I went in for a break and light inspection they said I need a new headlight and that I could come back and get it re checked no charge because I already paid I scheduled it in at another place and finally got the new headlight put n and when I called back now I only had fifteen days to do this, When we spoke they were unclear it had a time limit especially such a short one. and most other places are at least 30 days.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Mario is awesome! Very smart and honest. I am a locksmith and I recommend him to my customers when they need help with complicated vehicle issues. Keep up the good work Mario!

These folks are the greatest. My car needed a DMV re-inspection after an accident. A brake ABS modulator was defective and there was no known source for a new replacement part anywhere in the US at anytime in the future. Mario searched the internet and found a used part 2000 miles away, secured and installed it at a fraction of the cost of what an original would have cost even if it were available. The car passed the DMV test!

came for smog check. everything was great except i had an axxess deal but they denied it for a dumb reason. i would have asked them other questions about my vehicle and possibly got other work done on my vehicle if they hadn't have nickel and dimed me on the smog check axxess deal.Otherwise they were ok. i appreciate that they took me without appointment and were kind and courteous.smog check for my v6 4.0 '09 ford ranger was $50

Personal review: I'm a woman of small stature, and I've unfortunately come to expect to be treated differently than men when I visit 'shops' in general. This was not at all my experience with Lara's. Mario looked me right in the eyes as he explained the issues my vehicle was facing, discussed my options, and even shook my hand at the end of every transaction. My most recent mechanical issues required several visits to the shop (putting miles on my vehicle was required between visits), and each time I was treated with the utmost respect and kindness. How clientele is treated is nearly as important as the services rendered, and I couldn't ask for better customer service than I received at Lara's.Professional review: Instead of encouraging me to throw money at my mechanical issues, Mario encouraged a slower path to repair that he thought could eliminate the need for an expensive fix. As it turns out, he was completely right, and ended up saving me an entire repair bill that I feel I would've been stuck with up front elsewhere. When the time came for our final interaction, he even 'helped me out' with the price. I'm so grateful I chose Lara's.I live nearly an hour away, but after dealing with Mario and his staff at Lara's, they have a customer for life. I know that when I inevitably return, I'll be in good hands.

The people at Laras Auto Repair are amazing and very friendly. They helped me understand what was wrong with my car and provided me with great service. They showed me what had been done to the car so I could see their work. They communicated very well with me and provided me with all and any information I needed regarding my car. I highly recommend coming here for getting your car fixed!

I came for a DMV brake and light inspection to re-register a salvage title for a vehicle. I left a satisfied customer, and feel like I have a honest car maintenance shop for future use. Thanks everybody, great customer service is what builds a good business.

We took our 79 dodge camper van here and didn t understand much about cars. They helped us understand what was happening each step of the way and worked tirelessly on the diagnostic and getting parts in to ensure we were back on the road as soon as possible. Couldn t recommend them more!!

Can't give more than 5 stars.Was told by a tire dealer that I'd have to take my Crossfire to the dealer located in Ventura to make a repair. Lara's did it in just a few hours. I'm very appreciative.

Quick and pleasant work on smog checks. They even checked tire pressure (and topped them off) at no extra charge.
