Ivan runs a responsible and professional shop which isn t always easy to come by these days. They give excellent customer service. We have bought 2 sets of tires, a water pump and had brake pads and rotors replaced with them and have always been satisfied with the work. If something ever goes wrong that should not have, they will stand behind it and make it right. All Big O shops are NOT the same but I enthusiastically recommend the San Ramon location!

These guys are THE BEST!!! So helpful. Explains everything to you. They offer or recommend services, but don't push you. Plus, they are very friendly and have reasonable prices. We will always go there!

Amazing place!! They help quickly, they re kind, and always find me the best prices. I have never had issues with my car when I have come to them for tire replacement or other minor things in my car. Will keep coming back!!

The employee at this location lied to me. I took my car there to get my tire repaired. I was first told that a state law prevented them from repairing my tire and that I would have to buy a new tire. 10 minutes later, the employee told me that there is no state law but that it was a liability issue and that other tire reapir places would not repair my tire because of the liability. I left, took my car elsewhere and had the tire repaired with no mention of a state law or liability. I think Big O at this location is just about lying to woman and selling them new tires.

Unfortunate Experience with Big O Tires StoreI am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experience I had at your Big O Tires store.A short while ago, I purchased a set of tires along with a warranty, road hazard coverage, and a one-year alignment service. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. After the installation of the new tires, I noticed issues with the alignment while on a trip. Upon my return, I brought my vehicle back to your store to have the alignment corrected. However, it seems that the alignment was not done correctly the first time, and even after their attempts to fix it, the problem persists.To add to my dissatisfaction, when I requested a tire rebalancing, I was asked to provide a receipt, even though this information should be readily available in your system.This entire experience has left me extremely disappointed with the service I have received from your store. It is unfortunate that I have had to deal with these issues, especially after investing in the warranty and services provided. This will, regrettably, be my last interaction with Big O Tires due to the subpar service and lack of transparency.I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider the improvements needed in your store's service quality and customer support. I believe that customers should have a seamless and hassle-free experience, especially when they have invested in the services and products your store offers.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope that in the future, customers will not have to go through similar frustrations and inconveniences.No one answering in contact us

I had a wonderful experience coming in for a wheel alignment at this store! The attendant, Sam, was very efficient and clear with what to expect and how long it would take. The alignment only took around 30 minutes, which was incredibly fast.Unfortunately, I noticed that my steering wheel was slightly crooked after the alignment (1-2 degrees to the left). I went back in the next morning to fix this and Sam quickly helped me again by getting steering wheel alignment fixed within 20 minutes, no questions asked or extra charge. Highly recommend this place!

What is every woman afraid of when going to a car repair shop? That they will be taken advantage of, right? Let me tell you about my day.To make it brief, Big O looked at my car twice in 2 weeks for a recurring problem and discovered a possible issue covered by the car warranty. The dealership said the issue was the tires and I needed 4 new ones. But....but...if it was the tires, why wouldn't Big O try to sell me tires? After calling Big O again, Ivan wanted to look at the car one more time. I really felt like he cared if the car was safe.When dropping off the car I told him I would be buying 2 new tires today. We figured out the issue together (probably a unique situation they will never see again) and he said my tires were fine. By this time, Big O has looked at my car on 3 occasions, and at no point have they tried to sell me anything.I walked in, ready to buy 2 new tires.They listened to me. They believed me when the dealership didn't. And I walked out having saved $1700 because they deemed the tires within their lifespan.I don't think you can get better customer service than that!

This was an awesome experience. We came in for two things. One, we replaced our tires here a while back, but still had a slow leak in one. We also had a brake warning light. They gave us a quote, no charge for the tire, but the brake repair, which for our BMW is over $1200.00 for all four. They said they would check to make sure that we needed all four before proceeding. Then, a short while later, they called and said we had a faulty break sensor and the brakes were fine. Total cost about $100! These people are honest, fast, and do great work and understand customer service. When we do need to do our brakes, this is where we are going!

I hadn't bought tires in years. A friend recommended Big O Tires. I found the one closest to me at the time and the customer service was phenomenal! Dustin Baker helped me a day prior which made everything smooth when I brought my car in.Great place

Excellent service, I have been using Big O tires for years, not just for really good tires, but excellent on tune ups, and other vehicle problems on my past cars, The vibe is they really care about their customers, feels welcoming when you walk in. Great attitudes and happy caring employees who provide excellent professional services., they make sure you leave happy.& an added plus, they provide shuttle service for people like me, who needs a ride back home as they service my car for a couple of hours and they come get me to when my car is done. Not many places still offer such a well - needed and nice service .:)

Really nice people. Joe, especially, helped me with my tire concerns when I thought I might have a flat. Also, this place is in a nice neighborhood with a nice interior sitting area to wait comfortably. They give you coffee and the service is quick and good quality. I was well taken care of here! :-)

Online it says they close at 5:30 pm. I got here at 5pm they said they were closed because they had a slow day. That's is so unprofessional. I would give 0 starts if I could

The first week of August I took my car in for an oil change and new front/rear brakes. All was well, I paid 750 total. The mechanic told me and showed the documents detailing that after these brakes wore, I would need to replace the rotors.They specifically told me they resurfaced the rotors but next time I would need new ones. I head home and notice the brakes are making a grinding sound.I take it in the next day, they call back saying it must be something with the brake material. Take it back home it's still grinding.I take it in a third time and they call back saying the rotors need to be replaced, they're no longer viable and it's not their fault. I speak with the owner, and he immediately accuses me of playing games and that they're not responsible and that he's hanging up on me. So that was my experience here, having been recommended by a family friend.If you're in the Danville/San Ramon area I would not recommend. I'm in contact with Big O corporate handling it with higher ups, who did not hang up on me.P.S. I've never left a negative review on Google Maps, that's how rude the owner and unfortunate this whole experience has been. If your mechanic accidentally shaved the rotors down too much and they could not be used, you could have just told me/at least offered something.

I can't say enough good things about this shop. Cris's dedication to exemplary customer service and taking ownership of a challenge from start to finish, keep me coming back. The prices are more than reasonable for repairs, the location is super convenient, and the big o brand tires are on par or better than big brand products. Their tires have saved me several times from my own stupidity. I've worked with other mechanics that royally destroyed my truck but big o is reliable and trustworthy. They will always have my business and I don't think twice about referring friends and clients to them.

I had a flat, changed out the spare and needed air. They helped me out, no questions asked, no sales attempted. They even took a look at the flat to see if it was patchable. Highly recommend. Good people.

The guys are super helpful and friendly here. They had the tires I need it in stock. And it s close walking distance to Costco so while your car is getting fixed, you can do your shopping and eat lunch.

Something changed about this location. I used this place a lot for service in the past. However, my last visit was pricey and full of "I CAN WORK WITH YOU ON THE PRICE". After we worked out the service and price for the visit I agreed and left. About half a day later I received a call regarding some items was not added to the quote and would be an additional expense. Not only additional costs but the main service I wanted was not included in the service and quote. This did not sit well with me now I need to find a different place to service my car.

A broken wheel stud and ut. Not a safety issue?Just talked to store manager (Ivan) around 12p 5/25/21 that I'm upset that they did NOT inform me that they broke one of lug nut and stud, which I found it at home. He said that 'it is NOT a safety issue and he can replace it for me'. Well, It could be a simple fix for him but It is such a disappointment to hear from whom supposed to repair, not damage my wheel. Such a disappointment......I do care about my safety but it is sure to know that they are NOT.Sadly, I have to visit this location once more to get that repaired but it will be my last time.Here is some more update. (05/12/21 around 1p)Obviously, the store manager is not happy with my review. Ivan called shortly after and says he will NOT fix his damage and hung up in me. Well, I will let my insurance handle it.I'm less concern about fixing itself at this point because I know it now. Through this disappointing experience, it's more about being honest about your fault, giving apology, and responsible to it. They showed NONE of these.I really wish I chose other shop at first.If they are NOT caring about your safety, NOT being frank about their fault, and NOT being responsible for their own, you may end up paying more later with your time and money JUST LIKE ME.

Getting my car serviced at Big O was one of the best experiences I've had with my car. I had my car at Costco across the street getting a tire fixed (since it was under warranty there) and they had an issue getting the lug nuts off. Costco said Big O could fix the lug nut issue, and then I could bring my car back to to replace the tire. I had meetings all day long and could not leave work (down the road at Bishop Ranch) - so I prayed and called Big O asking if they wouldn't mind getting my car from Costco, fixing the lug nuts, and then returning it to Costco. I was not an existing customer, and they ended up doing this for me all over the phone. Best service ever and they saved the day for me. I had a razor in my tire and HAD to get it fixed before I drove home - but was unable to leave work early. The guys here were the nicest and were super honest. I ended up getting my next oil change with them as a thank you for the extra mile they went for my tires, and that went just as smooth. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for that local, honest car mechanic. :) They seriously saved my butt!

I ve been going to Big O San Ramon for over 4 years now! The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Chris snd Ivan are extremely knowledgeable and the customer service they offer is nothing but exceptional! Thank you for always making my experience a good one! I ll be back again for sure!

There are several reasons that this store has my business and loyalty. The straight forward honest approach of every person I have ever spoken with, the fast service results (typically ahead of the estimated time), and the information on what should be considered, and what is not really needed to be done at that time. Although I have only needed to visit another store location away from the area for alignment check, it was at no charge. So the number of locations is also a benefit. However, as I mentioned previously, I always come to this San Ramon location for all services they offer on all our cars (5 at the moment).

It was surprisingly hard to buy a battery and have it fitted. Costco on face value was cheaper but they don't install. TJ at Costco recommended Big O Tires and I was pleased he did.Big O's battery was same brand as Costco but was guaranteed for 6 years as opposed to 3.The guys in Big O were incredibly friendly and helpful and were able to get me in and out within 20 minutes as opposed to the "allowed hour".The gents were perfect ambassadors and was a brand I'd never heard of but now would totally recommend.

Very professional and courteous, went above and beyond fixed alignment, new tires and brakes on my truck. I went back for some brake adjustment and wheel balancing, they fixed the issues without any questions. The customer reps name is Chris I highly recommend Big O Tires in San Ramon, CA for all your services.
