Had a great experience purchasing a used car. I live 400 miles away and Jim Wren offered to hold the car while I made plans to fly down and check it out. I was worried that I would arrive and the car would have been sold but the dealer kept their word and held it for me. Overall it was the best car purchasing experience I ve had in my life so far. What an amazing car leasing process! Kudos to Brandon, Shawn, and Herb for making my wife and I feel the most comfortable leasing our first EV. They were patient as we explored all the leasing and purchasing options before making the best decision for us. We love our new ID.4 and will definitely be back to work with Brandon and his team in the future. I anticipate that if we have any issues with the car that we'll be able to come back to Brandon and his team for their help, guidance, and support. Highly recommend VW South Coast!

I visited the dealership on December 14th, they were helpful without being pushy, Sean the manager explained all options and got me the most rebate amount possible for my ID4. Gustavo was my sales person who went above and beyond his way to give me the best possible deal. When I told my friends about how good a deal I got they were so surprised.Thank you guys

1. It was great to get a video of the service! They send it to your phone!2. However, there was something mentioned in the video, but I was not reminded about it at the check out and I forgot to ask.3. The service took about 30 min longer, but I was glad to get an appointment when it was convenient for me.4. Prices are high, but it goes for the whole VW dealership world, not just this location.5. Overall, even though 3 different people kept on passing me from one representative to another, I ended up heard and taken care off, with ALL my questions answered.

I was shopping for a car for a couple months, and kept getting bait and switch offers from other Orange County dealers.VW South Cost was the first and only dealer to follow through on what we discussed via text. Jose had the exact car and exact deal ready when I arrived. He was a pleasure to work with, as was the finance team. I m loving it!! Great dealership and awesome car. Quickest buying experience of my life, did credit app at home. Took around 2hrs on a Monday afternoon and left with my new ID4. Glad I met Johnny when visiting the dealership, went in thought I knew exactly what I wanted. Was planning to order the lowest priced base model Pro, Johnny told me pros and cons with base model Pro vs Pro S. So glad he went in depth regarding the $5k difference, I ended up ordering Pro S. Been driving for a week, would have regretted big time if ended up with the base model. Nothing beats the kids asking daddy to see the moon, their WOW reaction is priceless thank you Johnny!

After a really bad experience, Mitchell and his boss Natasha fixed the problem caused by Eric, the service guy. It's amazing to see how much they care and how they made everything go smoothly again. I want to say a big thank you to Natasha and Michelle for being so helpful. Because of them, I'll keep coming back.

The car itself is not up to the standards that we thought it should be. Overall the look is great. But there is a major disappointment about the break which is making a very loud squishy noise every time we step on the break/release the break, and/or ease into the break. We brought the car back for the service department to inspect; however, the break noise continued going on like we were driving a very old car that was breaking down. We were told by the service advisor that this is just how Volkswagen's breaks are built--the noise comes with it and nothing else they can do. I think it is unacceptable for us to endure this noise problem while driving a brand-new car! I hope Volkswagen dealers can do something. There should be a way to fix this problem so that the customers' experience with a new car is stress-free. I look forward to hearing from you back.1/23/24 Update Rating to four stars.Thanks to the GM's prompt attention & response and his Staff, particularly the Service Department. The issue was somewhat improved, and we hope it stays good for a long time. Otherwise, I believe they will try to help if more help is needed.

I loved working with Eric. however the problem is not solved. saying that it is a VW issue over all. that when the fix happens I will be notified. That is disappointing to know I am leasing a car thta has an issue. My sales person said he had never seen this happen - that tells me that there are cars out there that do not have a problem. Its not a critical to the driving of the car but the connectivity of the car. That deserves a 1 star :)

I just purchased a new Golf R this week from South Coast VW. They offered the best pricing in the SoCal area. Gustavo helped me through the whole experience, starting with a request for info online, and through the entire process in person. He was excellent to work with, being very responsive and respectful the entire time. I would definitely recommend Gustavo and South Coast VW.

The representatives who handled my account were very kind and helpful. I usually had to call them to get updates as my car was there for over 2 months. They were kind with giving me loaner cars to drive after a while.The only reason I wouldn t give 5 stars is that when my car was finally returned to me the inside was covered in dirt- seats, dash, steering wheel, etc. I told them and they sent someone out to do a quick wipe. It was better but took much more time at home to get it clean and the ac is finally starting to smell normal after smelling like dirt every time I turn it on for the last few days.They said one of their techs must have left the windows cracked when the Santa Ana winds blew through.

We wanted to look at electric vehicles to get an idea of what was out there. Currently we drive a Manual Elantra and an 84 Jeep, so transitioning to all elective was a jump. Our sales associate (Jamie Perez) was sooo great that we drove away in a New ID4 Pro!!! He explained all the bells and whistles, so it wasn t as scary as I imagined. Thank you so much. Recommend this dealership a 100% and ask for Mr. Perez.

We came to this dealership after searching online for a new atlas cross sport. They had lots in stock and were able to give us the best deal possible. Update after 2 months: Mixed Experience with VW DealershipI recently purchased a VW ID.4 from this dealership and initially had a positive experience with the sales team. However, my experience with their service department has left much to be desired.Within just three months of owning the vehicle, I've encountered several issues that have significantly impacted my satisfaction with the car. Firstly, there's a persistent creaking noise emanating from the seats, which the dealership has acknowledged and plans to address by replacing the frame. Additionally, the headliner on the passenger side is popping out, adding to the list of cosmetic defects.Even more concerning is the malfunction with the windows. During cold weather, when I attempt to roll up the window, it inexplicably rolls down instead. This is not only inconvenient but also potentially hazardous, especially during inclement weather conditions.Furthermore, the rear doors don't to close properly, requiring me to exert excessive force to slam it shut. This issue has persisted since day one, despite my repeated attempts to have it rectified.What truly soured my experience, however, was the dealership's policy regarding warranty coverage and service charges. I was informed that any repairs not covered under warranty would be billed at a staggering rate of $208 per hour. This includes seemingly basic adjustments, such as fixing the doors to close properly. Considering the substantial investment I made in purchasing a $55,000 vehicle, it's disheartening to encounter such exorbitant charges for issues that should be addressed under warranty, especially when the car has only amassed 2400 miles in three months.While the sales process was satisfactory, the subsequent experience with the service department has been disappointing and frustrating. Potential buyers should be aware of the potential issues and the dealership's questionable service policies before making a significant investment in a VW vehicle from this establishment.Old review: (I still say hi to Ron when I go there :) )I recently purchased a car at Volkswagen South Coast, and I couldn't be happier with the experience, thanks to Ron Blye. If you can give negative stars that's what I would give. It s annoying when you have a warranty, but it can t be used. I had to get my car towed to the dealer because I couldn t get it to start even with a jump. A bunch of errors kept coming up saying it was an ECM error, per my warranty this should be covered in full however upon inspection the service department said there was an outside influence that caused the error. On the warranty that was sent to me by VW it does not say that an outside influence voids a warranty and will not be covered for this part. I verified it so whatever scam this dealership is pulling is not going to work with me. You cannot take advantage of women! My car died at a gas station, and it was jumped by the service department, a jump wouldn t cause this damage, so per the VW service department every time my car dies, and I m stranded I have to get it towed to the dealer, so my warranty isn t voided. Does that make sense? Are you going to cover the cost of a tow truck every time there s a problem with my car? When I spoke to the service manager, she said they would not help with the cost of the part which was over $1900 the best they could do was 10%, she also said that because this is a KNOWN PROBLEM, they have a bulletin of how to take care of this error but then went back and said this doesn t happen often. Does that also make sense? No, right? If this is a known problem, I have read a TON of reviews online about this problem VW should be recalling all of these cars and getting this part replaced. EVERYTHING at VW is backordered. I had to get an aftermarket battery put into my car that was over $500 (without labor) where I could go to AutoZone and get the same battery for $250. My car has less than 38,000 miles on it and I ve had it for 4 years. I don t drive it and it s already dying. At 20,000 miles I had to change the brakes because the ones they put on all VW California cars corrode faster requiring them to be replaced more often, they suggested for us to put after market brake pads on. I did that but again if VW knows about this why isn t this recalled you are putting our safety on the line. Anyway, the person who helped me was nice, but the service manager was terrible, and I don t appreciate them not working with me when this part is covered in warranty.

I had a great experience at this dealership. I'm usually very wary of walking into dealerships because of overly pushy salesmen and financers, this was not the case at VW South Coast. Johnny Huang was really easy to talk, responsive, and knew everything about the ID4 and electric vehicles. I had reserved a car last year and Johnny kept me updated on the car regularly and made the transaction simple and easy.

South Coast Volkswagen advertises what they have in stock unlike other dealers who say they have XYZ just to get you in. Honest, professional, nice team! Tell them not to wash it!Sales team was very helpful, but the delivery of the car was awful. Walked out to a brand new car that was covered scratches and swirls from improper washing. Car was scheduled for a ceramic coating right off the lot, but that turned into a $2000 paint correction. Traded in a 3 year old civic that looked better than this brand new vw. Pics show the before and after, side by side.

VW is the best deal out there for sedans, SUV s and electric. They drive great, they re safe, and affordable. Everything was excellent & easy from start to finish. I loved being able to submit the credit application online and view their inventory on their website.Then learning about all of the included features, like free maintenance for 3 years, free window tint, and free Car Net, which is just like OnStar with free roadside assistance and Lojack all in one. It s definitely a brand to check out if you haven t already. A German engineered vehicle is always a great choice. As long as it s not a benz LMAO!
