The main pump in our aquarium store was screaming this morning risking the life of $60k worth of corals and fish. Took my leaking Jacuzzi motor to a reputable company for a new seal and they told me it was shot and I needed a new electric 2 speed motor for a cost of $750. I have dealt with these people before and they are good, honest guys - but they just didn't have the know-how. I asked them to suggest an electric motor expert and they directed me to Paul at Electro Mechanical Repair.I told Paul to take his time and get back to me after he assessed the situation. Paul called me the next day and described the needed repair and quoted me a price. It was done a day after that. Paul had replaced the seal and the bearings, cleaned and painted the motor for about $200. I put it into the Jacuzzi and it works great.I would highly recommend Electro Mechanical Repair as ethical and competent.
