Had a windshield replaced and installation was done incorrectly, the seal was too low on top and tight on one side.They wouldn't stand behind their work and suggested I have another glass company do it and they would reimburse the cost.It took me a couple months to find someone with the help from my insurance to get a proper install which was preformed by Safellite Auto Glass and the result was night and day difference.I always prefer to work with a local company, it will never be with ABS Glass.Good luck with this company.

These folks are the best! My house is going on the market next week so we ve had lots of work crews coming and going over the past 3-4 days to make sure that every last sq foot of the property is in perfect condition. Unfortunately, one of them accidentally broke a very large window pane in one of the French doors oops, It happens, but yikes! I thought for sure we d have to delay our listing in order to get the repairs done, which super bummed me out. ABS to the rescue! A rep came out to my property at a moments notice to measure and special order the new glass, and within 4 days it was delivered and installed! ABS is awesome! Friendly, professional, and here s what really surprised me, considering the rush job their pricing is very reasonable! Thank you thank you thank you!

Needed a glass replacement. I called ABS and they were the only vendor that was able to finish the job the same day, in fact they were done within 5 hours of me calling. They were very professional, fast and great customer service.I would highly recommend them and I will use them again.

Replacement of a small pane of glass meant delays and calling at every step of the way rather than the office communicating with me. The replacement technician was a no show, with no explanation. After rescheduling, he showed up over an hour early, and woke me up pounding on my front door - a phone call would have been appreciated there, too. The final insult was the bill with labor charges of $180 for a non-complex job that took 30 minutes. That means you're charging labor at $360/hour. Even my specialist physicians don't charge that much. Surely when you give an estimate you have a good idea of how long a job will take and know that the customer does not. I will remember in the future that you took advantage, and I will certainly look for a different vendor who cares about customer satisfaction and giving good value.

The large bay window at my office was shattered on two occasions. The property manager called ABS Glass to deal with boarding up the window and replacing the broken window. The folks at ABS were courteous, extremely professional and their work is excellent. I recommend them without reservation.

ABS changed out our shower enclosure. Flavio came out quickly to give a quote, and the price was reasonable. Maria in the office was super helpful throughout the process. The quote was emailed and thorough, and it was quick to order and install the enclosure. No surprises. We are very happy with the result.

ABS Glass replaced 7 of my failed double pane windows. I expressed an interest in learning the process which they shared with me in the process. My two takeaways is I likely will not be trying to do this work myself in the future and their attention to detail/quality was very impressive. I will use ABS for all of my glass work going forward and I recommend that you do to.

ABS Glass very graciously came out to replace a couple of small pieces of cracked window glass at our house. They were very professional, fairly priced and there was no drama. We were so happy with them that had them come back at a later date to replace other glass at the house Now they are definitely our "go to glass company" in the Santa Barbara area. We would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent place. I been doing business with ABS for 20 years and I have yet have a vehicle return due to workmanship or product defect. I refer all my customer, friends, and family to ABS. Thanks to Ivan, his office crew and Jeff with his mobile crew.

We've used ABS for 2 shower doors, window repairs, and door installation. They are always quick in coming out for bids, and quick in getting the jobs done. We've never had any issues with their installations.

I had ABS Glass Do my new Shower Glass in my new bathroom remodel and they did the most fabulous job I could ever ask for. They were on time and very professional through the whole experience. I was so impressed that I had them give me a bid to replace all the windows in my house and I am definetly going to use them to do that job also. I would recommend them to anyone looking for great service and price.

I got a referral to ABS GLASS from the man who repairs my vehicles whose opinion I trust implicitly. He said to go there, and I will again, and definitely WILL refer people to them. I got a cracked windshield on a drive in a windstorm and they made the replacement process completely easy. They had the 1995 windshield in stock, they dealt with the insurance company, it was installed the next morning and looks beautiful.

Our window for the front of our business was broken overnight in Downtown SB. I contacted ABS first thing in the morning and they had my window replaced by the end of business that same day. I have gone to them for many needs over the years, and they did an excellent job as always.

Do not use them to replace your windshield! Most unprofessional and mismanaged company I have ever done business with. Day 1, got the windshield installed but literally had to wait all day for them. Day 2, noticed a problem with the install, called and set up an appointment to get it fixed. (keep in mind I am having to call as my phone calls were not being returned). Day 5 (Friday), appointment was for 10-11am, manager calls at 11:05am that they weren't going to make it to the appointment, but they will be here at 1-2pm. Guess what? They didn't show up. Manager calls at 3:45pm telling me they are running late. By this time I am steaming. I got off work in 15 minutes, but they weren't going to make it for another 30, and the manager asks me to wait so they can at least look at it. I wasted a whole day in 1 location, when I had work to do in multiple locations. Thanks for wasting my time. Manager said he would call me on Monday, since I wasn't going to wait. You would think he would call fist thing Monday, nope I get a call at 11:15am. Clearly their customers aren't their top priority. Make an appointment, they don't stick to it. Manager tells you one thing, and another thing happens. Call you first thing, and in actuality half a day blows by. Never Again.

I should've read the reviews or gone with my first instinct and taken my car elsewhere. I heard that this place was good from a friend but I may have mistaken it for the other glass place in town that sounds similar. Firstly when I made the appointment I gave my credit card deposit and was told I'd receive a call back for scheduling, that didn't happen...I called back the following day and the guy who picked up the phone said he got busy and didn't even order my windshield. I brushed it off and decided to schedule the appointment for the following week. When I took my car in for my 1pm apt only the front desk woman was there. She said it would be a few hours untilMy windshield was finished which I thought was a long time but what could I do. I called back a few hours later and she said the latest would be 4/430. She also said that the guys didn't start working on my car until 2pm?! 515 rolls around and by that point I'm a bit annoyed. I called the woman at the front desk and she starts to yell at me stating that this is normal and blah blah blah. I didn't even know what to say. It was finally done at 530. That's 4.5 hours, pretty ridiculous. If I was told upfront that it would take that long I would've planned for it. But the rude demeanor and poor customer service is what left a bad taste in my mouth. Take your car somewhere else you don't want to deal with this company.

3 years ago we remodeled our home and ABS got the bid to install the shower glass in three bathrooms. They did an excellent job in installing and meet all of our expectations. Recently in our master bath, the glass door which is frameless, started to hit the fixed glass panel. They came out and adjusted the door which fixed the problem for about 6 months. When we called them back out they had to order a new panel that would allow for additional adjustment. They did not charge us for the glass or a service charge. That's what I call Great Customer Service!! Thanks Cecilio....

So happy with all of the work this company has done for us. Three windows and a shower door. All good quality, service was exemplarity from the front desk to the installers. Polite, responsive, respectful, and solid working ethics. Love this company and will use them again and again as we have many more windows to replace!

This is very bad company. This company is irresponsible company. My window glass was changed in August at ABS. I don't think they have good service. First, I bought the glass and make a appointment to them, but when I come to there to fix my car. They told me I can't fix because they received wrong glasses, so I had to make appointment again and come to there again. Second, I don't think the glasses quality is good because my glasses broken in September, but it was not big. So when I came to there to fix my glasses, it was complete broken by the ABS worker. That day is so hot, I asked them to wait my glasses become clod to fix, but they don't listen. After they just said it broke, you need pay money buy a new one. I will never come to this company.

My window broke. I called the local vendor in Carpinteria and got a quote. I then called A and B glass in Santa Barbara thinking i was calling ABS glass co. who had fixed the window four years ago. I got a quote i was happy with and confirmed their location, and asked if they had moved in the last few years because the address was different. She said yes we moved a couple years ago. When i arrived and the glass technician looked at the window which has a crossbar design the quote more than doubled. I took the window and drove to the place where i had previously fixed it four years earlier and realized i had called the wrong company. When i arrived Ivan greeted me gave me a fair quote and repaired the window perfectly. This is my second really great experience with ABS glass. I'll be telling all my friends and neighbors about them.

We had a car window broken while on vacation in San Luis Obispo. They were the only company able to replace it the next day before driving back to Oregon. Had the glass delivered and replaced by the next morning. Can t thank them enough!

Absolutely the best company to hire. Trust worthy, honest and get the job done.We have an old building that needed repair on the windows....They figured out a way to fix it that did not require replacement of the entire window. Way to go guys.Have hired them multiple times and have never been disappointed.They are reliable, affordable and honest.Thanks again.Bobbi

Took my Toyota Rav4 to ABS Glass for a chip repair on my windshield, no runs, no cracks. A guy named HOWARD told me it would take 15 minutes to fix it and cost me $29.95. After the first 2 attempts that he tried to seal it, the chip was still there. THIS should have been a clue to me that this guy DOES NOT know what's he's doing. He tried to do it again. Only this time, he cracked my windshield with 2 runs, one with about 4 inches and the other about 8. He told me that it was part of the service, and said that I have to replace it now. He said he would charge me $185 and I have to leave my car there for 3 hours. I left there disgusted. This guy is a crook. Not only he didn't do the job, he made it worse and then tried to charge me a lot more money for it.I took my car to Best Price Auto Glass on 891 1/2 Kellog Ave. These guys replaced it for $177 in 45 minutes while I waited.Shop around, and definitely avoid this ABS Glass service all together, especially the guy named HOWARD there.

As builder in town I have been using ABS glass for all my glass needs for many years. Be it Shower Doors, Mirrors, Window & Door glass or specialty glass (tempered, glue chip, bullet proof, etc) they do it all and do it well. Put your needs in the hands of Howard, Robert & Jody and you won't regret it, there the best!

This is our 5th time using ABS glass. Twice we had them change solid wood doors into glass doors with wood frames and three times they created shower doors (frameless) for us. The work is beautiful, fast, and very reasonably priced.

I replaced my windshield with ABS Glass, and I would never do it again with them because of their terrible customer service.I felt like they didn't need my business, and I was very offended by the lady who works at the desk. She is always very rude and uncaring. I wasn't sure if half the time she was just humoring me when she would say that she'd give Howard a message.I tried multiple times to work with Howard on a large job for my house and he took no interest nor told me that he would never ever get back to me.I wouldn't give them my business again and I would pay the extra dollar to feel good about my purchase.

I needed a floor-to-ceiling mirror removed, cut and placed elsewhere.The two men that came were very polite, shook my hand, and were careful with the job.I highly recommend AS Glass. They are friendly and professional.

Went to ABS glass for a big job, had a local referral there from a friend. They seemed ok at first although they didn't call me back numerous times. After several weeks of being told they were busy and basically being not called back etc for about 2 1/2 months I started to wonder what was going on. They kept telling me different reasons for them not giving a quote for the job even though their estimator had been to the job site and taken measurements etc. They kept assuring me that the job would get done and were very apologetic about the unexplainable delays, this got old after another month. Basically after 3 1/2 months they got pretty rude with their communication and the end of it I decided to take the job to Callenders House of Glass on De La Vina. The owner Howard seemed to have no control over his company and I will definitely never return there. In all honesty dealing with ABS Glass was one of the biggest jokes ever. I could not think of anything positive to say about it all if I sat in front of this computer screen all day. So there it is I hate to give a negative review, but this business is a joke.
