Awesome - I highly recommend this place!! David is such a great guy - so fair and helpful, and very knowledgeable about German cars. And he won't overcharge you. The air suspension on my 2018 BMW X5 malfunctioned while we were visiting SB from the Bay Area for the week and David was able to quickly diagnose & re-route the wiring (which a previous mechanic had screwed up) to correct the issue and get us back on the road the same day and at no charge! My wife & I were so happy! So honest and fair - I will definitely be taking my car back here! I just wish we lived closer. David is simply amazing.

I have been going to this shop for at least 2 decades. David has always been extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Fair prices and quality service. Im very thankful for the work they have done in all of my vehicles. Thanks guys and I definitely recommend this auto shop.Update: 1 year later. Another phenomenal experience here. I had my car serviced and once again excellent job ,professionally done in a timely manner. Thanks David and his team.

This guy is just simply amazing. If you have a German car this is the place to go. People like David don't exist anymore. He is really really fair and has the best attitude. He is also a very hardworking individual who loves his job. He cares about you and wants you to come back. I have been dealing with him for 3 or 4 years and everytime is like the first time in the way he greets me and deals with the car. No hidden fees, no haggling, and most importantly no bad attitude.

My name is Margaret- I have been taking care of a very sick cat and two very sock people. I was on my way to get a prescription and my car broke down. I had a friend tell me a mechanic but nobody felt confident about where I should go. The AAA checked my car and the hybrid system had a warning light on. I looked it up and I was looking at $1500-3000 for a new hybrid battery. The AAA driver suggested I take it to David at this shop. I was nervous and agreed to drop it off. The next morning my cat has a stroke and I really needed my car. Friends didn t want to drive me around because of Covid-19. I called at 10:30am and they were still trying to figure it out. Around 12:30pm I got a call, my dash sensors were out and I had previously been shown that I had a 1/2 a tank of gas. David said we put some gas in it and you are good to go- no charge. I was crying with relief. If he had been dishonest he could have charged me a lot or he could have charged me at least for labor and gas. When I arrived I just gave him all the cash I had on me. I will be talk my car back here. I have never met someone more kind or honest. Know you are in good hands if you take your vehicle here. Amazing.

The first time i pulled up at Classic Design, I was warmly greeted by David and his dog Smokey. David was very helpful in assisting me with my problem on 2004 Mercedes C240. Superior service, and very knowledgeable. I will definitely bring my Mercedes back here- thanks David!!

I have just bought myself a 1986 bmw 325e and absolutely love this car. I had worked out it for a while trying to tune it up as much as possible.. me not being a car guy.. basically put new coolant and pumped the tires up lol. David is the most nice chill easy to get along with guy. Always honest with me. He fixed my revving on my little piece of junk car and told me what parts I would need to make it even better. Forever greatful and thankful to David and Tike for looking at my car super nice guys and can hold a conversation about cars forever super awesome. David is the best kept secret in town where skilled and dedicated owner works on the cars himself! My whole family been his loyal customers for years and I drove here all the way from San Jose to see what the fuss is all about and address all my automotive needs. Car restoration has become my newly found hobby, but nobody knows cars like David. He is truly The Car Guru when it comes to any complex repairs and perfectly done body work at amazing prices! Real down to earth guy and exceptional master. Thanks for everything man!

Anyway, it was the first time I had work done here and I was extremely happy with the service and so grateful for the generous price break David gave me! ....... #1 mechanic! Always the best experience. David is very polite and knowledgeable. I understand nothing about cars that is why having such a trustworthy mechanic is very important. I highly recommend the Clasic Design shop to everyone.

I got into a minor accident resulting in cosmetic work on the surface of the car where paint got damanged and needed a quick paint job - nothing more, nothing less! Other body shops were quoting me insane prices and telling me the entire body part needed a replacement. When I brought my car to Classis Design, David was upfront about the damages and very reasonable with a price for the paint job without trying to swindle me for unnecessary repairs to get more money. He matched the colors that blended in perfectly with the rest of the car and i got my car hustle free in two days! Overall an excellent experience and will definetely return next time when I need work done on the car (knock on wood, hope no more accidents)- Happy customer

Repeat customer 10x+ for entire family. Classic Design does exceptional work and Dave is easy to work with. Accidents start with a headache and nicely resolved when Dave takes over and he knows how to work with insurance reps professionally.

The best place to go if you need your car fixed the owner is very nice and knows what he's doing even the price is really good so try them before going to other places High recommended five star
