I bought a Chevy Sonic outright in November and we're in March and I still don't have my title and registration. I have been hung up on several times by Dean and Kathy and now my number is blocked. It doesn't take this long to submit paperwork. Please don't buy a car from these people, they are doing something shady with not giving people their title and registration. Also my they are selling lemon cars, my check engine light went off the day after I bought the vehicle. When I did have Kathy the accountant she stalled and said she didn't even know where the title was. Now I have a vehicle that I can't use as it's illegal to drive my vehicle without the registration and title!

Sold us a lemon car over a year ago. A week later after taking it home Check engine light came on for the vehicle. We asked for a warranty. Guy never even submitted paperwork for it. 02 sensor was the error code that came up. Had it worked on at hyundai. Check engine light came back. We just had it read again at a mechanic. Both catalytic converters are bad and he told us the mileage was manually converted to lower it. This guy that sold us the car reminds me of Harry wormwood from Matilda. Cheap and a liar. Do not go to this lot by any means. Will sell you a useless car to make money. This really screwed us. We can't even trade the car in for anything and still owe money in it. This guy should be put out of business. Whatever you do don't buy anything from this jerk.

I bought a 2014 kia forte in September. It is the end of March and I still have no registration or title. My tags are expired. I've called multiple times. They hang up on me every time. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Well, I didn t want to write a review but now I guess I have to. We bought a truck outright in September, have been waiting on the paperwork. It is now halfway through January. I ve called and been hung up on and two weeks ago I finally got ahold of someone who said my title was with the dmv and we d get it by that Friday. Still not here. I m sorry but it absolutely does NOT take this long to get paperwork submitted and sent to rightful owners. This is an insane amount of time. I pray they make it right.

On November 16, 2023 at approximately 4:30 p.m., I purchased a 2014 Dodge challenger from Gold Rush auto wholesale. The sales person name is Dean Perry and because of the mileage on the car (144,000) I was unsure I wanted to buy the car. He assured me that the car had a clean carfax report and that they thoroughly check all their vehicles and they even warrantee the vehicles engine and transmission for life. This fact alone sold me the car which out the door cost me $9600.00.On November 18th I went to run errands and right away the overheating light and oil lights came on. I went right away to an auto parts store and bought oil and coolant to put on the car. It did no good and so I drove straight back home. By the time I got home the check engine light was on as was another warning light. I immediately sent Dean an email telling him I was returning the car but got no response. The next day (11-19-23) at 12pm I returned the car. It died as I was turning into his business parking lot and hasn't run since.On the phone that day Dean told me he would rectify this but tried to blame me for the cars failure. On 11-21-23 I got the estimate for the car to be fixed and signed the work order so they could start work on car.On 11-24-23 I called to see about progress and they informed me I needed to pay $500.00 for the tear down before they start work. I told them that I would come get my car and take it to a reputable place to fix it. California law protects used car buyers by requiring the dealer to back their cars with a 30 day or 1000 mile warrantee.

Bought the car 3 months ago and still haven t received registration or my plates. Terry is a depressed angry old mad running an embarrassing run down dealership. Cussed me out when I tried asking about them just because he doesn t know what he s doing.

sold me a car with check engine light on and broken windshield. drove 2 hours to purchase and have gone 3 times with the impression that they would fix it. left my car for a week and 3 days later the check engine light is on again. waste of time and money.

WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T BUY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY WILL DO YOU DIRTY!!! i bought a jeep from GOLD RUSH AUTO WHOLESALE and they sold me that car in very poor condition, the vehicle was dirty from the inside an the two back tires where bald. so i took it in the next day to a tire shop and had them check the vehicle out for me and they said that jeep should have never been sold this vehicle in the first place because it was in a very dangerous condition to drive I did tell them about the jeep shaking but they mentioned it was because of the miles. I have photos of how bad those tires where. and how they jammed the bolts on to the front tires, when I called them they said they could not do anything about it even though I had just purchased it . I got a lawyer to have them pay me my money bac but when I looked at my contracted I seen that they didn't write down their information on the contract. I kept calling them and they kept hanging up on me, they would put me on hold then hang up on me. these people don't care all they want to do is steal your money. also cathy will tell you that she's going to do everything to help you but she's the one that always hangs up and say it disconnected WHAT EVER YOU DO DONT BUY FROM THEM IM NOT THE FIRST NOR THE LAST just like the lower said she's dealt with themso we need to shut this place down!!! just like they don't care we shouldn't care if they have families either

Saw a truck online on Saturday that my family was immediately interested in so we took a ride to Sanger. Greeted right away by Dean and Garland and got to talking about what we were there for and took a test run. It was perfect with minor cosmetic details. The pricing was a deal compared to other places I've looked into and three days later we drove it home. Dean is to the point, clear and if you're ready, they're ready for you. My husband and I had a zero hassle, full transparency experience and as soon as they come across another vehicle we're looking for, I'm sending my family member over. Sorry, for those who's experience was different, I don't see where or how because our purchase was a breeze and they even offered to correct a few blemishes on the truck. Five stars through and I'd return again if I was in need of another car.

I recently purchased a 15 Hyundai from this business and inside of two weeks after purchase the timing chain went out. In our contract there was a 50/50 cost clause for any engine or transmission repair. We took the vehicle to our regular mechanic and received a quote for $1800. We then took it in to Gold Rush because of the repair clause. After they looked at it we were informed our (50%) would be $1600. I questioned the amount and was told that was half of the estimate. I tried to connect with the owner Dean because he is the one who told us we had this clause. Dean has not had the courage to address this issue to this point. Their little repair clause is a total fraud. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable location unless you are ok with being ripped off.

Brought my car here they did a great job and the car runs great two year warranty on my car made sure I left with something had a back up for my insurance I appreciate they hard work I don t know how anyone says anything bad about they company half my family gets they car from them and there cars still running great any issues they bring it to them and it s fix I recommend this company compare to others they 5 stars in my books

I bought two cars from this lot a 2013 Nissan versa and a 2012 Chevy sonic both in the Beginning of 2022 very good running cars have not had one problem with either. Thanks to dean a very good guy . And Kathy very nice .would buy a car from them again.

Dean's whole family is scammers if you looked them up their family is highway patrol and sheriff so I'm guessing they're just as corrupt somebody should look into that bought a car two years ago from them broke down the second day said it needed catalytics they never replace them no new welds they used glue on the head gasket it overheated and they glued it instead of using a regular gasket check engine light never turned off since I bought it same problem needs catalytics

Never ever will I buy a car from here I once purchased a vehicle from them that had to be picked up the next day for minor cosmetics needed to be done and the next day I get a phone call that my car was broke into and my stereo was stolen they promise I would get my stereo replaced with the same one which was about a $500 aftermarket double din instead gave me a $80 Walmart stereo that the radio did even work and was installed wrong on top of that they didn't even fix any of the cosmetics that needed to be taken care of when I pick up my car dean told me that he didn't have a chance to fix them that if I could bring it back and when I did return he said there was nothing they could do since I took the car out of the care worst experience with this place

I just bought a car from them a week ago. Granted they had only had in their possession a couple of days when I found out one of the struts was damaged they offered to come pick up my car all the in Visalia to fix it for me at no charge. They were very respectful and polite. They even fixed a leak under the hood I didn t even know I had. I ve dealt with a couple of car lots in my time and neither of them had shown the thoroughness and respect like Goldrush has. Keep up the good work

On February 20, 2023, met with Dean, the owner, and he confirmed a specific car was available for purchase. Dean suggested we do financing before test driving. Garland, the finance manager, says the best he can do is 13% apr before offering 8% but says we HAVE to buy an extended warranty for almost $1700 for that rate. I tell him no thanks, we'll go to a credit union. Dean proceeds to let us test drive the car and agrees to send the purchase order within the next 20 mins. Even agrees to fix some cosmetic issues and add a back up cam. Doug did email us, but forgot to attach the purchase order. On February 21, 2023, called Dean and he seems confused on why the purchase order still hasn't been sent. Spoke to Kathy and she agrees to get it taken care of. On February 22, 2023, still no purchase order so I called Dean back and he transfers me to Kathy again. Kathy confirms the car was never for sell. She stated someone paid a deposit a week ago and had paid the final balance on February 21, 2023, thus taking the car. I tried calling Dean but he no longer answers the call. So not only did these people run a hard credit inquiry and waste our time, they let us drive some else's car as they failed to mention the car had a deposit on it. I reported to BBB to have the inquiry removed.

They will do a crooked smog if car doesn't pass and your still making payments Just bought a car from them for $10,000 I gave them $6,000 down it overheated the first two days I purchased the car because I had a newborn baby and needed something reliable LOL I returned it they fixed it in two days later it overheated again check engine light popped on now it was the catalytic converts I called them up told them I said that's going to be expensive for you guys dropped it off for 2 weeks and they just erased the check engine light took it to a smog shop and they didn't notice any new welds or anything the rear spindle is missing the main bolt that holded the whole rim and brake once the check engine light came on I just gave up on them they offered me a free illegal smog because it's passing

I purchased a vehicle in September of 22. As of today, mid December, I have not received the registration or license plates. After looking into the matter, the dealer has not yet transferred the title. The most disappoint part was that I paid the asking price to help make the deal go smoothy and not waste time. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I came to purchase a 2011 Fiesta Ford cash ready. They told me they needed to fix a the light battery before I could buy. I told him I will take as is for a reduced price. He said no he will fix it and for me to place a deposit. I placed a $1,200 and waiting for car pickup to give the remainder of the cash. They never called me . I had to keep calling. Finally after 4 days I decide to go to their place of business. As I am there he tells me he can t do the sale because he had been sued before. I m not sure what that meant but they are very unprofessional and they can SMELL EDUCATED PEOPLE. I m unsure why he would agree to sale or have it listed if he wasn t going to have any intention of me leaving the lot in a vehicle.

I usally give good reviews however, I agree with the negative reviews from the other "victims." of Gold Rush Auto. I have been in mangament for more than 12 years in addition, to being a paralegal for more than a decade never before have I heard so many lies. Kathy is certainly a good fit for their dealership because she, like Dean is very unprofessional and masters of lies. The 1st day that my daughter bought the car from Gold Rush it broke down in Madera. When my daughter called Dean he acted surprised and unprofessionally said "hum." 2 days later it broke down again in Fresno. During that time she captured a video of the dash lights coming on, car stalling and engine dying. She called Dean and explained what happened and sent him the captured video. Dean told her to have the car towed to Sanger at her expense however she convinced him to pay for the towing costs. Dean transferred that call to Kathy for those arrangements. Kathy told her to drive the car to Madera? My daughter expressed her concerns about the car not being unreliable and having her son and mother in the car. Kathy stated, "just try to get back to Madera." My daughter sent her the Madera address for the tow truck to pick up the car. It took us at least an 1.5 to get home. Dean called about that time and said he doesn't see the car anywhere. My daughter told him "we are here in Madera," Dean used the "F" word and said "I don't do Madera," then disconnected the line. My daughter tried calling him back but he would not take her calls so, she sent Dean a text message stating, "per Kathy we were told to drive the car to Madera." No response from Dean. The next morning my daughter called AAA and had that car towed from Madera to Sanger. The car sat there for a week. My daughter kept reaching out to them and they told her "they drove the car 100 miles for 8 hours and found no problem." So, I called a friend for a ride to Sanger so that we can pick up the car. While in route to Sanger my friend offered to drive behind me with his car all the way to Sacramento. It took us 6 hours to get there because the car broke down on the 99 several times. By the time we got to a city the auto parts stores were closed. My friend who is a mechanic stated that the battery maybe the issue. The next morning we took the battery to Autozone it had a 15% charge. After a full charge the car still breaks down. The "selling tactic" of Gold Rush Auto has become evident as my daughter as well as the previous "victims" of Gold Rush Auto states, "it stalls, stops running, nor fixed when brought back to their mechanics." I should have read their reviews before recommending my daughter to support local buisnesses. I guess I need to give a star to post?Update on the vehicle it was the altenator that cost close to $2000 to fix and no title has been given as of date.

My friend bought a Nissan Altima from here over 16 months ago. From the first day it had major transmission issues. He returned it was promised it was in good condition, kept having trouble. Eventually they accepted the car back with the promise of fixing it. Kept the car for 7 or 8 months. Promising to either have it fixed in the next couple days or someone would return my call. I picked it up to even worse conditions mechanically than before. I had the BAR (Ca. State Auto Repair Agency) investigator come to my house, he noted several things wrong with the hole process of selling me the car, them fixing it and the time it took. He contacted them they agreed to work it out. Now 9 months more my 6 thousand dollar in cash car is sitting downtown at a repair shop. The owner said he is waiting for the car lot to give him the transmission to install or pay him. This place has promised time and time again to fix and return my car. I have lost business, income, and time dealing with this. They never return my calls, when they do it is always BS story. My recommendation DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS PLACE. I am now having to file legal action to get my car that they agreed to fix with multiple people (car repair shop, BAR, My friend as witness) over 16 months ago.

VERY AFFORDABLE AND GREAT SELECTION!!! I purchased a 2008 Honda Accord from this place over a year ago and haven't had any problems with it. I spoke with Doug regarding payments and he worked with me until I was able to pay the car off. They are very reasonable and understanding. I would definitely buy from Gold Rush Auto in the future.

I was in need of a car. I first went to Selma Nissan to try to get a new car. I had a pretty decent down payment, but Nissan did not work with me. I did not want a high monthly payment, so I was open to the idea of getting a used car with my down payment. Dean, the owner, was extremely friendly right from the beginning. I could not believe that he just handled me the keys to the car I was interested in and did not try to be pushy and sell me the car. He is very confident on the quality of his cars, and that gave me the confidence to work with him on a deal. I asked him about financing, but at that moment, I did not want a monthly payment at all. He worked on a deal with me to get down to the price I could afford since I was paying cash. The car was missing the trunk cover, so he ordered it for me and even offered to ship it to my house. Dean was a very pleasant person to work with, and I am very happy with my new car.

I have no idea how these people are in business. Was checking out a car and the guy was acting super annoyed that I was asking questions. The final straw for him was when I asked to get the car on the lift so I can check it out. He literally kicked me off the lot and told me to look somewhere else. Like you'd think they would want to work on their reputation considering everyone on the internet has nothing good to say about them. They expect someone to just buy a car blindly and not give it a decent once over? Don't bother with this place. Spend your money somewhere else, their target customer must be someone who is blind, doesn t ask questions, and is ready to just hand over thousands of dollars.

Really great people got a great deal on a 06 dodge ram, really inviting even helped with lower payments plus if I had any problems just come back. Thank you Dean and Gold Rush Auto Crew! I will come acknowledge again!

Stay away from these people. They will say nothing is wrong with the car, knowing it has faulty problems. It is considered fraud in the state of California to sell a vehicle without disclosing the conditions the vehicle is in. They sold me a car which broke down a week later, Paid in full. They claim they have mechanics who will work on your car but their mechanics never show to work, the owner is extremely rude and will hang up on you, the lady who handles dmv paperwork doesn t show to work, they have cars sitting there for long periods of time because the mechanics never show to work.. they only want your money, and do not care about you. will be pursuing them in any legal way I can. If you re a victim of this dealer please report them to commissions and get them shut down as they re a scummy business Thank you and again STAY AWAY.
