Rob restored my Dads 73 corvette - it s perfect, he knows classic cars, I would suggest everyone to work with him if you want a true classic.

After 2-4 visits and 2-5k spent at this place, I truly question their ethics and taking accountability. As I always kept my wits about this place and their $180 diagnostic charge that they nail you with, even if you complete the service that costs thousands. Last major repair I had done at this place, my car has leaked antifreeze. I took it in a week after, they said they fixed it but it turns out I need to top it off every 2-3 weeks. It has been 3 or so months since the last major repair and I haven t had the time to take my car back. Best to know they will use this to their advantage. Everyone is in business to make money, however, this doesn t mean the customers best interest is first.

SR Valley Import Center laid an EGG regarding quality and service. Picked up my Honda truck after oil change, transmission fluid, and transfer case fluid change. I reviewed the work receipt before pickup and more carefully after I got home. They forgot to do the transfer case fluid change but told me that I could not return that day to complete the service. Come back next Monday - a week later for their next appointment based upon our schedules. I took my truck into the honda dealer the same afternoon and they were able to complete the service prior to my trip....Friendly but not necessarily accountable regarding their service quality. My first time visit based upon "high praise" from my neighbor...DOHHHHH!

I was very pleased with the quality of service, and expertise the mechanics at Valley Import Center showed my car. I had a cracked oil pan, and needed it to be replaced. The quote they gave was very reasonable, and the time estimate to fix it was accurate which was helpful for a mom of 2 to plan her day! I really appreciated the honesty and attention to detail they gave. I will definitely return for car maintenance.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

We have been taking our cars to Valley Imports for about 18 years now and always get a high quality job done. They can fix cars and fix them good. They use quality parts and are very thorough. Not cheap but more than worth it for reliability. Owner run shop and it always shows. Tuesday the battery light comes on and I call Valley Imports. I know the battery is good, so Mark says don't drive around like that and bring it in that day as it most likely some type of Electrical problem. Accommodated me when I really needed it. Same afternoon they have it checked and diagnosed and I need a new alternator. Wednesday they do the repair and our car is rolling and we are back on the road in tip top shape that day. I had such an AMAZING experience here. I was referred by my mother who does nothing but rave about how amazing they are. I was not disappointed!The car was turned over really quick, and they gave me the run down about what was happening with my car, and what they would recommend going forward. I also felt really confident about the price, which I feel like is hard to come by with shops. They were really upfront and I didn't feel like they were trying to get me to upgrade or buy services AT ALL. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Their online appointment scheduling tool is great! I scheduled an appointment Sunday night, and they were able to see me Monday morning. I had high quality, efficient service. They were able to fix the AC in my car within two hours. They were very communicative and easy to work with as well. Special thanks to Mark and Jeff. Five stars!!!

This is the second time I have had a vehicle serviced at San Ramon Valley import center and both times have been amazing. They take great care of me and my cars. I recently purchased a used Lexus and took it in to have them look it over and do an oil change. Jeff was super helpful and informative. Took the time to assure me that I purchased a good car and gave me his recommendations on what needed to be done service wise. Ultimately the timing belt needed to be done but it was the length in which Jeff went to to reassure me that it was a crucial service. When I picked my car up he took the time to show me the old belt which was badly warped and cracked and in DESPERATE need of replacing. Once I saw that belt I knew it was absolutely necessary to do and he saved me THOUSANDS of dollars by recommending the service. So while no one ever wants to spend money on a car service I d much rather pay to service a working and running car rather than to replace an engine altogether. So if you re on the fence about a good shop look no further. They take real good care of their customers and I ll be going back anytime I need something.

Very good experience from making an appointment to having my car serviced. They even give discounts to AAA and Costco members! Just make sure you get the code from Costco auto in your email beforehand...

They always give me an estimate of the service cost right from the start, then promptly call me with detailed explanation if any additional problem is found, giving a new estimate and asking whether I want to have that fixed today, or wait and think about it. Been taking both my cars to San Ramon Valley Import for the last ten years and a deep trust has been established that is hard to come by with many auto repair shops. These guys are very honest and do excellent work!

Dec 2021: The mechanic who was to work on my car had an accident and I was told it may be 2 weeks before they could fix it. To my surprise, Rob, part owner, came in over the weekend and worked on it so I got my car back within a week. Service way and beyond. Ditto to my post below. Jan 2020: The business is all about great service. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, replacing my ABS control module the same day when the part had to come from SF. They provided a ride home and back to their business and I didn't need to wait. They even washed and vacuumed my car. Thanks.

This was a tough one. The manual transmission on my 1995 Audi finally crapped out. Rob walked me though the options and did a good job of leaving the decision to me. I decided to take the plunge and get a rebuilt transmission - a tough parts challenge. Between Valley and their transmission affiliate, 2 months later the car is running better than ever. It was worth the extreme price AND the wait. These guys are the greatt!Services: Transmission, Vehicle safety inspection

This shop is awesome! I brought my 2003 Mercedes ML 350 in for service and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I read from the Yelp reviews that these guys were fair and would not try to sell you service that you did not need.I needed a maintenance B (whatever that is) and to check the A/C (it wasn't working). I worked with Mark and he explained everything in a manner that I could understand.Mark let me know what was critical, what could wait, and what was up to me if I wanted to spend the money.I was very pleasantly surprised when what I actually paid was less than the estimate that he presented.I will and have already recommended their shop to to anyone that needs to have their car serviced.I know I have found my shop any car that I own.Thank you Valley Import Center!

Rob persevered to find a mysterious and elusive stalling problem with my older Rav-4, and I have a hunch very few other shops would ever have found the culprit. A previous shop was, in fact, unable to locate the source of the issue after several weeks. Had I taken this Toyota to a dealer, most of them would have started needlessly replacing parts with no solution to the problem, only a giant invoice, and I know this from perusing the Rav-4 forums on the internet.Jeff & Rob are smart and pleasant folks to deal with, and I can certainly recommend them without reservations. If you have tricky problems with your car, this is the place to go. Just understand that they tend to be busy, so like most good shops, it may take a few days to get your vehicle in.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

San Ramon Valley Import Center has top notch customer service and performs high quality work. Jeff and Rob are both trustworthy and very knowledgeable. They completed the service in a timely manner and charged a fair price for the work done. I will be back and highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get their car serviced.

I have been taking my cars to San Ramon Valley Imports for the last 7 years, after years of moving from different shops, feeling like I was being taken advantage of. It's a relief to have my cars serviced at San Ramon Valley Import Center. They are straight forward, honest and fairly priced. They don't over sell you. They keep good records on your vehicle maintenance schedule. If you make your appointment on line you can often get a discount on your service. They also mail a discount coupon every few months. They get your car back to you promptly. They offer shuttle service to and from home or work. I have been very satisfied with the service.

Great service. Love working with these guys. I'm pretty particular about my 2003 BMW convertible. They take excellent care of it. Latest service was for a full, four wheel brake job. We discussed the pros and cons of the different brake pad choices. Came up with one that solved my brake dust/dirty wheel problem. I've been going to them for many years now. They have a shuttle service too. Good prices and very trustworthy.

I am very impressed with these guys! I wanted to have my front and rear wheel alignment checked on an SUV and found that it needed to be slightly adjusted. I was able to set up an early morning appointment and they got it done in no time flat. I decided to wait around the area (had some breakfast at a local location, and walked back and it was done). Very professional people and they were very informative to describe what exactly was done. Computer printout showed the before and after. Great job! Will use these guys again for other services too!

This was the best service experience I ve had in many years. I had great conversations with both Rob, the owner, and Jeff, the shop manager. It s pretty clear they know their business and take great pride in high quality work done correctly at a fair price. I felt like I had gone back in time and was being helped by a trusted mechanic in small town mid-America. I m glad I found this gem of a shop and I ll be back.

Great service, reasonable rates, convenient, and very professional staff. After researching the shop, I was already impressed with their credentials including the Diamond Certification. I bought in my 2004 BMW X5 to have an expensive part of the engine repaired. The cost was less than the E. Bay BMW dealer and the repair was completed right on time and the SUV is running great! So after the very positive first visit with San Ramon Valley Import Center, I brought in my second car, a 2009 Civic Hybrid, to have minor services done, when went very well, again. Then being very satisfied with the shop, I brought in my 3rd vehicle, a 1998 Toyota Sienna, to have a series of work done like rear shocks, side auto window, dashboard lights, dome lights etc. Everything was repaired at a very reasonable price and the van now runs much better than before. Any questions/concerns that I had before and after the repairs, were professionally answered and taken care of. This is a great auto repair shop. Not only can I get my vehicles repaired at a reasonable cost, they have a professional staff, courtesy shuttle, and a 2 year warranty that no other shops that I know of has. I have total satisfaction and peace of mind after bringing my vehicles here for repair!

I brought my 2013 Prius in after the check hybrid system light came on. I was called after a diagnostic check was performed, and told I needed to replace the inverter. (very expensive). They took the time to check Toyota's recall list and actually found the part I needed was on the list. AND they called Toyota Walnut Creek and got me an appointment that day! These guys are awesome. I've had my 2007 Honda Accord in for repair twice and have been very satisfied with the work they do. I appreciate that they have shuttle service. Very professional and reasonable prices. Thank you!

Mark & Jeff at San Ramon Valley Import take care of all our cars. The folks there perform excellent work, whether routine maintenance, or when something goes out, they are always very fair and attentive. I have been going here for almost 10 years and would recommend them highly.

The SR Valley Import Center team is absolutely customer service oriented. They take the time to explain any problems and solutions in detail, and they communicate frequently throughout the process of repairing the vehicle. They are organized and knowledgeable. My husband and I have taken our cars to Valley Import Center for the past 11 years. Our vehicles have always been fixed correctly the first time. They are patient, couteous and understand that building trust is fundamental to customer retention and satisfaction. Thank you, team, keep up the good work!

Friendly guys and great service. They were able to troubleshoot the loose wheel on my car to an incorrectly torqued bolt from the previous repair (needless to say, not done at Valley Imports). A simple, inexpensive fix - I was expecting worse. They'll be getting my repeat business!
