We experienced some unexpected car troubles on a road trip, and everyone at A-1 was extremely helpful. They were transparent, honest, kind, and quick in their assessment. They took the time to show us what was wrong and looked at multiple stores to try to find the part needed even though it was late in the day. If we lived in the area, we would absolutely go back to them for all of our car maintenance. Highly recommend!

This man is fair and honest I called him from Texas to let him know my son was new to his area and needed his car repaired . He took it to him and he fixed it for half of what another shop quoted him( was a bad alternator) if you in the area and need anything the man s name is Hoss and he will treat you right.

I was recommended this place by a friend, and they did not disappoint. They were affordable, friendly, and very professional. I'm so used to getting screwed over by mechanics but I know I can trust a1 with all of my car troubles. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends, and going back for all my repairs and tune ups. Cant thank these guys enough.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Auto maintenance

It is always a great experience to go to A1 Auto Repair Shop, everyone is really friendly. They did great job with my car and I didn't even have to buy a replacement for the piece that was not working. It is hard to find a good mechanic and they are excellent. Hass is helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. By far the best car shop in Santa Barbara. :)

They helped me out and I was back on the road quickly. Excellent customer service!!I was vacationing in Santa Barbara when I began having issues with my car. Gave these guys a call due to good reviews and they were able to check my car our upon arrival, despite their busy work load.

I had trouble for a long time with my old mechanics I ve used in the past Hoss was very friendly and fixed my truck and it s been running perfect since I ve started seeing him. Fast and affordable I have my entire family use his shop!

Great service . I needed a starter put in my Isuzu rodeo every other shop I called came in at 500+ they did it for 200 . And had it done in a day . Will be using them for all my auto repair needs from now on :) thanks again guys :)

I went for vacation to Santa Barbara and the car broke down, Hoss took care of me, great guy, fast service and reasonable price. I will recommend 100%.

Recommend highly great customer service for very reasonable price on car repair ..I will always use this for my auto repairs . It s behind the Glasses Outlet so missed it driving first time definitely a hidden gem !
