Soooo sketchy !Not only did J&S East Valley Garage destroy my door and never remedied it but to make matters worse the only job I thought they did do okay, which was installing 'new' lower control arms, only to now find out they did no such thing ! The two lower arms are completely different from each other ! My Driver side is normal and good where my passenger side is a completely different make and USED !I went to Superior Brakes to get my front drums converted to disc brakes today and sure enough they tell me that my control arm is bent ! The same arm J&S East Valley Garage installed ! They say the arm has been in an accident and is round where it should be square where my other arm driver arm is normal. They said clearly your car hasn't been in an accident, but the arm has! They told me it's a used arm from another car! J&S put a used arm on my ride ! Who does that !?I go back to the invoices and looked at the parts - they over charged me for virtually everything !"C6168-111B Control Arm" they charged me $175.50 each when they cost $132.95, thats $40 over charge per arm and I had 2, plus one of the arms isn't even that arm !Then I look at these horrible KYB 4513 Front Shocks they put on with the control arms, they charged me $66.35 x 2 when retail is $33.03, thats literally double what they cost !Thats over $100 overcharge in retail parts inflation ! That is beyond dishonest and messed up, on top of destroying my driver door! Totally lost all faith in these clowns aka J&S East Valley Garage.Don't bother going here!Update : Jan 2019 -Ran into Tommy, the mechanic, who tried to fight me at O'Reilly's on Milpas avenue for leaving this review what a joke.If the shoe fits

I can t say enough good things about Hunter and Tommy.I was very hesitant to take my vehicle to any shop to install a supercharger in my vehicle. Hunters training and experience made it a no brainer.Hunter and Tommy made this a slam dunk. My truck was done in a very respectful amount of time. I was very surprised.After the first few days I had a few questions. I was able to call Hunter and he explained my questions to me. He also stated that if there was any issue what so ever that I could go by the shop to have him or Tommy inspect it.I highly recommend this shop.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

So I had never been here before but was referred by a friend and I gotta say I'm a customer for life now. Hunter was so professional and worked with my schedule (I had to cancel day of because of a meeting) and he was super understanding and he also helped me diagnose the problem and showed me step by step what was wrong rather than just throwing parts and money at it, he went in to actually fix the problem. Thanks again guys!

Wow. What a waste of time all those years I went to Goleta and downtown SB auto body shops and mechanics thinking some place in Montecito had to be more expensive/didn t have as big an operation. This place has it all plus old school A+ customer service. Hunter and Tommy are on the ball, know what they re doing, great communicators, and they get the job done (and well) and go above and beyond ON TIME. They ve worked on my Teslas, Porsche (even my RV - which they don t make a habit of, but boy do they blow the RV service people out of the water), and I ve NEVER once been disappointed. Their prices are just as competitive as those other places and they re walking distance to my house :), so that makes my life easy. Don t think twice about coming here. I had gotten into a bad car accident while out grocery shopping in the Woodland Hills area. The car needed to get towed to a body shop to get fixed. I called my insurance company and they called these guys for me. These guys were wonderful they got to me very quickly and with great care had my car on the flat bed. They took me to the body shop that I wanted them to and they even offered to take me home afterwards. Wonderful service you guys, your friendly service made me much more relaxed and happy.

Best place to have your truck worked on. I'm only having my Cummins worked on here. Always fun to see the variety of vehicles on the lifts and the owner and team there are fun and know their stuff. Highly recommend if you have a classic or special project car.

We had our son's 67 Camero updated and major repairs. Their work is amazing, their love for Hot Rods amazing, and their integrity amazing. Our son is flying home next week and will be amazed.

If you need your hot rod, classic, Exotic or domestic, worked on or serviced, Hunter at J&S is the place to go. The guy is walking encyclopedia. has helped me with many of my own issues that arose. last his work craft, he takes extreme pride in his work!
