfortunately, the answer around here is generally yes. If you want to avoid a lot of wasted time and disappointment, take your vehicle to Mastercraft Motors on Haley and Olive.Ask for the longtime manager and owner, Mike Parsons.Trust me, Mike and his top notch crew will listen carefully, estimate honesty and show you and your car respect and professional service every time.If your insurance company is paying, all the better.Mike knows everything there is to know about interacting with agents, adjusters and accountants. You just won t have to worry about it.I m a car guy. I like nice cars.I would not trust them to anyone else.They are, hands down, the best automotive shop on The Central Coast.

Mike and his team are awesome! It s a busy shop because so many people rely on Mike and his knowledgable team to do great work repairing damaged cars. We have an older Toyota that needed multiple door repairs. Although parts were hard to find Mike got them and his team fixed the doors within time promised. When you need quality honest work done bring your car to Mike at Mastercraft Motors.

Never had an experience like this before. I don't typically review businesses but this one has made an impression on me. If you're reading this and you're debating taking your car in, just do it. They will not anything without your permission and they take the time to address the entire problem before they even charge you. This place is amazing. Noah and his guys at Mastercraft were awesome. I broke down close to their shop and ended up leaving my vehicle with them for a few days, they were very friendly, helpful and professional. I was very impressed with their service and work. The team at Mastercraft motors made the whole process of getting my car repaired after an accident extremely easy and low stress. They handled everything and even provided a loaner car free of charge. One of the best experiences I ve had dealing with cars/repairs.

These guys are amazing. My truck started having electrical problems at 3:30 on Friday before the 4th of July weekend. I live 350 miles from SB. Found them online and was in their garage 25 minutes later thinking no way was this going to end well. By 5:30 they d diagnosed and fixed the problem. Absolutely amazing. I ve been a contractor for 30 years and I ve seen my share of garages. I ve never encountered a more competent group of guys. To top it of, it s now Monday and the owner Mike just texted me to see if I made it home safely; I did.

Massive waste of time.... Had my van towed here, then days later, was informed by phone that they hadn't looked at it, didn't want to and that maybe I should tow it somewhere else. I don't like the situation either, but I want to pay someone to get up and running again. My car overheated on my way back to Los Angeles. AAA towed it to Mastercraft Motors. It turned out that my radiator needed to be replaced. It was 5pm, I had my 9 year old with me and was pretty sure that I would not be driving home that night but Noah located the part needed and Lino and Will stayed after hours to make sure that I was able to drive home safely that night. I'll be forever grateful to the team at Mastercraft Motors for going above and beyond and making sure that we were taken care of!!

Mike Parsons runs a tight ship at Mastercraft Motors! His thoroughness and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. One of the few shops in town that does mechanical AND body work at the same location.AAA+

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I'm a very satisfied cash paying customer. Willie handled my issue with care, from start to finish. He understood the obstacles I was facing, having to pay out of pocket for my car. He gave me options, throughout the whole experience. We talked, emailed and texted the entire time. I was so comfortable knowing I went to the right body shop. I saved $700+ dollars going to Mastercraft Motors.I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a professional, caring and friendly staff.Today I dropped off burritos, pan dulce and beer to the guys just to show my appreciation to the staff for all.Thank you Mastercraft Motors!!!!

Got in a car accident and bumper came right off. Took it to Mastercraft and it looks as good as new! They made it easier to work with my insurance, gave follow up calls, and gave me the car in better condition than I gave it to them. Highly recommend.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Mike and Noah's team did a wonderful job on both regular maintenance and diagnosing and replacing brakes and rotors. Mastercraft features reasonable pricing and competent, friendly and accommodating auto service

I did not have a regular mechanic in Santa Barbara, as I would go to my hometown to get work done, and now this is my regular spot. The mechanic who I specifically work with is Noah. He goes above and beyond compared to other mechanics I have experience with. I highly recommend going to see him at Mastercraft Motors.

Me and my 2014 Volkswagen Passat were in a fairly major auto accident a couple of months ago. My insurance company, the Auto Club, referred me to Mastercraft Motors in Santa Barbara for their auto body repair services and they did an exceptional job! With the new paint and expert auto body repairs, my car looks better than before the accident and drives like a dream. Nobody would ever know that my car was in such a major accident. Anyway, the service was outstanding and the quality of work unsurpassed. I highly recommend Mastercraft Motors to anyone needing auto body repair or mechanic services in and around Santa Barbara.

I think that the high reviews for this company has been solely based upon accident INSURANCE COVERAGE...in other words vehicle breakdowns not covered by insurance payments are treated differently...my experience was the later...my vehicle was towed in and I was told the problem was "one thing" only to hear 4 days later it something else, I was then quoted a higher repair price.. I do not fully trust this company, for if your insurance company isn't footing the bill for fraudulence work, you will (no insurance coverage charges) so what does that really mean...??? excellent services or thievery. Although, I felt the employees were pleasant and polite, I would honestly seek services otherwise , meaning DO NOT OBTAIN THEIR SERVICES....there is a serious lack of communication and and pricing is highly subjective...

The guys at MasterCraft are the best. When I was picking up my car yesterday Mike was helping a guy navigate his insurance - he literally picked up the phone and called his insurance for him even though the service the guy needed wasn't something MasterCraft does. He just helped him out because that's the kind of place it is.

made appt.. arrived on time.. never heard from them for over 24 hours. I called twice.. finally got Noah.. who said they were way behind and could not promise work for days. I went and picked up my car with zero work done and a whole day and a half lost time

These guys have been so helpful and amazing. I got stuck in a few tricky car situations this past year and they have all been terrific. I am so grateful for them! Living alone for the first time and figuringout how to handle car stuff on my own was daunting, but with mastercraft it was like having a whole office of uncles and cousins, so welcoming and totally willing to talk you through whatever is going on! Thank you guys!!

Seth (the long time owner) left. Now a local towing company took it over. I brought my beloved Eurovan that Seth and team had been taking care of for 7 years for a broken heater coil. It took them 3 tries to "fix" it. I never left the partking lot the first two times because anybody who had test drove the vehicle would notice problems (AC not working, Vents not working). On the 3rd try I took it with AC not working. $1,600 later, I had major issues with my whole ventilation system. And, they tried to sell me on even more work being required as if something else was wrong with the car --criminals.After 7 years working with Mastercraft, I won't ever go back, and, suggest that everyone else who goes there reconsider the new ownership. If you are looking for reliable VW work, go to Cory Motoers 2 block away.3 years later - still paying for this awful service! Just found out I can't pass smog because they forgot to re-attach a hose!!! I called the manager 4 times - they never called me back. Please do NOT use Mastercraft motors for anything. They are horrible.
