I wanted to like this auto mechanic shop C & $ automotive. The people seem to be good people. Plus it was highly recommended by several good friends. Coming from LA where mechanics do not charge you an arm and a leg. Maybe because this is a small town but the 3 times I have needed to get something replaced on my car. They quoted me an insane amount of money. These were 3 different places.

C&S came through on a repair when nobody else would take the time needed for troubleshooting. Went back a second time for some other routine maintenance. Great service. Thanks so much.

These guys are very trustworthy. I never feel like I m being upsold or taken advantage of. They are very timely in getting the work done. Even though I have to get scheduled out in advance because of how busy there are I do not mind. It s worth it for the quality of work. These guys have been servicing mine and my husband's cars (well one is a truck) for years. They do good work, have it done when you expect it and don't charge you a crazy amount. Everyone is looking for mechanics they can trust so I send all my friends here.

C&S is an all around excellent shop. I've taken several different cars there for weird problems, normal problems, routine maintenance, custom work, etc. They are very thorough and are great at diagnosing issues. I've been very happy with their work in the ~10 years I've been going there.

I wouldn't take my car anywhere other than C & S Automotive. Very reliable, knowledgable & trustworthy mechanics. They always get the job done in a timely & efficient manner with competative prices. Best mechanics in town!!!!

This guys were amazing!We needed to check our water bomb as it wasn�t working, and the guys checked at it and fix it for free! We were attended by Josh, very nice guy, and told us that it was obstructed because the car hasn't been used for a while. We really recomend this place!

Best work in Santa Barbara. Very honest and thorough. Only downside is you have to get an appointment a few days in advance.

Always get expert service here. Very reasonable prices for maintenance. Best thing is that they are honest and will not try to sell you things that are not needed.
