Stuart is very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose my car. I had an ongoing AC problem and after being referred to him by a friend, he found the issue within an hour or 2 dropping it off. Thankfully he had the parts and was able to finish my car by the afternoon. I even gave him a call today because my car was acting up, and he helped me out over the phone and were able to figure it out. Just shows what great customer service he has. Definitely bringing my car to him for everything going forward.Service: Air conditioning

First I must say how impressed Stuart was on his knowing of Mercedes vehicles, what I thought was a starter sticking I was told was the issue, it turned out to be a fuel related issue, Stuart went right to the source and made necessary repairs in a timely manner.If you have any doubts with a mechanic or shop being honest or straight front with you always ask for a second opinion, In which I did going to Coastal Imports & I'm glad I did.Thank you for a job well done Stuart.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I absolutely love this Mechanic. Stu is very honest and has kept my problem Audi going for me. I had a previous mechanic that made a mess of my car. Stu made it all correct! You can't go wrong taking your car to him. Honest, Great Business Morals and Integrity! I highly recommend Him and his Wife. Has my business forever! Always helps me no matter what. Thanks Stu!

Took my 1999 w210 e300 here a few years ago for boost leak diagnostic. Car sat at the shop for a week before I called and spoke to stu who told me nothing was wrong and to come pick the car up. Upon further investigation, I found a broken vacuum line, yet stu tried telling me it wouldn't affect the boost nor cause a boost leak. Spoiler alert stu, a vacuum leak will cause a boost leak- this is basic understanding of turbo/vacuum application. He also told me my cat could be plugged up, resulting in reduced power, (which i agree is common on the om606). However, I told him that it wasn't plugged since I tapped on the cat with a wrench and could hear that is was most likely hollow. Stu tried telling me that wasn't a sure way of telling whether something was hollowed out or not. Um hello? this is geometry 101. More space = more sound. Obviously if something is hollow it would sound hollow (which it did) and spolier alert... it was hollow. Tried explaining this to stu but he just brushed off whatever I was trying to explain.For someone who specializes in technical diesel repairs that require a fair amount of knowledge to fine tune parts and phase pumps correctly, you would think the absolute basics would also be covered. Ended up wasting a week without my car however I did not pay anything which was cool. Do your own research even before taking your car to 'experts'.

You should try this place! Stuart is a certified Mercedes Benz mechanic. He is very honest and has not let us down! If you want great service but not pay an atm and a leg. Try Stuart's Coastline Imports! Thank you Stu!

Taken both my Mercedes here and would not consider anywhere else to do the work. Stu is great and they know their stuff. Add in the fact they don't overcharge and its a no brainer for you, your car and the pocket book!

My Family owns; a 1967 230SL, a 1999 300TD, a 2016 E350, we lease a 2017 E300 and have owned several others, we know Mercedes. Stu is the most honest and knowledgeable Mercedes Mechanic I have ever had the pleasure of working with, his work is impeccable. He is 1/2 the cost of the dealer and very competitive with other Mercedes shops as well. None of our Tri-Stars will go anywhere else for repair or service...

Im freaking out because I just purchased a Mercedes Benz and its a hybrid my engine light is already going off and almost hitting the 50k miles so luckily its under warranty , but what if after 50k the light goes off again? well I called Coastline Imports and Stu answer all the questions and also told me not to worry he works with Hybrid Benz and he will help me out also gave me some information about extra extended warranty that Benz dealer forgot to tell me. Now I dont regret buying my car since I got a mechanic with reputable knowledge!
