Competent work and excellent customer service in a truly terrible location. They replaced my cabin air filter and took care of a minor recall. Took about an hour. They also got rid of a stubborn stain on my driver's seat without me even asking! The waiting room doesn't have a working ice or water cooler. There is nothing nearby to eat, and they don't have snacks or a vending machine. It's hard to feel safe in the neighborhood if you leave the service center. There are a lot of industrial companies with big trucks coming and going, no sidewalks, and nothing to eat nearby.I felt like this location was more appropriate for a bargain car repair center not a premium brand like Tesla.

The customer service at this establishment has significantly deteriorated, echoing the sentiments expressed in other reviews. Despite having faithfully serviced my Tesla here since day one without any prior issues, my recent experience has been disappointing.A few months ago, I brought my car in for a low tire, and the representative who assisted me was initially accommodating. They repaired a nail in the tire and even offered a discount. I mentioned needing an alignment, and, to my understanding, they suggested waiting until my rear tires required replacement for a complimentary alignment. This aligns with the service BMW provides for my other car, so it made sense.Fast forward to yesterday when I went to replace one of my tires. Initially quoted $357 for the entire service, I was shocked to find out at the last minute that the promised alignment wasn't included, adding an additional $250. When I brought up the previous commitment, I was asked for proof, leaving me frustrated as I had only my word to rely on.Upon requesting to speak to the manager, I was informed that the promised service was not within their offerings, and the representative who had assured me of it was no longer with the company. Resigned to pay, I found the total suddenly increased to $820. Unable to bear the escalating costs and unwilling to engage in further argument, I took my car to an independent tire shop where the same services were completed for $550.This experience has left me questioning the standards at Tesla, purportedly a luxury car dealership. The exorbitant charges coupled with a failure to deliver on promised services cast doubt on my future purchases from Tesla. If this is indicative of their current customer service, my next car will likely not be a Tesla.

Booked an appointment on the app to have my sideboard on the driver seat replaced. Mr. Kim was really friendly and quick in advising my concerns. The work was completed under an hour

Work eventually got done for the estimates for cost and time were wrong from the start. I would have thought they would know ahead of time what it takes to replace a rear window but i guess not here. The service center realized a full day after drop off that the center brake light assembly also needed to be replaced. Either they are not competent enough to know what it takes to replace the window ahead of time or they broke the part and needed to charge me for a replacement to cover their mistake. Either option is disappointing. The service rep was very nice but unable to properly estimate the amount of time needed to do the work. Initial estimate was only one day, then two days, then three days... Seems very disconnectedWhen I received my car back there were two obvious problems with the vehicle that were the result of the repair. First the seal around the roof was not properly installed and folded under in a way that would have allowed an excessive amount of water in. Second issue was finger prints around the headliner from attaching the glass. This should have been very easy to see given the black adhesive material really stood out on the light interior. Both problem were fixed over the next hour while I waited but this poor quality should never have been rolled out.More black adhesive has been found inside the truck and passenger carpet but is not noticeable against the black parts of the interior.

This location deserve 0 star if it could, i sent the car in cuz i was told the wheel is torsion which must be a manufacture defective at the first place since the material of wheel is too hard for a torsion to happen naturally and my Dad said the car is shaking when driving. After inspection, the technician only pinpoint the outside of the wheel scratch and another spot saying its damaged(which only shows a bit scratch, but not affect the shape of the wheel at all) BUT she did not even notice the torsion. I can even tell as a non-technician after the wheel replacement as pic. I even had the service advisor has technician drive it around to test the shaking, they said everything's good. After the replacement, when i got the replaced wheel, i personally point to advisor regarding the shape of the wheel(which is not even a round), and talking about the shaking, the manager said oh its because of the wheel, and we cannot cover it since its been 1 year, then why does the technician say nothing unusual and not even found the torsion that I mentioned at the first place??? how are we ganna know if we do not insist to replace the wheel and personally look at it??? your technician not even notice it or just hide it so that i have to pay for replacement. They just try anything excuse they can to charge the customer and avoid talking about the problems that they ignore/do not pay attention to.My family were considering to replace Mercedes to one more Tesla, now I do not want another Tesla in my garage any more. Thank you for helping me avoid making another mistake to buy Tesla....

Called the parts department on several occasions. The phone system immediately diverts you to "leave a voice mail". THEY WILL NEVER CALL YOU BACK, NO MATTER HOW MANY DAYS GO BY, NOR HOW MANY VOICEMAILS YOU LEAVE.

I had my car's headliners damaged when I had my car serviced at Tesla Costa Mesa. This time I had it serviced with Tesla Santa Ana and Eric definitely made this service a better experience for me! He went above and beyond and reassured me that everything was going to be carefully done and provided an accurate estimate regarding how long the servicing was going to take. He even went out of his way to see what could be done about other concerns I had briefly mentioned during our conversation. Thank you Eric and Santa Ana service team for allowing me to walk out a happy Tesla customer! Before this, I was hesitant on making a servicing appointment with concern that my car was going to be returned with more damage than it had come in with, but now I will gladly come back to Eric for any of my future appointments :-)

I stopped by today to just check my tire before starting my ski trip (after getting rejected from another tesla service center because I walked in). Sang(?) was very friendly from the beginning and checked my tires very thoroughly and recommended me to purchase new sets of tire (which was expected). Highly recommend this service center and will definitely come back for any upcoming repairs/service.

The staff they hire in Santa Ana are the worst sort. Whoever is responsible for the Tesla HR process for these centers is FIRED! Hire some US citizens with educations and fire everyone who refuses to be accountable for the damage they cause. Furthermore, the reason for the EV market is for cars that just work without the need for any mechanical intervention. No electric car should ever require any repairs. Just make them correctly the first time! This center is woefully mismanaged and if Tesla would simply hire some legitimate professional, this could be fixed in a month.Likewise, it's pathetic that you can't get anywhere in these cars without adding half a day to your travel plans for every day of your trip. LA to Vegas... none of them can do that trip without stopping somewhere for 6 hours. That's a routine bit of driving and should be a one charge event. Leave full, arrive, hit a 1 hour charge at a hotel...no problem. That's what we were promised and it'll never happen using the same dangerous toxic batteries that are destroying the environment. A hundred years of gas burning is less polluting than one Tesla full of batteries. Forget Mars... Tesla can't get me from CA to NY without drama and delays. Oh well, maybe the phone will actually work?!

A role model for other Tesla service centers. Came here on a Saturday morning (they open at 730a) to pair new key cards. Service was done quickly and efficiently. TIP: if you lose your key cards order them online and have them available before you go to the service center. They may not always have extras on hand.

Had a great experience getting service here! Made an appointment for a climate keeper failure error on my model 3 and the Santa Ana location was the one with the earliest appointment date in my area. My service advisor Sung was awesome- professional with excellent communication, keeping me posted before my appointment and throughout servicing. Also really appreciated the attention to detail- during check in drop off it was a very smooth process. I noticed the service center team put a seat cover, steering wheel cover and foot cover in my car before next steps and Sung went through the service notes with me and verified that the uber voucher was received for me to get from and to the SC. The climate keeper issue was resolved very quickly and I picked up my car the next day. Thanks again Tesla team!

Thus far my experience at this service center has been phenomenal. Eddy and David have been my service advisors and both were incredibly professional, communicated info about the service well, and correctly set expectations. Technician Tanner has also been wonderful to work with; personable, broke down how mechanics work for me to easily understand what the issue was, and good attention to detail.

Eric is an amazing service advisor, super knowledgeable and always available for quick conversations to make sure I understand the work my car needs, the time for completion, and always checks to see if anything is covered under a warranty. If my car needs service in the future I hope to be paired with Eric again!

Fantastic service provided by David and his team from Tesla service Santa Ana. Upon arrive, the service team quickly checked me in and introduced me with service adviser David. David is very professional and polite. He go overed all my issues and questions. Then talked me step by step what should I do next and what for me to expect. I definitely will come back to this Tesla service center for the future service need. Highly recommended this Tesla service location!

New to Tesla but so far I love the car. Having driven ICE cars and trucks for the past 35 years the electric car is a huge step forward in being intuitive. This is like the 1920's for gas cars, and the future is amazing.

Poor quality work for what should have been easy fixes. Be careful when you pick up your car for any new dents in the area of the repairs. Will not bring my vehicle here again.

This service center has been terrible. I came in for a list of warranty issues. Couple easy one's fixed, most "in spec". But 2 I will focus on. #1 is my driver seat back started melting, feels gooey, about 1ft diameter patch and growing, and they claimed this is normal wear and tear and refuse to fix it under warranty (I've never had any chemical other than me or leather/interior cleaner on the seat). #2 the driver foot vent was blowing only hot air, they tried to fix this, afterwards (2nd visit) it became the driver facing vent blowing in the wrong direction, and afterwards again (3rd visit) still the same issue, now about to go in for 4th visit as it's still blowing wrong direction and they didn't close up the vent properly so there's a large bulge (about clip height) in the grey vent fascia. Each time they claim their advanced software tells them everything is good, so they tell me that means it's good. Oh and the kicker was that on the 1st of these visits they crashed my car in the parking lot (granted they fixed this as part of good will, and actually seemed like a decent paint job). The people working here have very glowing/helpful personalities when talking to you, but their communication through the app (I rarely got responses through the app) and workmanship when at service is terrible. I'm always a very calm person (I know, biased opinion), but this service center has straight up pushed my temper over the limit that I've never in my life crossed.

Their UNDER PAID Mechanics WILL DESTROY your BRAND NEW Tesla like they did to mine.I brought in my NEW 2022 Telsa Model 3 for 3 things: 1. windshield replacement2. Wind Noise on Driver side door 3. Rattles noise coming from the dashboard.First, it took them 2 (Two) WHOLE business days to replace a windshield. Second, they broke the Screen Protector that I just installed a day before. Third, they DAMAGED / SCRATCHED the A PILAR interior cover.I contacted them from the Tesla APP (that's how they communicate with you) to address the issues. They replied saying the damage was already there before. I could afford a new screen protector ($50) but my point is they do not take care of your Tesla while in their possession. They DID NOT put these damages on the "Work Order Form" nor notifying their customer when they found the damages. They also waited until 5:30 PM to deliver the car back to me so I would not notice the damages when it is dark outside.I am BIG TESLA FAN and I love my Tesla Model 3. I hope Tesla Service Centers can step up and treat their customers like LEXUS treat their LOYAL customers. BONUS: when the mechanic (Jose) test drove my Tesla on a service road with me inside the car, he DROVE IT LIKE HE STOLE IT!

Everyone knows Tesla vehicles are notorious for having quality issues upon delivery. My 2022 Model 3 Performance was no different. However, upon looking at local service centers, Santa Ana seemed to be the best reviewed in the area. They fixed most of my issues on my model 3 with no hesitation and did so in less than 24 hours. I had about 16 lines of issues and again, most of them were corrected properly. Huge shout out to Evan, Kevin, Sung and Zach for the awesome customer service. Definitely the only SC I will be going back to!

Blew tire on freeway at night. Service Center was able to see me next day on short notice. Replaces 4 tires in one hour. A bit expensive but not unexpected. Great service.

Extremely bad customer service.Went their as my tesla Y s trunk part was falling apart. The representative scheduled a mobile repair for next day and then all of the sudden they transferred it to buena park office without notifying it and canceled my mobile repair without letting me know.Got notification next day stating it got transferred because wifi issue cannot be solved via mobile repair which was not the main issue either and they scheduled service after 15 days.My trunk part issue was mentioned as wifi issue to transfer my repair to buena park office. They don t even have exact answers for it neither they receive call.BUENA PARK office CONFIRMED me that SANTA ANA office did this mistake and it is their fault. The worst customer service so far. Will not recommend this service station at all

Great service experience. I had an appointment and the whole process from dropping my car off to picking it up was flawless. The Service manager and technician went over my service in detail so I knew exactly what was fixed and what to look out for in the future if it were to happen again. I didn't have any further issues after this appointment. All around a great experience.

Went here this week, great experience!Overall felt genuine kindness and care from Eddy here. He took time to hear out all my concerns and addressed them the same day and it was fixed within hours. This was my first Tesla service center visit but I truly believe this might be one of the better service centers. The technician Chandler that rode around with me was an ex-Mercedes-Benz technician so he understands quality excellence in cars, very professional.Just know your in good hands if you bring your Tesla here.

This Tesla service center is amazing. I was flying out and I had luggage in my frunk and my frunk was jammed. I didn t have an appointment and I had to catch my flight in 2 hours. They helped us out! Way better than the experience that the Irvin location gave us. They told us they would put us at the back of queue. This location helped us out no hassle nothing. I will always go back to this location.

I came for the hood-latch recall. The service was prompt. I was in and out in 30 minutes. The waiting room is super. It is clean and has self-help coffee station and a unisex lavatory . Free WiFi is available as well if you need it. 5 stars rating

New Model S 2022 . The car is already qualified for the Lemon Law case due to the technical service quality. It was long story with many issues but to be short here is the major issues only:1. Came to this service with the issue with front suspension (loud creaks). They managed to fix it only after 4th appointment.2. The car was hit at the Costa Mesa Tesla service. The car was towed to Santa Ana service as they had expertise in body work. The front bamper, the left light and left fender were replaced. After 4th appointment they still could not align gaps. I decided forget about them :)3. These are the photos how they returned my car after the service. Oily dirt was everywhere. It was crystal clear before the appointment. And it was not the first time. They returned my car in such condition twice.Tesla must change something in operations.

Great new service center to alleviate the Costa Mesa Service Center. Note that they only service Model 3 and eventually Model Y. Service staff were super quick and very friendly. Dropped off the car in the morning and they gave me Uber credits. It was finished promptly at the estimated time the same day. They have coffee, water, and snacks in the customer lounge. Looking forward to coming here instead of the other much more crowded location.
