Jimmy T. was very easy and pleasant to work with. His enthusiasm in showing us the different fun features of the car tells us he enjoys his work. It's always so much nicer interacting with someone who likes their work! Carlos, the product specialist was very helpful in walking me through the rest of the special features and I was able to reach him with questions and get answers via text. Makes things so much more efficient. The place was clean and spacious. Overall friendly staff. We highly recommend this dealership.

I am a returning customer, and wanted to share my great experience with the BMW dealership.(SB Auto Group)I can honestly say that working with Jimmy and the team from start to finish was fantastic! Jimmy was knowledgeable, friendly and was patient while we all figured out the best fit for us. He was helpful in us making a decision.He then handed me over to Carlos who was a lovely young man, patient and sweet, and helpful, and helped me download the My BMW App, and guided me through the entire thing. He also checked in with me to say that he s there for any questions I may have regarding the vehicle.Jimmy also checked in to make sure things were good and informed me that the cargo mat was ready for pick up. All in all I can say that my experience was fantastic from start to finish. Thank you! I will continue to be a SB Auto Group customer.

Great service! Jimmy was easy to work with. He was friendly, professional, and not pushy. The sales process was clear and smooth. Jimmy had all the paperwork ready to be signed and the overall time spent was minimal. Chad was very knowledgeable about the BMW tech and answered all of our questions. My overall impression was that Santa Barbara BMW cares about their customers and sets a high standard on excellence.

They have helped me with maintenance over the past few years and were extremely helpful in trading in my current car and purchasing a new one. Jeffrey Knepp and the entire sales team were WONDERFUL to work with. I came in looking for an M440 convertible. Though they didn t have the right car in stock, they quickly found a perfect option at another local dealership and had it shipped the next day at the price so was looking for so that I could purchase it right away. I ve bought a lot of cars through the years and have never had an easier more wonderful experience! I also service my other BMW there and have always been super happy.Thanks again Jeff! This probably the best experience I've ever had at an automobile dealership anywhere at SB BMW. Jeffrey was super knowledgeable, helpful, and no pressure at all. Chad is the all knowing expert. He knows the answer and knows these cars.Very impressed.

A piece of gravel flew into one of my BMW's parking sensors and damaged it, so I brought it to BMW Santa Barbara for repairs. Everyone I interacted with, from the service advisor to the salesman who greeted me when I walked in the door was friendly and helpful.The service was quick and reasonably priced. The parking sensor was special order, but the dealership managed to have the part shipped overnight and repairs were finished the next day. Loaner cars and the dealership's Mercedes van are available for transportation which makes things convenient.For routine maintenance and repairs, I trust BMW Santa Barbara with my car, and I will definitely consider purchasing my next vehicle from them too.

Santa Barbara BMW over delivered on my expectations for a sales experience. I had been looking for a 2023 BMW X5 45e all over the southern California area. After two weeks, I was in contract with no less than 7 Los Angeles area dealerships and was getting extremely frustrated. From salespeople simply not responding to salespeople sending me pricing for an X3, to receiving emails from four people at one South Bay location, yet not one of them following up to answer questions or provide pricing. I finally expanded my search to Santa Barbara BMW and Jimmy Trieste immediately responded with answers to all my questions on the X5 I found on their website, provided pricing options, and negotiated my BMW lease trade all in under 24-hours. Jimmy knew it was a long drive for me to get to Santa Barbra from LA and traffic would be bad on a Saturday, so he arranged all the paperwork to be sent ahead of time electronically. When I arrived at the dealership, he had my new X5 waiting for me out front, took the keys to my BMW and already had their tech specialist waiting next to my car to set up my phone and get the technology synced. He then showed me to the finance office who was ready and waiting for me and the paperwork was finalized in under 20 minutes. All told I was in and out of BMW Santa Barbara, driving my new X5 in UNDER AN HOUR! This is my 5th BWM, and I have never received that kind of service. It was incredible. When I got into my new X5 there was a gift box waiting for me on the seat with goodies from BMW Santa Barbara too! Previously, I purchased 3 BMWs from the same dealer and never got so much as a keychain as a thank you from them. This was my first experience at BMW Santa Barbara, but it will not be my last. I highly recommend Jimmy, he will take care of you, make the process painless and ensure you get exactly the type of service you expect from BMW.

I recently leased a car from SB BMW, and I m very pleased with the ease of the whole process. I live in LA, but decided to go to the SB location, since I had heard such fantastic things about them.After Jeff Knepp helped me build the model I wanted, he ordered it, and followed up multiple times with me to let me know the status of it. He also assisted me with trading in my old car. I appreciate the professional and caring nature he, and the whole staff, extended to me. All together, it was a smooth experience and I would definitely recommend this dealership. It s safe to say that I drove away in my new car very happy!

Just traded in my old car and picked up a new BMW from Santa Barbara Motor Group and the transaction was seamless. I don't think I was there longer than an hour before I drove off w/ my new car. Customer service was top notch, they didn't peddle extras like extender service or warranty contracts, so paint sealant, undercoating or scotch-guard nonsense. Will certainly do business w/ the again. Chris Nelson was a pleasure to work with.

Santa Barbara BMW is the best car buying experience I've ever incountered. Kegan and Max we're incredible to work with as was the entire staff. I found the car I was interested in on line. I called with my trade in information. When I arrived at the dealership it was simple. I did a test drive, then looked at the proposal written for me. It was very fair and straightforward-no funny car dealership stuff. I was in and out with my new BMW in less than 90 minutes. Honestly can't think of ever buying a car made so painless. No haggling, no extra add on. Just a great experience all the way around.I'll never shop anywhere else.

We cannot say enough good things about Santa Barbara Auto Group and Jeff Knepp!! Absolutely phenomenal. We have purchased so many cars throughout the years and this was by far the best experience! Jeff Knepp was so responsive and answered any questions we had right away. He was beyond professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The entire process was flawless - no haggling - just flat out impressive, and most of all price was at MSRP!! Especially with all the chip shortage and all. They made the entire process so easy even though we re nearly 400 miles away. Do not hesitate to work with sbautogroup.- you ll regret it if you don t! We will definitely be back and order my BMW 2023 m3 xdrive and maybe porsche, thank you again Jeff and the rest of the Santa Barbara Auto Group!!

Jeff Knepp, Internet Sales Manager, made my BMW purchase experience the best car buying experience I have had. I highly recommend him! He was quick , efficient , customer focused and honest. His goal is for the customer to leave happy .... and I am . I came all the way from Los Angeles to buy from Jeff. Not only do I recommend Jeff, but I recommend Santa Barbara Auto Group . Called on a Saturday to schedule a car maintenance only to meet the most rude receptionist who seemed surprised that im calling at 5 (even if they're working hours are till 6pm), i wanted to schedule maintenance for my car where to she told me to call back on monday because no one is in (Monday is MLK day). Before i could ask if she mistook what day it is she hung up on me. I would like to say this is the first time something went wrong with them, but i had issues where they would forget my appointments and also where they were questioning me about ownership of my own car when coming to pick it up. I've been to a few different BMW dealerships and by far this one is constantly the worse.

I just had the best experience with the Service Department at BMW Santa Barbara. I had a tire that badly needed replacing, am visiting from out of town and have roadside hazard insurance. All of which meant, I needed a new tire quickly but also needed to navigate insurance paperwork and approvals. Sean Mulroy at the BMW Service Dept managed it all. He worked with my insurance company and got my tire replaced all within a very short time. He was patient and efficient, and I wish I could give more stars. Thank you Sean and the BMW Service Dept!

Jeff Knepp at Santa Barbara BMW is the best! I would highly recommend him to all of my closest family and friends. I called around to over 20 different dealerships to find a X5 45e that had all the features and options I wanted. Thankfully Jeff had one that just came in that day that wasn t purchased yet (which is rare these days). He was very friendly and helpful right when he answered the phone. I said I was interested and so he took some photos and emailed them to me and also did a FaceTime video call to show me more up close. I told him and I am interested and live 3 hours away and so he recommended that I take the train to the nearest train station and that he would pick me up. Jeff was very straightforward and honest throughout the entire process, unlike many of the other salesman that I spoke to. In fact, he is the only one who offered me the California $1,500 EV rebate before I brought it up first. Got the car at MSRP and after factoring that in, it is below MSRP since it is deducted right away from the price. Some other dealers were charging $5-10k market adjustment and didn t even offer the rebate.

I am so happy with my new 2017 x3! My buying experience was the best I have ever had thanks to Kyle Hogland. Patient, honest, straight forward and fun to work with. The whole staff from sales to management to finance was impeccable. If you want an easy laid back environment to buying a BMW this is the place to go! No push, no hassles, no surprises!

I brought my BMW 328i to this dealership while it still had a year left on the warranty. There were a few concerns with my car including a couple drops of oil I had recently noticed on my garage floor (which I took a picture of at the time and still have). They did an oil change and said the oil levels looked fine, so not to worry. I ended up having 2 oil changes and my car inspected there 3 times total. The last was right before the warranty expired in case there was anything that needed fixing. A few months later, I noticed oil again on my garage floor (no other car ever parks there and I typically do not see the garage floor since I'm not otherwise in my garage). When I took my car to an independent BMW mechanic, they immediately diagnosed the issue and fixed my car. Without relaying the situation from the BMW dealership, I asked if it was hard to find. They replied that this leak (from a control arm bushing - NOT engine oil) is common and easily noticeable - not behind any panels. My car is definitely no longer leaking oil since I've been checking regularly now. I wouldn't trust this dealership with anything especially not your BMW. This should have been covered under my warranty. I contacted the appropriate parties in the service department all the way up to the General Manager to let them know what happened.

Our interaction with Jeff Knepp, internet sales manager at BMW Santa Barbara was among the poorest of experiences a customer can have. I was helping my friend with the purchase of a brand new BMW X6 M. Jeff gave us a good price and we agreed to proceed with the deal. Then he told my friend that his credit wasn t approved. Something we find highly suspect considering he has perfect credit history and an 800+ score. When I asked nicely via email if my friend could speak directly with someone at BMW Financial Services about what we felt must have been a mistake, he curtly replied via email Most definitely not. Here we are in the final stages of purchasing one of the most expensive cars BMW sells and his attitude is effectively my way or the highway. When I said that I didn t appreciate that curt reply and simply wanted to have a discussion with whoever his credit was turned down by, Jeff got further antagonistic. I ve dealt with over half a dozen BMW dealerships in my life and Jeff gives a bad name to BMW Santa Barbara. They literally lost the sale of a $100K vehicle because Jeff was extremely rude.

I purchased an used BMW here, from Kyle Hogland. Great experience! I highly recommend Kyle to anyone looking for a refreshing experience when buying a car from a dealer. He is cordial, attentive and I am very satisfied with the purchase price. I will come back to Kyle for my next car (M5!)
