My back brakes were shot. Carlos brought me in on an emergency basis, put all new brakes all within a few hours. Quality honest work & good price. Since he did a good job on my brakes. I brought my car back & got more work done. My car Is a 12 yr old SUV so I m doing work little by little. I trust him. Highly recommended Carlos & his Dad very knowledgeable. He s my new mechanic!

Carlos was great! What I liked the most was his honesty and professionalism. The first time I came was because I was told I needed new shocks by another mechanic he than explained that wasn t true and even took the time to show what a car that needed me shocks looked like! He could have just took my money but instead he was honest! Ever since than I keep coming back! 10/10 recommended!Service: Brakes

Great response time, quality repairs, and competitive prices against the more popular franchises. Rodcar has been a local small business fixture for 20 years in San Rafael. Carlos is my go-to mechanic! I recommend call for an appointment instead of walk-in. You may need Uber if there is wait time for repairs but Carlos makes you feel like your vehicle is the priority of the day. Other shops shuffle you around with paperwork or pay for an overpriced rental or buy insurance on the free rental or take days to finalize repairs or order parts.

I went to Rodcar auto to use their motor vehicle services.I was bringing an antique car into the state and heard it was a terrible process to get it registered.Rodcar did a fantastic job and had me fully registered in less than 30 minutes.I would highly recommend Carlos As he knew what was required and took care of the registration quickly.

Came here for my first time and i will certainly be returning. Carlos had great customer service and fixed my vehicle at a great price. Not to mention I also got my registration done at the same time. I recommend anyone having troubles with there vehicle to come here!

I took my car for an oil change and they checked the air filter and the cabin filter, they were super dirty, which had never been changed in the other workshops and fluid adjustments, it is a good service, which is recommended. Thank you, Carlos.

I first came upon RodCar when I took my car in to get checked due to an oil leak problem. Now let me tell you, I am not car savvy whatsoever so choosing a mechanic and not getting ripped off can be hard but a good friend recommended Carlos at RodCar. I did highly appreciate how Carlos took the time to explain to me what had happened in the most simplest way. Most mechanics will just let you know it's fixed and end of story. Not Carlos, he was professional, polite and reasonably priced. I did get lucky that he was able to get my car fixed by the next day but I recommend that you call in advance as they can get very busy. This is my go to shop and I am very happy.

Took my car in for a quick service, Carlos did just what i needed, no hidden fees and no, he did not try to sell me a bigger service than I needed. Place is small but he gets the job done on time. If you are looking for a fair price this place is probably your best choice.

Amazing Customer service! Needed to get my registration and new tags done for my new car but didn t want to wait in line at the DMV, Carlos was fast and efficient with the paperwork. Definitely recommend going to him! Five stars all around!

I really had no hopes for my car since it had been broken for 6 months due to a transmission problem. I decided to get an estimate of how expensive it will be to fix it and Carlos gave me a fair price so I gave it a shot. After all the work and effort my car feels brand new.

I've come here a few times and have never left disappointed. A few oil changes and brake issues that were dealt with in a speedy manner, as well as a bad alternator that they caught with a simple check. I would recommend calling ahead of time, because some times they do have a few cars ahead of you. But besides that, the people there are honest and know what they are doing.

The guys working at Rodcar are very helpful. Took my Honda Civic in to get an oil change. And not only was it cheaper than Pennzoil but I got a free tire rotation, they inspected my brakes, and topped off my fluids as well. Hella nice.
