I m somewhat new to the area, so when the oil light on my 07 Infiniti SUV started to come on occasionally, I got nervous especially since I recently changed my oil at another place in San Rafael. I called Pro Auto Service at 2:30pm to see if they could fit me in, & they said I could bring it over right away.After I Dropped it off, they called me back within 30-45mins and said it was just a problem w the oil filter, so they topped off the oil and sent me on my way. A less reputable shop could have said it was something much more expensive. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and have great customer service. I've been taking my Toyota and Honda to Pro Auto for years. They are professional, reasonably priced and expediente. Really nice guys ... I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Best car repair shop ever! Philip is talented, honest and smart. He and his staff are masters of their craft. After being gauged and misled by the Toyota dealership down the street years ago, I found this amazing place and have never turned back.

After a road trip breakdown that turned out to be transmission failure, these guys took really good care of my little sister. She ended up finding someone on Craigslist to buy her car for parts and they serviced our car when we came into town to pick her up. They did it for less than we're used to paying and did a fantastic job! I wish I lived in San Rafael, I would only ever go here! Helpful, skilled, kind, professional. Everything you could want in a good mechanic.

Philip one of the owners and a mechanic is so nice as nd his partner who runs the front area..known that place for 20 years..they haved always taken of all my cars and other I recommended going there..prices are greatThey are nice and friendly..they willing work with you on prices sometimes.if you have any issues etc.they will check it out really helpful and help me out for so many times ..fit me In When There is emergency ...
