I'm going to add on to all the 5-star reviews for Tims Treads. Tim is passionate about tires, he's had this business for 30 years. Some tire sensors went out, I returned to Timswhere I bought my Michelins earlier. They rotated the tires and put three new sensors on for a very reasonable price. Check around before you need tires or maintenance. This is a Marin County gem.

Tim s prices are reasonable. He came as a recommendation from my boss. I first took my car to him in 2018 and I take it to him whenever I need rotations or fix a small leak and advice on when to come back and have my tires replaced . He is very nice and of course I am going to keep taking it to him every time.

Wow - I called and he said to just come by. No waiting, they found the source of my slow leak quickly, and the repair was $35. Possibly the best bargain I have had this year.

Highly recommend Tim for your tire needs - he is extremely knowledgeable, honest and won't rip you off. He checked one of my tires for a slow leak and didn't charge for that, which I sincerely appreciate. Thank you Tim!

Let me be succinct: Tim knows tires.Tim is an honest person, and he will give you good advice and practical options specifically tailored to your budget and your needs. He also happens to be an upstanding member of the community and is very involved sponsoring local sports teams, which speaks to both his character and integrity. If you walk in and you see somebody who looks like Tim Allen/James Tiberius Kirk, except younger, then you have found your last and best tire man. I have been going there for years and will never go elsewhere.

I've been back to Tim's at least a half dozen times. He's always helpful, he's efficient and respectful of your time and his prices are great too. This is a Marin business worth supporting the next time you need tires.

I visited Tim's Treads recently so he could put 4 new tires on my car. I've been going to Tim for about 9 years and I've never had a bad experience, This was no exception. His prices are great, the time he performs the service in is super quick, and he's a really nice guy to chat with. -Jay

I just got a new set of 4 tires today. Tim was recommend to me by my boss. He's a great guy, and his dog is a sweetheart. He will be honest with you, he's not pushy and he knows his stuff.They were quick efficient and, the prices are reasonable. He will definitely be the person who will be taking care of all of my tire needs from this point on. I am extremely pleased. A big thanks to him and his staff.

Tim helped me patch a tire a few months ago, all in about 30 minutes or less of my arrival. I came in last week again because one of my tires was low and he found a nail in it. He explained to my why the tire couldn t be patched and ordered the specific tire I needed, had it in stock the next morning. I came back the next day and was in and out again in 30 minutes. I appreciated his prompt and quick work. Also price for the tire was basically equivalent, but slightly more affordable than when I did a price check at Cain s.

One of the best places to get your tires done. If you're looking for an old school style of doing business then this is the place.What I mean is you'll get low prices and deal with an honest owner. Tim took care of me and was on the phone handling other customers at the same time.Turns out after inspecting my tire by eye, by removing it from the rim and then putting it back on the rim, then dunking it in water, that there was nothing wrong with my tire but the rim itself!They spent 20 minutes helping me and didn't charge me a dime. I will keep coming back here because they take off you like family.

New tires for $1050 vs the $1550 offered at my repair shop. In and out in 30 minutes, despite what seemed to be a very busy day at Tim's.

Awesome family business - you can join by simply buying tires. Tim has a record of what you need, what you purchased, when you should rotate your tires and how long they should last. Tim is tires. Bring your car by and he'll assess what you have "by touch" and set you up for the best deal but only when you need it!!! We've been family forever! Paul

Small. local independent business with great personal customer service. Tim was able to match the Costco quote for a new, full set of Michellin tires and did it right then and there in about twenty minutes. If you can get the price and service without the Costco bull@#$% then support our local businesses.

I just needed to have a flat looked at. 3 other shops said it would be at least 3 hours to get in. Tim said, Come on over. He found the leak, plugged and repaired it... all in 15 minutes. He didn t try to sell me a new tire. He was honest and did a great job. I ll only go back to Tim s.

Was in the area so I stopped by to see if they could take a look at my tire that had a slow leak. They had me on the road within 20 minutes after locating and patching a nail hole that was causing the leak. Great service and fair pricing.

I will go out of my way to shop at Tim's treads. He has always been fast and honest. What tire guy do you know tells you that you don't need tires? Tim does. Customer for life.

Tim has my complete TRUST when it comes to my tires. He has had my loyalty for nearly ten years because he is honest in explaining what tires I need and even, on occasion, when I don t need tires. It s refreshing to see.
